The company has garnered significant criticism regarding its reliability and customer service, with numerous customers reporting issues such as late deliveries, incorrect orders, and inadequate communication regarding cancellations. Many express frustration with the quality of the products received, often falling short of expectations set during the ordering process. While a few reviews note satisfactory experiences, particularly regarding resolution efforts, the predominant sentiment reflects disappointment and a lack of trust. This suggests a pressing need for the company to enhance its operational efficiency and customer support to improve overall satisfaction and reputation.

I ordered flowers to be deliver to my wife's work on Valentine's day and never got delivered. It was supposed to be a special day for both of us and thanks to this company our Valentine's was ruined. I definitely not recommend buying anything from this web site.
I ordered flowers before Valentines day, the order confirmation said that the order would be delivered on Valentines day, after 9pm est order was still not delivered. Now I am extremely disappointed and embarrassed with a company that has done flowers for our family for years. After almost half an hour of listening to music a operator finally answered, if i wanted to listen to music i would have turned on my radio. Then the operator asks if i want it to be delivered at a later date, HELL NO I DON'T, The day and moment is gone now... Refund my money. Ftd is no longer on my list of florist anymore...
Back in the 70s and 80s when you wanted to send flowers, everyone knew you chose an FTD florist. I chose them for Valentine's day 2020 because my wife deserves the best. I was willing to pay more to get the best. I spent over $120 for 12 roses and a little stuffed bear, chocolates and delivery costs. I paid for FTD because I did not want my wife to get a box with a do it yourself kit. I want the young person proudly marching into my wife's work with beautiful flowers in hand and announcing he had a delivery for my wife. What she got were old flowers, THAT CAME IN A BOX FROM THE UPS GUY IN A DO IT YOURSELF KIT, the rosebuds started to droop within 4 hours at work. They have a 7-day satisfaction guarantee I will ask for a refund Look at the pictures. Wouldn't you? FTD IS DEAD. Go to Walmart they are cheaper and at least you know you are getting cheap flowers.
Ordered flowers from FTD for almost $100. The e-mail says they were 'delivered". I've been here all day, I think not. I call, talk to some guy who doesn't really even speak English and he says, "be patient, your flowers are coming." Ummmm... the email says THEY WERE ALREADY DELIVERED! Asked him if he could call the flower shop they are coming from and he says he did. But then can't tell me where the flowers are. I asked for a supervisor and have been on hold for a HALF HOUR with this idiot and STILL they can't tell me where my flowers are! Don't waste your money!
I am writing to give feedback about my experience and tell you how disappointed I am. I ordered flowers through FTD's website to be delivered today. I checked in the morning since I know when I send this recipient flowers, she usually gets them around a certain time. I spoke to 4 different customer service representatives via their chat that gave me the runaround and were not able to give me an accurate status. I then finally spoke to another representative that said and I quote "Your order looks great and should be delivered by 5" basically assuring me there were no issues with my order. Another hour went by, and still no delivery. I contacted customer service again only to have another rep tell me that the recipient wasn't at the location and they had called me to tell me, but were not able to reach me so there was no delivery made. This was beyond infuriating! The only reason I even knew there was an issue, was because I called. NO ONE called me to inform me, my recipient was there all day and I never got a phone call. The lack of customer service was beyond upsetting. No one was able to get a hold of anyone, and the only thing they could offer me was next day delivery! This was for someone's Birthday, and their surprise was ruined. Next day delivery would do no good, I do not feel anyone, including the supervisor I spoke to went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I am disappointed, upset, and anything else you can think of. Yes, I requested a refund, but that doesn't matter because I still received poor customer service and someone's Birthday wasn't made special. I will never use their service again and I would hope no one else has to go through this ordeal. I hope they upgrade their customer service as it is lacking terribly.
Called customer service twice to add an apartment number... what a disaster... spoke to 3 people all of whom could barely be understood as well as them not understanding a word I said, the connection was horrible and the language barrier was worse. If you are going to farm out your customer service to India at least get a working phone line
It's been a month and I still have not been refunded $80 from flowers that were never received. If I could give them a 0 I would.
