Unfortunately, I did sign up for the email notification to recipient regarding flower care... I read that this was supposed to be sent at least 1 day AFTER DELIVERY! Flowers arrived today, so care email should be later tonight at earliest. My wife received the email last night at 11:45pm spoiling the surprise of the flowers, taking away that "moment" that I was going for when her breath would've been taken away when she first received the delivery. You can't get "that smile" or feeling back. So when the flowers arrived today, although she was happy and loved them (thank you), she was NOT surprised, and it fell into the category of signing for another delivery. She did smile, and again loved them, but I could've achieved that smile and feeling by ordering dinner from our favorite chinese takeout. And saved money doing so. The impact of flowers is the element of surprise, otherwise I'd just order take out and go visit the botanical gardens.
