Very unhappy with Freshwater Systems and will never use them again. Waited two weeks for someone to return my call after Frank in customer services said someone would get back to me the next day. Called him several times and left messages and never got a return call. They sent me a filter that does not work in my refrig and now they are making me wait while their warranty department deems me worthy of a refund

The main Viqua UV system was omitted from my order and some other unit was sent along with misc parts that had to be returned.
When the system I ordered arrived, I found it requires no greater than 0.3 ppm of iron in the well water to be treated. Now I have to research, purchase and install iron treatment equipment before I can install the filter and UV system I ordered.
Have you water tested before you shop and go over the specs with the sales rep or read the product literature before buying.
Freshwater didn't offer any guidance in that area but did make efforts to get the right equipment to replace the incorrect first order.
Always order my UV light from this company. Always in stock & arrives on time.

Placed an order in January, 1 month went by and nothing. Sent an email for an update and was told it was backordered. With a 30 day estimated ship. That passed and still nothing. Then magically 3 months later it appeared on my step. This company needs to communicate better with customers and products.
We ordered 20 fittings and they were disgustingly dirty and 2 of the 20 were broken. These were expensive fittings and we expected them to come to us in better condition.

Customer service was always very attentive. The challenges were more with the product and follow up. It was back ordered. When I called into have the order released, it did not get followed through with and did not get processed. I eventually had to call back in and go through Customer service to get the order re-released and processed. A few extra calls to Cust Service that could have been avoided.
There were a few questions I had that were going to be emailed back to me with a response that never happened. I guess someone forgot. Overall they are good.

Ordered a filter, product came as described, no problems... everything went fine
I was able to purchase this product at a very discounted rate on Amazon for my parents (as I did with my own refrigerator water filter) and it works well. The water tastes substantially better after the new filter was placed and we're all happy with this purchase and with the money savings.!
The shipment was a little slower than Amazon shipments, but product was as advertised and I will probably make further purchases from Freshwater Systems.

I have very HARD municipal water, yet it taste GREAT after the Imperial.
