The meals are delicious, the portions are just right, the variety is amazing and it's so convenient. BTW they finally found packaging that works!
Needs improvement in packaging and variety- food needs more flavor. I do like how they provide great alternative to starches and carbohydrates. Delivery is also always timely
The food is easy to enjoy. It warms up quickly and all the dishes are delicious and filling. I am satisfied after every meal. Thank you. I realize that the sealing of the trays is necessary and is done so to preserve freshness and sanitaion keep the two sections from mixing but they are a bear to open. Those dudes stick with such tenacity! Don't change them, I just had to complain about them. Thank you
I enjoy the variety of the meals. I especially like the southwestern dishes. I just tried two pork dishes and they were very yummy.
Food is tasty. Choices need to increase. Ordering is difficult and confusing. Monies earned never reflect on my next order unless I call about it. I love the full box when it arrives. Packaging excellent and we are big recyclers. Portions are adequate.
The food tastes and looks wonderful! The portions are spot on. The meals are prepared and you don't have to worry about preparation just heat and enjoy! Great for singles and people on the go! Love that the company is environmentally friendly and the customer service goes above and beyond your expectations.
They are tasty and convenient. If I make a meal at home I would normally not include vegetables, so I like that vegetables are included. I recently tried the shrimp scampi and it was too fishy for me but so far the steak sirloin is my favorite.
Great taste and quality of food. Unique packing keeps items fresh till they are unpacked. The only complaint is getting the plastic off of the food tray after warming in the microwave.
I love that freshly is all Gluten Free so I don't have to figure out what is and what isn't. I love that the food is so easy to prepare and is DELICIOUS!
As a gluten free single person who works a lot and doesn't cook... this is my dream come true!
I only wish they had more options. After a few weeks you are eating the same thing over and over. So more would be better. But I'm loving so far!
We love knowing we have Freshly meals awaiting us after work. No stress from shopping, cooking, cleaning up. We are very pleased with these meals.
We chose Freshly because we both work full time jobs and come home really tired from work. It's nice to just pop in some food at the end of the day. We also use it for lunches. It's been a big help!
However... the sodium content is astronomical and the fat content is very high in most options. Speaking of options, I appreciate that there are occasionally new food selections, but for the most part, it's the same food week after week. We are thinking of cancelling.

I think the food we have gotten has been mostly great (didn't love the hawaiian chicken i had last week). The portion sizes are great. I do wish there was a bit more variety from week to week and perhaps a few more shrimp/fish dishes. We really like it though!
I didn't expect it when I ordered but I was surprised when I tried it. It is extremely delicious and restaurant quality. No more go out to eat and save huge time but I wish they have a jumbo size option.

Great tasting meals that I look forward to eating every week. I eat a Keto diet and find that with just some minor tweaks I can get the exact macros I want from my Freshly meals.
It is easy delicious but I wish it is a little less expensive and a little more food otherwise it is handy and delicious
I won't say I've raved over every single meal, of course not- BUT I can definitely say I would rave about many, enjoyed almost every one and even the few I didn't care to re-order were not bad, just not my 'cup of tea'. As an example I selected a Jamaican style chicken dish knowing that I usually can't quite appreciate Jamaican as my friends do... but I trusted Freshly to give it a fair shot and I wasn't afraid to sample it. It verified that I just don't really care for jerked chicken lol but that's not Freshly's fault.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
