I love not having to think about cooking dinner. I hate cooking and for years I would waste time money buying food I would waste because I would cook. The fact I can come home pop afresh meal in the microwave and in three minutes diner is served! If I could give any feed back it would be to change up the food. I have to eat the same meals all the time.
I cant love this enough. So far all the food is really really good. I get home late and Im too tired to cook. This makes it like Ive slaved over a stove with ingredients Ive never purchased and made a gourmet meal haha.

WOW! $10 per serving?!?!?! Really? I feel like I've been punked. The meals started out somewhat bad and went straight to tossing everything in the trash untasted (the appearance and smell were all I needed). I read all the good reviews here and thought, Say what? I was seriously pissed that I perfectly good money on this garbage, even at the introductory rate. Freshly has ruined meal kits for me.

I really enjoy Freshly but have been disappointed lately as my last 2 shipments never made it to my house on time - late by 2 or more days, so I had to throw food out. Having come from the freight/shipping industry, I understand this is due to an overall shortage in trucks and thus capacity issue.
But please work on improving meal deliveries - work with trusted carriers and request guaranreed deliveries with trucking companies. Itll cost more, but so will losing customers. Thanks!

I can assure you that we take delivery issues extremely seriously. It's certainly never our intention to not have your meals arrive as scheduled, and as we continue to grow we're working to put better measures in place to avoid situations like this, and provide better communication when delays do occur!

This is probably the most convenient, healthy, and tasty things I've ever done... meals are ready in less than 5 minutes, and I have never tried one that let me down flavor or filling-wise!

Great dinners with just enough for anyone, perfect for diet programs. The protein and veggies are great its fast to cook, great flavor in most meals and you can add any condiments you want at add flavor

Freshly has been a great experience, the food is always great and packaged really well. I haven't recieved a package that was warm and I sometimes don't arrive home until several hours after the package arrives. I have recommended this service to many friends and family members. It is a fabulous addition to our busy lives.
I'm so glad to have fresh food delivered fast, but without the hassle of cooking and dishes. That said, some of the food (especially large cuts of red meat) just don't taste good microwaved. I also wish there were more options each week.

My husband and I love all the food! I really dont like onions so the only one I found I didnt like was the meatloaf but everything else was great!

I am highly impressed by the quality of these dishes. I am the pickiest eater I know with regard to quality of ingredients (especially proteins) and skill of preparation. These recipes are amazingly "authentic" and delicious. Even after heating the meals in the microwave, the flesh proteins are still tender and juicy - I consider that an enormous feat. These chefs are amazing - many kudos to you all. Delivery has always been on time and packaged perfectly. One time they emailed to say the delivery might be delayed, but it wasn't after all. I call that excellent management of expectations. It is so great to get such excellent gluten free meals! I struggled with eating GF, especially after I got tired of cooking. This makes it happen for me.

We are flooded from Harvey and don't have our kitchen back. As such, Freshly has been great! I do think they need more options for vegetarians. My son is a vegetarian but has been away at college. Which is lucky since there really hasn't been many options he could chose and one of the few sold out. That's my other critique. Two of my options sold out last time and I wasn't alerted. Rather two other random options were inserted instead. Luckily I caught it first. Please email your clients in the future to let them know when this happens.

I don't enjoy cooking or going to the grocery store so this is an answer to my prayers. The food tastes great and is easy to plate and heat up. The choices are good and I enjoy all the vegetables versus carbs.

I order the 6 pack each week so that me and my son don't have to cook as often since I started doing Chemo treatments and it's become a no brainier. I can avoid what I don't care for and focus on those I enjoy with no worries that I will not like what I get. Meal size is perfect as well.
Been very happy with Freshly so far, especially the pasta dishes and the risotto. Have recommended this to friends.
Its so nice to have a healthy option when I dont have time to cook or clean (which for me is often)! Its like having your own personal chef.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
