Would rate 0 but it wouldn't allow me to submit. My meals arrived in town on Thursday. Out for delivery on Friday and never arrived. Still never arrived on Saturday. I mentioned it to customer service that UPS was showing delivery on the following Monday and was told UPS was showing wrong and that it would arrive Saturday. Now I have to scramble to find alternative meals without a kitchen to cook in.
Our last order included a meal that we did not order. Consequently, one of the meals we did order, was missing. Ken, our CSR quickly took care of business by refunding the cost of the meal. Thanks for having sharp, effective CSR's available on weekends!

I worked with Pink, my Freshly associate, who found the error in my account information and cancelled my subscription as requested. She was polite and took care of my problem quickly. Thank you for the excellent service.

Like the meals, I just wish they had meals for diabetics- bland. Also less sodium.

Had a death in the family and had to leave town unexpectedly. Contacted customer service to cancel the order the day before it was set to arrive. I assumed it was too late for a refund due to the last minute nature of my request, I was more so concerned about food spoiling since I would not be home to receive it. But I was wrong. Friendly, compassionate customer representative cancelled the order and also proceeded to refund the cost as well. Totally unexpected but much appreciated; you don't find customer service like this very much nowadays. Have definitely earned future business from me.

Service was wonderful. Arjen did not try to persuade me into staying or put up a facade of "you will be missed". Actually took the time to read and understand why I was canceling my subscription and wished me well. I will definitely be coming back to Freshly once I return just because I wasn't forced to keep something. Thank you again!

I had a bit of a challenge with not having clear foreknowledge of when I may have other food delivery, which arrives without notice. I was trying to determine whether I could get delivery sooner than a particular date, when the soonest date was much further in the future than the minimum of 5 days. I hate having to ask questions that may be too "internal" to operations. But Gen didn't make me feel uncomfortable about needing to understand the inner workings, so that I could make a sound decision, on whether to set up an order on the soonest day available. A lot of times when you have to veer outside the typical questions, a Customer Service assistant (not necessarily a Freshly CS assistant) is not nearly as responsive as Gen was. She knocked it out of the park every time!

I had to wait in queue to be helped by a live rep but the wait wasn't too bad, The rep (I forget the name) was efficient and very courteous. My issue was resolved and I'm very satisfied with Freshly as always.

Today I received my 5th Freshly order and for the 2nd time in the last 4 weeks the order was wrong. This time 3 of the 6 meals were incorrect. I can understand a simple picking mistake maybe once. But when 1/3 of one order is wrong, then 1/2 of another order within a month is wrong, that is very careless. I cant even eat 2 of the meals I got today due to food allergies. I will say the customer service is still very efficient and they probably have to be since it seems folks can expect errors more often than they would like. Claidia was able to help me in just a few minutes and they offered me a full refund. They also said my issue was going to be sent to a resolution team to review. When I asked if there are people to double check orders, I was assured there were, but its hard to believe that when there is more than one error in multiple orders now. Food is pretty good overall but buyer beware, based on my experience you are bound to run into an issue. If you like surprises though, then you should have no problems with the Freshly program!

Answer: Hi Marc, Thanks for your inquiry! At this time we change one meal per week, typically. We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
