Every meal has been delicious and I don't have to cook it or do dishes. We love coming home to dinner that takes only 3 minutes to heat up.
All of the dishes I have had, for the exception of two, have been outstanding. I've recommended to several people I know and encouraged them to try. Saves so much time for people with busy schedules like mine. I do wish though there were more vegetarian options.
There are many great options with Freshly. Some of the items are a little unconventional, but I have had fairly good results with choosing items I thought I would enjoy. There is plenty of communication, to remind me to change options or if I want to skip a week. The portions are filling and as a rule tasty.
Really helpful, good food., easier for me to go to work without stressing out on what to cook because im always busy. So I'm glad im trying freshly foods. So far it's really helping.
My husband and I enjoy sharing the flex 6 option about every other week. We've tried many other meal companies, and think the quality of food is good. We have a one year old so being able to microwave meals and eat quickly is the other best part. We are big eaters (and the baby ends up eating some too) so a slightly bigger portion would be of value to me.
I was looking for healthy meals for my dad who recently had a heart attack. I wanted meals that were not only healthy but easy for him to make. He has enjoyed every meal he has ordered from Freshly! I feel good knowing that he is eating much better!

Small thIngs:
Ice bags could have a biodegradable, safe liquid that could be disposed of in the sink, rather than into the trash (adding weight and possible spillage mess).
Another steak or ribs option would be fantastic!
It would also nice to be able to add 1-2 single orders on top of an existing package. So I selected 9 meals for the week, and wanted to include one more to make it 10 (for an individual price discount based on my 9 meals), why not?
Other than that, great!
My husband and I both love Freshly meals. We have a busy life and they free up our time. They are cost effective for our budget too! Only suggestion would be to have meals lower in sodium and maybe provide more changes to the weekly menu for more of a variety each week. But, we are overall extremely satisfied and impressed with both the meals and the service.
Most of the meals I really liked and was surprised that most of the calorie counts were good. They always arrive on time in great packaging. I don't need them all the time but when work's really busy, it's so great to grab a prepared meal from the fridge and know I'll have a healthy lunch or dinner.
Very disappointed when freshly shipment was first one day late, then three, then all of a sudden three days late was cancelled.
Yummy food, every Saturday. Decent cost/food ratio. Nice portions.
Biggest challenge I have is when I'm not home on Saturday-- I've had to call neighbors to get the box off my porch so the food didn't get hot in the middle of summer.
But if you're there to get the food, I've not found any downside to anything with this service.
Oh, having to predict what foods you'll want two weeks from now is always kind of challenging. It's easier once you get in the groove, but it's probably the least elegant part of their process. If there was a way to at least start eating the current week's food before I have to predict next week's, that'd be better.
But all in all, I definitely recommend it. No complaints!
Food is great, just too many carbs. I have Syndrome X and can't tolerate grains and white carbs. I gain weight and get bloated. There's just not a big enough selection of low carb. If you expand the menu let me know.
Food is great, although portion size could be bigger and sugar+carb content could be lower. The convenience of the dinners is truly unbearable.
This is the fourth food delivery service my husband and I have tried. The others were unprepared meals so I thought I would switch it up. We received pasta and meatballs, meatloaf and Santa Fe Chicken. They were all horrible. I wouldn't feel the meatballs to my dogs and am getting nauseous just thinking about them. Yuck!

My order was switched without me knowing it a couple of times but other than that its great. It is pricey.

These meals are great and convenient. But obviously, since you are microwaving it, some things become mushy. I guess if you want things crispy, you'd just cook it yourself, right? Haha.
Love these for those busy nights that I'd normally just grab fast food on the way home from work. Thankful for these instead.

I have enjoyed all my meals thus far and even place another order. I tired the Chicken Pilaf tonight and threw it away. After one bite, it was so salty it felt like it burned my mouth. I wish I wouldn't have picked it for my second delivery. It sounded good.

Every meal we've tried from Freshly has been a huge hit with every member of our household as well as guests. Many of whom are toddlers, teens, and adults who're potentially the pickiest eaters on the planet.
Worth the money when you consider how hearty and healthy the meals are as well as time saved shopping, cooking or cleaning up. No dishes to do if you choose.
Meals taste amazing and fresh, safe and healthy to eat.
Freshly had been a great source of stress relief and a guilt-free quick dinner time saver.
Highly recommend to busy families who don't want to compromise healthy eating for convenience. Very healthy meals that taste fancy-restaurant delicious.
Increases family together time because Freshly means less time cooking and cleaning and more time connecting and enjoying one another over scrumptious dishes that totally look and taste like comfort food but that are easy on the arteries and allergies.
Serving sizes are perfect.
My one wish is that we'd be able to add to weekly meals on short notice in case of company. However I understand that the Freshly crew need the extra time to prepare.
All in all Freshly has transformed the dinnertime aspect of our lives for the better. It's actually fun to meal plan now. Minimal effort required and the food always arrives fresh.
Not only are the meals delicious, but they are healthy, fresh and without weird additives. They are also not boring! The only prep is in the microwave. So in a couple of minutes you can be eating.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)

Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
