I like most of the Freshly meals. Some are too spicy or overly-seasoned, but basically they are tasty and seem to be healthy and fresh.
I have not been disappointed in a single meal! Recovering from a stroke, I am cooking less but still looking for a convenient way to enjoy savory, healthy meals. Freshly has made it possible and exceeded my expectations. THANK YOU!
Don't like how they automatically send orders. I think formal permission and ordering should take place each time. The cost is getting too high for me, and there is not enough
I love Freshly but find the choices limited and repetitive. Also it is pricey comparatively to other online services.
I'm impressed that the food is expertly prepared so that it cooks to PERFECTION when I heat it at home. Love the protein-packed, gluten-free meals that are full of flavor and hearty servings.
I like and admire the eco-friendly packaging, and I appreciate the helpful information on the meal packaging that adds a touch of personality to your brand.
My only wish is that there were an extra new meal or two every week.;-)
The food is delicious and healthy! Maybe a little on the expensive side, but it tastes fresh and there are no funky ingredients. For the most part, the portions are perfect for one person. It is delivered on time and keeps you from having to cook very often. My only suggestion would be for Freshly to add newer recipes to the menu more often.
We've been looking for the right meal delivery service for a while now to relieve the stress of cooking after work. With young kids to look after, it can become quite a point of conflict in our lives and prepare-your-own-meal services just don't help.
I'm happy to say Freshly has come to the rescue!

- The delivery is convenient and all recyclable or compostable materials so you don't have to guilt over the packaging.
- The food flavors are amazing, no bland meals!

The team has also been extremely responsive to feedback and continues to improve their food, delivery processes, website and other areas as they receive comments. This is refreshing to see as it's clear they truly care about their customers!
Food is high quality and super easy to make. Lots of variety with meal choices, I like that I can eat my favorites often. Great customer service.
We are getting meals every week as I'm a caregiver to a disabled person and this relieves some of my stress. However, a month into the process and we're starting to feel the variety is lacking. I have someone who can't eat anything spicy and is starting to feel a little sick of chicken. The food quality is great, but we'd like to know there are other options for variety. Thank you!

Freshly has been a great solution to our problem of not having the time during the week to prepare healthy meals for our family. All of the meals we have tried are delicious, and we repeatedly comment how much time it would take us to prepare these meals ourselves. The chicken is always tender and juicy, and we appreciate that Freshly is creating new dishes regularly.
I have been eating Freshly foods for the past 6 weeks and am very very happy. I have seen some weight loss with an increase in energy. I am hopeful this will continue. Everyone has different tastes and I find most meals very good. I hope they continue to offer New meals so my interest continues.
Meals are good and serving sizes are plentiful... not a fan kale so I would like another choice on side dishes... I would of given 5 Stars but one week recently was delivered too late to use
We have had issues with our order not being shipped on time and the food spoiling. Otherwise when we do receive our order we really love the food. Just wish we could rely on the shipment.
More options needed. The protein is fine but my family did not like the sides in most dinners. I personally did not eat any of the meals. I Liked the fact my husband did not have to worry about getting glutened. ( celiac disease) but he was never really excited to eat one one of the dinners.

I found the meals to be very tasty and much better than I expected. I like the high protein low carb and having the calories counted for me. I've been cooking for 50 years and this is a nice treat to have meals delivered.
Second time delivery failed. So hard to rate food that you never got to taste! Maybe the delivery system will get better so for now only a 3.

We have a newborn and a four year old at home, so life has been busy therefore there's been no time to cook. Freshly has totally saved us without breaking the bank. However because we use it so often, we wish there were more options to choose from so we can change it up week to week. We also do Blue Apron and love that we've had something different every week (have never even repeated a meal).
Primary reason we use Freshly is the convenience, no prep or cleaning. Food quantity is good. Quality is good for most meals. Need a guide on heating two meals at same time (how much added time recommended). Would like to see more food options every couple of months.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
