We've tried several different food deliveries but this one has the highest quality and best tasting food ever! We actually look forward to our evening meal without huge preparation or time. It is higher calorie than diet meals but very satisfying!

The food is well flavored and not at all bland. Bonus is that the cooking instructions are spot on. I do t have time to even put together a meal kit many evenings, so Freshly helps me have healthy meals.

My family enjoys Freshly meals. I also notice that they have tweaked some of the meals to improve the taste. We like most of the dishes and the turkey chili is mine and my husband's favorite currently! They only request is I wish there were more delicious kid friendly meals. They are the reason we joined freshly but we are running out of options for them, ages 8 and 11. Many dishes are too spicy.

I am pleased with my first couple of months of using Freshly. Initially, what surprised me most was the generous size of the portions - usually the size of prepared meals are barely enough to satisfy while eating, let alone enough to get you to the next meal, but Freshly meal portions are definitely large enough to satisfy. I am also very pleased that the focus is on healthy eating, which is something that I tend to ignore what I am cooking for myself. If I have one recommendation, it is that the meals could be seasoned better. For example, the "andouille sausage" in the shrimp paella was pretty tasteless; however, I have no objection to adding my own seasonings. For the record, I have recommended Freshly to a few people who are weight and health conscious when it comes to eating.

I love Freshly. It makes my life so much easier and the food is really, surprisingly good. My only complaint would be that some more variety in the meals would be awesome, I know you rotate things in and out but it still feels a little monotonous sometimes

I have been using freshly for 1 month+. I order 9 meals a week on average and my favorite meal, has been discontinued and i do not look forward to my meals each week like i did the first week and Im considering quitting freshly. Please contact me for more details.

The food is tasty. However, this service is very expensive. It is just not worth it. I can eat healthy food for a lower cost.

Im a caregiver for my 90 year old mom who lives with my husband and me. Its stressful! I so look forward to three nights not cooking. The cod cake dish is awesome. The pork chop... meh. Hard to translate from fresh, perhaps. Love the roast turkey. The cauliflower mash just needs seasoning. I think its difficult to microwave veggies with much success, so they are sort of hit and miss. My hubby and I both agree the broccoli with the pork chop tastes WEIRD. The chicken dishes all seem fine. Beef chili is ok. Next week we are trying the turkey meatballs and the turkey chili. I did try one of the omlettes, but I didnt like it. I am super picky, however. I am grateful for this service as when he and I go out of town, my mom can microwave HEALTHY meals and thats a load off my mind! I hope you keep adding things on! I worked in a James Beard award winning restaurant (front of the house, as well as in the back) and I really appreciate what Freshly is doing. Thank you!

Ive been getting freshly for about a month or a bit longer and love it. Everything tastes good quality meats vegetables. Ive told many folks as the portions are great and the calories are reasonable.
I have 2 things Id love to see improved - Id like the plastic to peal easier after heating. And 2 some sort of gift card or gift option. I was speaking with my office manager as we in the office get free lunch that we should gift a week of meals to our away folks. I suggested Freshly and just seems like too much work making accounts and canceling them ect. It would be cool if there was a way that if they signed up we could pay via gift card or just pay a week something like that.

The selections are great and good to eat, so tasty and tender. Love the convenience and not having to put anything together. And especially this time of year not having to heat up the kitchen. Also, no cleanup. No waste or leftovers. For the single person this is the best way to fly - Love it

First, I am really enjoying the Freshly meals. I am in a particularly hectic time in my life and having your meals in my fridge has kept me from a very bad pattern of nightly take out. Have not had a meal yet that I have not thoroughly enjoyed.
The two little problems occurred tonight. I was eating the turkey meatballs with spaghetti squash, (Which is quite yummy!) After twirling some squash on my fork and put it in my mouth i encountered a long reddish brown hair. I wasn't totally surprised as I do have long hair... mostly gray... But some still brown. Then a few bites later I encountered another, same length, same color. This one I was sure came from deep in the center of the squash so I knew it did not come from me. I also have my hair pulled back and pinned up.
So... I finished my meal. I was close to done anyway! And I don't tend to freak out easily. But I definitely thought you needed to know about it and follow up on it. I am fully aware that most people are not nearly as chill as I am about these things and you should find out what happens and correct it ASAP.

I really enjoy having the fresh meals with little preparation! Almost everything Ive tried has been delicious, and sometimes theres more food than I can eat in one meal. Theres a great variety of food to choose from, and when I reported the one meal I didnt care for they gave me credit. Thats good customer relations!

I like the variety that comes with each meal, I think you should have more vegetables and a very small amt of potatoes. The pasta is very good tasting but is over cooked remember we cook it again in microwave. Thank you for wanting my opinion.

Answer: Hi Marc, Thanks for your inquiry! At this time we change one meal per week, typically. We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