Tried sending a flower arrangement for the birthday of the wife of a friend of mine. The day after the expected delivery I check the tracking FTD provided and see that no delivery was made. I contacted FTD asking what was going on. I got an automated reply saying that the flowers I had ordered was not available in my area. Now note, I do mot love in the boondocks, but in Austin TX, and couldn't they tell me it was not available when I ordered it? I called FTD saying I could order another arrangement for same price or less, BUT it would not be delivered but tomorrow, that his two days after the expected day. Would they have advised me of the non delivery had I not checked? No apologies, no compensation, nothing from FTD. Never again will I use them
Do yourself a favor and do not order from this company. I preordered flowers for my 14 yr old sister in laws birthday to be delivered at her school. At 3:30 the delivery person calls and says she can not find the address. Then goes oh I am here. Well my s. I. l isn't they let out before 2:30! Claims she would call back no call back, customer service will not respond. And to boot she just lost her father 2 weeks ago so we wanted to make today extra special. Thanks for messing up this day!
Ordered a simple bouquet for my wife to have it delivered the same day. 8 hours go by and still no delivery. I called customer service to get an answer on delivery time and no one had a clue. I called 4 different times and spoke to 4 different people and no one could give me an answer. I don't know where the customer service center is but all the representatives i spoke to could barely speak or even understand English. Sounded like an entire room full of confusion and incompetence. How hard is it to look up an order number and verify the delivery? Its not rocket science. Terrible customer service! I will never order from FTD again.
Ordered for an out-of-state friend's birthday a month in advance. They were delivered a day late somehow. Nowhere through the ordering process did I read that the flowers would not be in bloom upon delivery, but upon receiving a picture from friend, they looked almost dead. The instructions she received said they would bloom in a few days. Would have been nice to know prior to ordering. Will never use this site again.
I ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday to be delivered to her office. The delivery date said the date was open. It went downhill from there. The flowers did not arrive on her birthday. They did not arrive the next day. It was three days before the flowers were delivered.
Half-priced grocery store flowers would have looked better. Apparently the florist did not have a heat lamp to place the flowers under to make them look even worse.
The only answer I received was that the florist attempted delivery on the first two days. What Florist.com didn't know is that the building is secured and that the security guard has records of who goes to the office where my daughter works.
Did they offer to make it better? No, they offered a $20 coupon. Why would I order flowers from these people again? The answer is I won't. And I am writing this to save you from the same problem. Stay away from this company.
This is probably the WORST company I've ever ordered flowers from.
They never delivered and then claimed they "attempted" delivery. It was to a business building with a mailroom open 7AM-8PM (they promised delivery before 5PM).
Not only did they fail to deliver they also directly lied about the "attempt" to deliver.
They are actually a version of "1800flowers", WHy keep two websites for the same service? TONS OF BAD REVIEWS ON BOTH COMPANIES.
Stay far, far away from this site. My order was never delivered and I was not offered any explanation. This is absurd. They operate on very poor business practices. This company should be shut down. Do not use them!
Ordered an arrangement for a celebration of life service. The arrangement received looked NOTHING like what the picture of my order looked like. Customer service was awful. I sent 4 emails finally called.
I used florist.com to deliver a Mother's Day arrangement to my Mother In Law and the bouquet was nothing like the description given or the picture shown on the order site. What was delivered looked cheap and tacky. It honestly looked like someone had pulled a bunch of weeds from a ditch and put them in a vase to deliver. I informed customer service of this atrocity and their response was if you didn't take a picture to we won't be doing anything about it.
There are a lot of options out there when sending flowers, I urge you NOT to use this one.
I shopped with them couple of times and their customer service is plain garbage. I will not order again ever! They also lie about the 20% discount. I emailed them several times regarding my 20% and they keep ignoring their advertising. Disappointed and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Things can go wrong with any order, and that is understandable at times. In the end, my recipient received the flowers I ordered, and they were fresh and beautiful. However, they were a day late due to driver truck issues, and they delivered the next day at 8:30 p.m. which I thought was pretty late for a delivery considering they were already a day late. Most frustrating issue with florists.com is that they are only open 9-4 or 5 Eastern time, I live in Seattle, so in trying to call for help around 2:00 p.m. they are already closed and so I have to wait until the next day to get someone on the phone to receive information about my order. This is the worst part of this business. Customer service doesn't have to be 24 hours a day, but it should be at least until 5 p.m. in all areas they deliver.
Ordered flowers for mom for Valentine's Day and less than 24 hours they are dead. Within an hour of opening box (yes BOX) of flowers, they were drooping and losing petals. Paid over $50 for this crap and was assured freshness and 100% satisfaction. I want a refund
