Freshly has been a wonderful solution to those busy weeknights. Tired of takeout, we tried most of the box meal delivery kits, but found the prep to be too much! Then we found Freshly, fresh delicious meals and all the prep work already done! A perfect solution for us! Thank you Freshly!

I knew the time was coming when it would get harder to cook as it isn't just the cooking but the clean up and the shopping. I have been preparing for a couple of years by trying several different meal services most of them are frozen. I then tried freshly and it is great for me, the food is fresh and taste very good and all I need to do is put it in the microwave then I move it to a plate and it feels and looks beautiful to eat. Thank you freshly.

Freshly arrives on time and cold. I prepare each meal for my husband who is not on a diet restriction like I am. Out of eighteen entrees he has given thirteen of them a score of 8 to 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. This allows him to eat a great dinner without having to restrict the foods that I can't eat.

The food is good quality and quantity. Some dishes are too spicy for my taste. I like the ease of just putting it in the microwave

I am sure now that Ive been ordering foods from Freshly more then a month now and I see lots of changes. Most of the time I eat the meal prep before I go to the gym like an hour before. I feels like I have more energy and strength to workout and give me in a good mood. Sometimes I eat after workout but these foods are really great and healthy I love it

For someone who has a very active lifestyle, I dont have a lot of time to meal prep. Freshly meals make the decision of what to eat for breakfast, lunch, or dinner simple, and they taste good too!

I love freshly for weekdays when we're so busy cooking isn't an option. We've tried Blue Apron but the 45 minute cook time didn't help us. It only eliminated shopping. Freshly is fully prepared and portioned for real food, real fast. What I'd make with time.

The meals are delicious but not much variety. The plastic covering is soooo hard to remove. Meal size can be increased. It seem to never be enough for lunch. Cant imagine my husband eating just one item for lunch in which case it becomes not cost efficient.

Chicken meals are my favorite, but you use the same chicken in every single one of your chicken meals. I don't care for the flavor, so I cannot order any of the chicken meals. I would love to see you start with fresh chicken and cook it in a variety of ways to add delicious fresh flavor to your chicken dishes.
Thank you for your review and feedback, Dana! We do our best to offer a variety of dishes on our menu, and I apologize you haven’t been satisfied with our chicken options. While we use chicken breast in many of our meals, we do use different preparation methods, such as an oven-fry method for cooking our Buffalo Chicken, as opposed to grilled like we use for our Chicken Risotto, or Chicken and Rice Pilaf. We also offer our Chicken Parm, which is chicken breast coated in ground almonds! We’re working to add even more options as we grow, similar to our Tikka Masala which is chicken thighs.

The meals are tasty, more than enough to fill you up, and healthy. Im not gluten intolerant, however, I like that they are gluten free for my weight consciousness. The only drawback is that the menu never seems to change and Im not sure why, because other services like Plated, etc, change the meal menus weekly. My family is tired of the same selections already.
I've been ordering Freshly for over a month and a half now. The food arrives the day you request and packaged properly so it doesn't spoil. Every time I has a question, or needed to change something with my account, I would text the Freshly customer service. Having that connection is extremely convenient and helpful. Especially if you have a quick question. It's an actual person responding to you too which is even better. They are so friendly and attentive to your needs. Probably the best customer service I have ever experienced is from Freshly. The food is wonderful and so full of flavor.

Healthy meals made quickly. Love the fact that I can change the meals out weekly, or simply the order amount. Portion sizes are perfect.
2 draw backs - tons of trash with the shipping box. I understand shipping food, but if there was a world to simplify the amount of recycle trash this generates, that would be amazing.
Second thing and most important. How come the seal on the meals has to be superglued ready for space travel. Theyre so hard to get off. Keep in mind youre taking the plastic covering off when the food is hot, trying not to burn your hands peeling back steel seals =)
Otherwise, I hype the brand and food all the time. Thank you for the great product.

I've been using Freshly for several weeks now. Finding a meal delivery service that understands dietary restrictions, and that gluten free should not equal cardboard-y tasting stuff has been refreshing. Freshly meals have become my go-to option for lunches during the work week since my workplace cafeteria does not offer many healthy options and the gluten free option is salad, and we don't have a lot of restaurants nearby with better options. It is really simple for me to heat the meals in the microwave and I've got a good lunch! The app makes it simple to update my preferences each week. Delivery has been on time without issue. My only wish is that there was a way to somehow send back the packing material to be re-used in shipments, but given the challenges with that, I think Freshly does a pretty good job of reducing the true waste in the shipments, making packing materials recyclable/non-toxic.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
