This happened on 11/17/16. My grandmother died and we live out of town. We ordered the flowers through our local florist and the used Designs by Gizzard which was near the Hopcroft funeral home in Hazel Park Mi. The flowers were to be there at noon the next day for arrived for when the showing started at 2p. We got there no flowers. We contacted our florist who kept calling Gizzardos. All the way up to almost before the service at 7p the 2 orders had not arrived. Finally the flowers from the grandkids come but never the flowers my mom had ordered for her mom. I communicated to our florist several times during our time there, they would be in the phone with Gizzardos who kept making all sorts of excuses. Said they brought them and that the funeral director must have them. He did not. Grandma was the only customer there so there was no mix up. All afternoon they had said yes they were on the way. Our florist told them they would have to refund the delivery. Then when the 2nd order didn't comw, our florist called them again and they they threatened to come get the ones they delivered back from us and then we could just have none. Really!?. Who does this to grieving people? Then they said they would bring them tomorrow, the funeral was one day only. Such unprofessional behavior. Our florist felt so bad. They are refunding my mom and the designs by Gizzard is being reported to the FTD!

Placed an order on Nov 7,2016 for same day delivery (my grandmother was having surgery that day). On Nov 9 I received an email saying they did not deliver the flowers and asked if I'd like them to deliver that day, or cancel the order. I replied and asked why they had not been delivered on the 7th - no reply. I emailed on the 10th to ask them to cancel the order and issue credit - no reply. It is now the 11th and I've sent another email and have been sitting on hold on their 800# for 15 minutes waiting on someone to answer.

RIDICULOUS! Do NOT waste your time or money on this sham of a business!

Worse never again

First, the didnt delivered the flower the day they were supposed to do it. The next day the delivered the wrong arrangement and my aunt had to call the owner of those flowers to come and pick it up from her house, which she did. They flowers i ordered with the one they delivered was cheap. When i asked for refund which i paid $55.90 they gave me a sorry and $15 back which was the amount of the taxes. Cheap arrangement, wrong date of delivered, and somebody else flowers, feel bad the other person had to pick up her flowers and we got a cheap arrangement. Do not order from this place

Where are my flowers

Delivered flowers same day, ordered at 11 am and the deadline was 2pm. Flowers havent shown up and i cant get a hold of anyone to find out the status of my order. Very disappointing, as these flowers are being delivered to someone due to a death in the family.

Complete Failure

Ordered flowers to be delivered same-day to my wife, at her office. Called about 30 minutes after placing the order online, to provide a suite number that I'd forgotten, and got a live person on the phone confirming that she'd receive them by 4 pm. Wife gets home from work at 6, empty-handed. Zero communication throughout the day, and failure to deliver. Wish I'd looked up reviews before committing to placing an order with these clowns.

A cautionary tale: If possible, when sending flowers as a gift ask the recipient to send you a photo of what they received. The last two times we ordered flowers on-line the person to whom they were sent received a significantly lower quality arrangement than was ordered/paid for. Because there is a third party involved one must be a bit more careful. FTD apologized and quickly sent the appropriate replacement. Having said that I gave them a low rating because it should be their responsibility not the buyer to "police" the system.

No knock on door or card

Not bad. Got exactly what I ordered, but there was no birthday card in/on the packaging (stated there would be). It was also in a white plastic bag. Looks aside, not a bad product from what I can tell. I would have preferred they knocked, since if I wasn't here to check my mother would not have known it was there.

I wanted an Edible Fruit delivered to a hospital for a 19 year old heart surgery patient. I ordered on line (shine bright) very nice picture with sprinkles on the fruit and mixed fruit, partially chocolate covered. The fruit was partially covered but no sprinkles at all. I ordered this on 8/19/16, order stated same day delivery, NOT. They emailed me saying there was no one at the hospital with MY NAME ( I am not the patient) they said they tried to call me but no missed calls. On Monday no fruit was delivered as of 9am, I was calling but their number says closed 24-7 so email is the only communication. If you can handle poor communication and not what you ordered then this is your place.

