I started using Freshly about a month ago and have not been disappointed since. I live alone and even though I can cook I do not like to for myself. I feel I can spend my time doing other things. This was the smartest thing that I have done with my meals. Each meals has been fresh and delicious. The food is the just the right amount which is good. When I cook for myself I have the habit of overeating and Freshly has the portions just right for me. I have raved to others about this and suggested to all single people instead of going out to eat all the time just have Freshly deliver and eat fresh food in. Thank you for the wonderful dinners.
The meals are great, and the portions are more than adequate. My roommate is now a Freshly customer as well. :)
With this dish and sometimes others you use way too much spice-sage, oregano, rosemary-not sure if one or all- but way overdone.
Very convenient, but it would be nice if there were new options added more frequently. It would also be nice if it were easier to open the shrinkwrap b/c I currently have to cut it open with a knife.
These have saved my life! There inexpensive but more options would keep me buying. My life is super busy and i take care of my Dad so when i work late there perfect. Thank you for what you do.
Almost everything I ordered has been absolutely delectable. There are a few things that aren't to my taste, but obviously that is to be expected. One thing that would interest me if it is at all possible is if you can interchange sides/proteins. Sometimes I'm all about the sides of a meal and can care less about the protein and vice versa. Also some lower carb options (like the buffalo chicken and mashed cauliflower) would be awesome.
Have mostly enjoyed meals. Now that we have been receiving for over a month, find we'd like a little more variety
As a foodie, I love having so many choices AND it's healthy, fast, portable food for a trucker! Opening a second account soon!
We are enjoying our meals. I would like to see more choices with beef that doesn't include high carbs.
My family has been enjoying Freshly for about 3 weeks now and so far it's pretty good. We do wish it offered more options weekly vs. having to pick from the same meals all the time.
There have been a few stinkers in the bunch, but overall the meals are tasty and I love the convenience. Additionally, I would prefer most the meals be slightly more filling.
Need to add new meals more often. There are far too many "white chicken" meals. Include more sauce in each meal that has sauce. The omelet in the breakfast meal was awful!
I have tried other food delivery services and found that I was spending a lot of time chopping, dicing, cooking and cleaning. It was just too much after a very long day. Freshly arrives all prepared! I literally microwave and eat and throw away the package. The food has been delicious and I have found I am saving a huge amount on my grocery bill by not wasting ingredients that don't get cooked. I love it!
Good food at a good price and good for you. Great option if you don't have the time to cook it yourself
The pork meal is poor. The steak is good, the chili is best but I have only once received it. I am quiting the service due to poor choices.

You have an amazing product, I like it, but two deal breakers made me cancel my subscription:
* Dietary restrictions, means DIETARY RESTRICTIONS! If I mark dietary restrictions on my settings, it's not only to be displayed on my meal planner; it's because I expect to not receive such products when the system assign me the random plates. Compensation is ok, but you are dealing with peoples food and health, so, fix it! I will be happy to chat with your Product Manager/Owner, but this is a MUST!.
* We are living on 2017. We recycle, we reuse, so why the 1/3 of the package is just landfill garbage? I like your products, and I will be happy recycling the packaging, so make the change. Take a look to blueapron, fresh or any other competitor. This is not a "cost" problem, y something you should be proud of, and not for filling my whole garbage recipient.
PD: why the hell are you asking my email again? To map my identity when you already have it? Dude, what is your PM doing? Busy testing the plates for the next week? Fix the problems, fix the flows, reduce customer friction...

I have enjoyed the meals but have not ordered any of the breakfast foods b/c of the price. Some of the items have too much Italian style seasoning and I would like a change of a few items every other month, etc., but I would recommend this to anyone, especially someone living alone who must undergo surgery and be confined to home for a a few weeks. Portions are sufficient. And ALL items arrive very very cold!
This subscription service defaults to three types of meals and unless you go into your account each and every single goddamn week, you'll get the same meals every single time. Do not use this service. It's boring, tasteless and very run of the mill. There are other services that are doing this much better.

I've been very happy with this service. The food has all been great, fresh, and flavorful. The convenience is so nice - 3 min in a microwave and a wonderful meal is ready - great time saver for those on the go, or that just don't want to cook in the summertime heat of Arizona!
All meals with the exception of a couple have been very good. Nice selection, portion size is just right and delivery packaging is perfect for hot Texas summers. Would love to see salmon and more shrimp dishes as well as more breakfast. The ability to pick how many meals per week or skip a week is great.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
