We have tried different companies that do similar things, only to be really disappointed. We were very happy and surprised with the quality, freshness and how tasty the food is constantly. We looked at the food with our first delivery and thought this is not enough food, but I was wrong. They are more than enough. I would like to see more choices in the menu. We are starting to tire of the same foods. Maybe you could change things up a little more. Thanks for the great food.
I tried another company a year ago and did not like it at all, in spite of that I tried Freshly. It is fabulous! Very tasty, healthy and something I look forward to having in the house. Nice to know its not processed and full of preservatives. Thank you for providing a healthy alternative.

I have been a fan for many years but in the last year I have had so many problems with getting other peoples orders or not getting what I ordered or having things arrived damaged. I don't know if you have new management or something but in the last year things have gone downhill dramatically for me personally. You guys are always generous at crediting me for all the issues but I would just simply rather have what I order when I order with no errors
I am so happy with the freshly team! When i first started ordering freshly I decided on the 9 meal plan. My husband and I were so happy we decided to up the order to 12 meals. I got a little confused when changing the plan and added the 12 meal plan so i was charged with both. I contacted the Freshly team and my problem was solved in a matter of minutes. I am a hair dresser and have been referring friends and clients to your service. I received emails that i will receive 8 free meal and that it would be credited towards my next order. The transaction went threw at full cost. I emailed the freshly team at 9 am yesterday and by 4pm they emailed me back and resolved the problem. I couldn't be happier with this service. Not only is the food great but when a problem arises it is easily resolved. My only critique would be to add the option to up your meal plan without canceling your current plan and opening an new one. If you could just do it when you update your meals that would be easier. Also it would be nice if you could add on one or two extra meals if you would like so you could have the option of 14 or 15 meals.
I started Freshly in November 2015 and it tasted good, it gave me the kick start i needed and i started losing weight almost right away. I went on vacation and asked that i skip two weeks. They didn't get that right. I cancelled the subscription.
I started it back up and placed an order figuring i would give them another chance - i did the 9 meal order but then within 30 minutes cancelled the 9 meal and chose the 6 meal. I called a couple days later to confirm the 9 Meal was cancelled and was assured it was and i would be refunded the $99. They still sent the food for the 9 meal so now i have more than i need and they refunded me $69 not $99.
Terrible customer service - its too bad because I did enjoy the majority of the food even my husband did.
I have tried it once and noticed didn't get a chance to updated the food. So I contacted them and see if I can do a small change before they ship it. The customer service respond my message exactly from the manual without any consideration and then I have receiver the shipment conformation and received exactly the same meal... I was a new user who's still trying to figure out how to use this service. It's not user friendly so I canceled the service.

I had high hopes when it first arrived. The meals were ok, nothing to rave about. Kinda edible for diet food. But there subscription service IS THE WORST! They say easy as skipping a week, no it's not they still charge you and send you meals even when you catch their error early.
They sent me meals when I had no use. When I didn't want them. They did nothing to fix the situation. Appaulling customer service!

I certainly want to thank you for your feedback! I'm so sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with our service and with the customer experience team. I'm quite surprised, as we are constantly being complimented on our customer service.
I would like to look into this and do what I can to resolve the issue for you--we certainly never intend to force customers to get delivery and get charged when they want to skip weeks.

I've been a happy Freshly customer for almost a year. The meals are delicious, reheat well and are perfect when I don't have time to cook for myself. On the rare occasion when I've had issues with my delivery, the Freshly customer service team has been outstanding and extremely prompt and courteous in their responses. I recommend Freshly to all of my friends, and I couldn't be happier with the service!
I was happy with all the food I received. I got breakfast, lunch and dinner to see how I liked it and I will definitely be purchasing it again! The food is well portioned and very tasty.
My first week on freshly I lost ten pounds and dropped a inch and half of my waist, just eating the meals and no working out! Eventually I plan on adding moderate exercise with this program. I also noticed I have not had any digestive issues at all which is a blessing! As well as I feel full and no need to binge eat after already eating.
Truly grateful for this program, not to mention people at my work in the lunch room have been asking"mmm what smells so good".

Food came a couple of days late but the first few meals are good.
Arrives right at my door, ready to put in the fridge. The food has been fantastic. It's actually quite a large portion too. Tasty, fresh and I don't have to do any of the work! And unlike a lot of packaged food Freshly food is chock full of meat and veggies!
The food is outstanding and the packaging makes it so convenient. I recently had an issue with my online order and the support staff was BEYOND helpful. They assisted me so quickly and efficiently. I was hesitant to try this sort of food prep but FRESHLY made me so glad I did.
I love Freshly food! The meals are consistently fresh and very tasty. The portions are generous as well.
I decided to try Freshly after having tried two other meal services. The first one was phenomenal, fresh, and delivered daily. Unfortunately, for various reasons, closed their doors and no longer offers meal delivery. The second, Sunfare, wasn't at all what I expected and turned out to be the most expensive of all the options out there. The food looked like it was prepared on an assembly line, seemed far from fresh, and wasn't impressive to my palate in the least. Freshly is an affordable choice with an easier delivery schedule. The food has turned out to be excellent and best of all, gluten-free. So far, so good. I am impressed and will continue with service.
I would like more choices for meals and for them to change more often. Also I really enjoyed the Cuban lunch (with ham, pastrami, etc.) so it would be great to bring that back.
Freshly = excellent! Love the food. Quality ingredients with a focus on healthy diet rather than just taste, low in fat and sugar. Delivery system is perfect, price is good. Customer service is very friendly and responsive. Glad to see the meatloaf back on the menu - nice one!
Only real problem is the way the menu changes every month. Fav meals are removed, others are altered and not always for the better. Would appreciate a permanent menu, with a few rotating options. Option to customize meals and sides would be a great addition for the future.

I've been a Freshly customer for about 5 months now and I can't say enough great things about the food and the company. The meals have always been amazing! And on the rare instance I had an issue with them (one meal was open upon arrival for instance), they responded quickly and compensated me immediately. I had a few missed deliveries due to a system error, and was well compensated for that inconvenience as well. Great food, great service!

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.

We absolutely strive for excellent customer service and typically deliver it, so I really want to help here and see what happened.:-)
UPDATE: Tasha I actually found your account (you're the only "Tasha I" in our system) and I see that you were indeed originally incorrectly refunded the $69 instead of the $99, but as of yesterday the $99 refund was issued as well.:-) That should post in roughly 5 business days, depending on your bank/card issuer.
I'm glad to see that was handled; as I stated, we strive for excellent customer service and will always do what we can to make any confusion/mix-ups/errors right for our customers!
You'll be happy to hear, I'm sure, that in the beginning of the new year we will have an entirely new website, custom built for us, that will have better functionality on the customer end, allowing you to more easily do things like skip weeks or change plans without the hassle and potential mix-ups.:-)
