I love my weekly Freshly delivery! The food is delicious. Ive only had 1 meal that I didnt really care for, and my husband likes them which is the real test! The price is reasonable, and these are quick meals that I can actually feel good about eating! Ive recommended Freshly to many friends and family. My only complaint is that they are only good for 3-4 days after my delivery, but I have frozen a couple to eat later which worked well.
Food was so good that my mother in-law wanted it too vs. fast food. I work and my husband & daughter like to go out for their fast food but I wasn't going to have anymore. I was trying to find a good tasting food. Trying to lower cholesterol, blood pressure & weight. It is nice to see the content of these things when I am trying to lower fat intake. I have tried other food services and this is the best one for me. Want more good side dish items. Broccoli mash? Not a Green Bean fan.
Love the convenience and the food has been tasty. It would be nice to have more variety in the meal selection options.
Out of all of the food delivery services i have tried Freshly was by far the best. The food was pretty good (as compared to frozen store bought meals). Portion sizes we pretty good and the seasoning, although light, was acceptable for a company trying to cater to a large population. All in all as compared to everyone else out there, I'd definitely give Freshly 5 stars.
Most meals are good, just need more variety. Tired of the same meal selection every week... Nothing more to say...
I really like freshly. It is a great way to ensure my mom ( a senior citizen living alone who doesn't cook) eats at least one meal a day that is well-balanced and nutritious with high protein. I wish there were more choices of dinners. I have been doing freshly for about 6 weeks and we're starting to get bored. I wish there were non gluten-free options as I am not gluten free. But overall it it is an excellent option for me and my husband who love to cook but sometimes we just want good healthy food and not have to cook and not get it from a restaurant or a delivery service. The flavor is pretty good. I do have some suggestions, for instance there could be a little bit more salt and a little bit more butter on the vegetables. I wish there was broccoli in more dishes. I think asparagus would be a really excellent option. I wish for breakfast there was pancakes and French toast with sausage or bacon. The chili is wonderful over a baked potato. Overall this is a wonderful invention in a much better choice than frozen dinners.
I have been using Freshly for about 2 months now and I really love the food! I'm someone who tries everything and then goes to my favorites and there are a lot of favorites here! They often change up the meals and add new ones that are "seasonal" or culturally diverse so I appreciate the options! I really like that all of the meals are right around 500 or so calories too, I think that's a good meal amount and it's helping me stay on track with caloric intake - sodium is often high, but they do a good job of being healthy creatively. I appreciate the convenience of the service with my busy lifestyle. The only thing I wish there was is salad options, I'm very surprised they don't offer meals like this. Please add these in and keep up the good work!
The food is mostly good, but I dont like it when the randomly substitute meals that I didnt choose. Its happening to often now and Im getting really annoyed.
I ordered a two week supply right from the start, and today they arrived in a nice refrigerated box. I tried the Chicken Pilaf. There was barely a spoon full of rice under the chicken. The chicken breast was OK, but the veggies side-dish - carrots and green beans - no taste or seasoning whatsoever. Left me unsatisfied and frankly, I'm not even looking forward to tasting all the choices I ordered. I will eat and review them, so far not impressed at all. If every dish is like this, I will cancel this subscription in the next few days.
So today we ate the Chicken Parmigiana and the Penne with Meatballs. The Penne with Meatballs were acceptable but not more than three stars and very little for an adult meal. The Chicken Parmigiana was Chicken; it had nothing to do with Chicken Parmigiana which should consist of a breaded chicken breast topped with tomato sauce and mozzarella, parmesan or provolone cheese. It was a chicken breast with some gooey tasteless cheese and tomato sauce. Not horrible but nothing I would ever order again. The steamed with no flavor whatsoever broccoli was inedible. To my surprise and Freshly credit, as soon as my review (the top part) was posted I was contacted by a Customer Service Rep (name unknown), which wanted more feedback and gave them exactly what I wrote in the review. All in all, it's very disappointing, and I'm not sure what other people were ordering and gave them 4-5 Stars, maybe they compare it to frozen dinners from the grocery store.

The food is great. The price is right. Great UI/UX on the website. They are a well-oiled machine! No issues ever. Two thumbs up.
I have only subscribed to Freshly for a few weeks and have been satisfied so far. I did not receive my meals one week, but Fresly responded quickly after I notified them and credited my account, gave me an apology and a perk on my next weeks meal plan. I have enjoyed most of the meals I have selected thus far with few exceptions while at the same time I have some favorites that I will order over and over. They have a nice website that make selections easy to process with pictures of the meals along with nutrition information. The meals are reasonably priced and give you the flexibility of skipping weeks when needed. I really like the idea of eating healthy, fresh, well-balanced meals that taste good with only a few minutes spent in the kitchen for busy people. It is necessary for me to freeze the meals after I receive them because of the delivery schedule in our zip code, but this has not impacted the flavor of the meals. I look forward to staying with this program to see how it works out for me in the long run.
Freshly has absolutely changed my life. I figured that I would try it for one week, just to see if the food was at least okay so that I wouldn't spend so much money during the week on lunch. It has turned out to be one of the best decisions that I have made. The food is absolutely fresh and delicious. Now there are some dishes that are significantly better than others, but that depends on your palate. The Freshly packaging is unbelievable. The vegetables, especially the string beans w/carrots are delicious. Even the breakfast is great. Their chicken dishes are awesome, as well as the steak peppercorn. The shrimp scampi is delicious and has so much shrimp in it. I am not a fan of the ground beef dishes at all. I'm surprised at some of the other reviews because they must like bland food, lol. The meals are seasoned very well and the portions are very filling. I mean, I like to eat and get full, so I know what I'm talking about. And the beauty of all of this is that, all that I have to do is put it in the microwave.
I worked in High-End Restaurants for 39 years, and was a very "snobby" eater. Then I became ill and could no longer cook for my husband, family, but mostly myself. I turned a bad corner, became sicker, and then found FRESHLY! The food is better than I ever thought it could be. My husband loved it also. But the best part was My nurse was here today and my nmbers are improving! I am eating again, every day, and loving every minute of it. Thank you Freshly
I have been pleasantly surprised with Freshly. The meals arrive as scheduled, well packed and ready to go. I tried a cook at home food delivery before, but seldom had the time or energy to cook it. This is perfect. Good food with flavor that just takes a few minutes in the microwave. The portions are generous and the selection is just varied enough to keep me happy. It would be nice to have a few more choices, but I really do like Freshly a lot.
I was hesitant about this after having some unpleasant experiences with prepared food. I am a retired chef, so I am pretty picky. I was so pleased to find a resource for tasty, generous portions for dinners which I do not have the time to make for myself.
No one is perfect, of course, but Freshly is doing a wonderful job and seem to actually listen to feedback to make everything better.
I highly recommend this company.
Love this company. My crew are not adventurous eaters so this allows me to eat different items each week without making my family try things that they don't like. I cook their favorites and eat my Freshly for dinner.
When recuperating from an operation of my foot, it has been so nice to have these prepared meals. We choose from a large variety, and all have been delicious!

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