The Phone listed does not work & refers you to their customer email which generates another email when used to yoyo you back into more emails. USE ANY OTHER COMPANY - My mistake was not researching - Good Luck

Disappointing

I sent 2 bouquets of flowers for my grandmothers 94th birthday and none were sent and I haven't got a refund for any. The florist tried to deliver the flowers to me instead! Then I was informed they don't deliver to my grandmothers city in Washington. Very dissatisfied :(

I ordered chocolate covered strawberries for my daughter in law who just graduated med school. She's in Chicago and I'm in Florida so I was leary since I had never used florist.com. They were delivered on time and I was told they were fresh and delicious. Thank you for the beautifiul and delicious arrangement. I will be a repeat customer.

I ordered a large standing wreath of white flowers with a significant number of roses for my uncle's funeral and a wicker basket with no roses and mostly purple mums was delivered. I contacted flowers.com to tell them the substitution was unacceptable and requested a refund. I was completely ignored and finally got a refund through my credit card company. I will never order from this company again.

I placed an order for flowers for my mom. My credit card was charged and i expected the flowers to arrive the next day as stated. They never came with no explanation from the company other than they would deliver the following day. My mother waited for 4 hours and none ever came, when i finally emailed them myself they stated they couldn't deliver until the following week and if i wanted a refund i would have to wait 3-5 days. So they have my money but did not provide service. Offered no compensation even a coupon code. Basically did not care that i couldn't afford to sent other flowers and left my mom with nothing due to their terrible service. I would avoid the headache and order locally or through a better site.

If I could give a rating of zero stars that is what I would give. I ordered a fruit arrangement several days in advance for Mother's Day for my Mom. The delivery time was from 9 am to 7 pm. I received a call after 6 pm saying delivery would arrive soon. Then within the hour another call was received that there was a mix up and someone else was delivering by 8 pm. Nothing ever arrived and I was never informed of any further problem. My Mom's Mother's Day was ruined she never got her gift. This is unacceptable. I strongly suggest that people stay away from this company. I certainly will never order from them again.

I ordered flowers for my mother to be delivered to her home. They were left on the porch waiting for her to come home to be surprised but she never came home and ended up in the emergency room at the hospital. Florist.com assured me that once she was released they'd redeliver at no extra charge. However, once she was released, it was to a nursing home. I informed them and they assured me that the flowers would be delivered that day or the next business day to the nursing home. To make a long story short, my mother never received the re-delivery from Florist.com. Where's the compassion anymore?

What a Mother's Day? My mom, mother in law and grandmother received Old flowers. Mold on fruit and delivery at midnight by someone that was hoarding marijuanna!
They didn't care when I called to tell them AND their lines were closed all Mother's Day weekend to complain.
This is ridiculous and I will be complaining to the BBC also.
Please don't use them people. They are a rip off. You DO NOT get anything that looks like the picture. You will regret it!

Ordered a plant for 94-year old Mother for delivery two days before Mother's day to avoid disappointment. Get email from FTD.com saying delivery will be one day late, making it
Saturday, still one day before Mother's Day, OK. Days pass, call Mother, not a sign of it 3 days later. Send email to FTD.com 4 days after Mothers Day asking about order and requesting discount or free shipping for huge delay. TEN DAYS after holiday get email saying order can't be filled. Irresponsible. Will never use them again. Offered a discount of $10 available to everyone. Ha.

Worst experience of my life ordering flowers for my mother for Mother's Day. Held for hours for help on phone and finally just hung up on numerous occasions. I couldn't get one person to email me back from the company. Flowers were a day late and even later than was told was supposed to be there that day. The flowers my mom got were pitiful, it was like someone an just thrown something together last minute. I ordered a bouquet mixture and she got 4 roses that died the next day. I did finally get a refund when I was helped greatly by one person I got on the phone. DO NOT waste your time or sanity with this place trying to save money because I promise you will be disappointed.
