It was ok but I would like to say there is nothing on your site nor in the delivery explaining anything. Had to email to find out about reorders if they were automatic or do I call the order in! Has no explanation as far as the items they were frozen why! The cooking time is way off they say 2 minutes more like 5. So far my son who is mentally challenged says they are good and the portions really surprised me they are large. I will start up the orders again at the first of the year
The food was awesome, I will order again. I don't like auto ship and withdrawal and only a 4 day window to eat before expiration so I will order less so food doesn't go bad, but well worth the money and great food, I would definitely recommend.
I love the convenience of meals delivered to my door. The added bonus of gluten free and tasty has been delightful. Portion sizes are such that I am never hungry, and often can't finish the entire meal.
I've only tried a few meals from Freshly, but am really liking what I've tasted so far.
I am so glad I ordered. This is the best food ever. I have never tasted anything so delicious. It's better then home cooked meals. Everyone need to try this food because 1 meal and they will be hooked. Thank you Freshly for providing us with not only healthy but amazing flavorful food..
My family started with Freshly due to our extremely busy lifestyle of two working parents and a kid playing multiple sports. We had been unhappy with the quality of our dinners due to schedule. We also really care about our health and have been gluten-free for years. Freshly has really figured out how to deliver delicious, high quality meals to our door. We are SO happy!
I love your meals. I also love the quality ingredients in them! I actually freeze them and use them when I'm pressed for time and they still taste wonderful!
I could not be happier with the quality and taste of all of my Freshly meals! Having tried 2 other services, Freshly's flavor wins HANDS DOWN. I think their 12-meal plan is very well priced, and allows me the ability to work long hours and still eat healthy gluten-free tasty meals without blowing my food budget. What a find!
I really like this, but I think there are three things that would make Freshly REALLY stand out.
One is to make the portion sizes 20-30% larger. They don't quite do the job, though they are close. If they have a grain option that is a little more filling, that might be enough.
The second is the packaging. It's kind of hard to get the food out. I'm pretty strong, but the adhesive makes it hard enough to pull off that I worry about dumping my food. I've had to cut it out each time at this point.
Third is to have a rotating option. I don't like eating the same thing each week. I'd love to say I want just lunches and dinners and then say what I DON'T want instead of what I do. Then it's more of an adventure what shows up at my door.
I am so glad I decided to order from Freshly! I thought at first it was a little expensive but the money I was spending on takeout and groceries I never used was way more. It tastes delicious and is good for you. The portions are amazing and sometimes I have enough to save for another meal. I love it!
The food is reasonably priced, absolutely fresh, good for you m, and taste like fancy restaurant!
To be clear: I do not like cooking. For years it has been a huge drag on my time and energy trying to figure out what to cook and how to cook. I am just not a cook. I finally decided to treat myself to removing this friction from my daily life. I signed up with freshly and now they bring me six dinners a week. Gone is the stress, gone is the indecision, and I am able to have a wonderful hot meal every day. This is a great fit for me!

My bank statements I have only received 2 refunds and have
2 outstanding! I canceled my order and on Oct 2nd received
An email from their company and they turn around and send
3 more meals. And continue to bill as the story goes one
Blames the other and still no back refunds! I am done and

I'm sorry to hear about those delivery issues/errors! Looking through the communication it appears there must have been some confusion, because previously there was no mention of a cancellation request, which is why the account was still active and charged again. I do see that one of those three charges was voided, and two refunds were processed today. It can take 3-5 business days for refunds to post, depending on your bank/card issuer.
I can assure you that this is not indicative of our standard customer experience. I'm going to message you privately with a possible resolution to the situation.:-)
What a timesaver freshly is! I love the able to have delicious, healthy prepared food in my refrigerator for those moments when I just don't have time to cook and need a quick bite. The meals are delicious, and seem to be getting better and better, too! I love that they mix it up and add new choices often.
I absolutely LOVE Freshly. You have really helped relieve some of my stress in my day. I know I can count on good, healthy food and I didn't have to slave over shopping and cooking.
I can tell you I get a little bored with the meal choices but I just cut back on the amount of meals I get for a week or so and pick back up again.

We have been receiving Freshly meals for the past few months and could not be more pleased with the quality ingredients, variety & great flavors. The couple times I've needed to contact customer service (glitches on website) they've blown me away with their prompt, personable & professional response. It's been quite awhile since I've been delighted by quality products backed by quality customer service. Thank you Freshly team for renewing my hope that there still are companies who take pride in a job well done in products AND service. I will continue to recommend & sing your praises.
Freshly has been a great addition to my normal routine. They have made healthy eating easy. For me, eating well at work has always been a challenge. Freshly makes it simple because I can bring in a breakfast and lunch without any effort in the busy morning to prepare and pack a meal. I have great healthy food in the office and am less tempted to go out for lunch and spend a bunch of money eating bad. Thank you Freshly!
While I am really enjoying the food and the service that Freshly provides, the website has been a little frustrating. The good news is that every time I contact someone at Freshly, I come away very satisfied with my experience.

I realized that I ate large portion and this Freshly taught me how to eat reasonable portion that I supposed to eat. I enjoyed eat their healthy food and lose 15 pounds over 8 weeks. Thank you so much!
Answer: Hi Marc, Thanks for your inquiry! At this time we change one meal per week, typically. We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
