I love Freshly and have been telling everyone I know to sign up. It saves me so much time, allows me to try new things, and every meal is delicious! I think it's amazing because you get to try a wide variety of cuisines within one week for an affordable price vs. having to buy all the different ingredients for several meals and trying to find the time to cook them. I also have no interest in cooking, so this it's amazing to just have to heat them up!
Everything is perfect. The quality of the ingredients, condition of the food - it's never dry or inconsistent, the recipes and flavor prove the obvious skill of the chefs responsible, portion sizes are perfect, convenience and reliability of delivery, the packaging, the low price, the easy to use and and simple website design. I literally have zero complaints. I've tried a number of meal delivery and meal prep services, I've never been fully satisfied with a single experience until now. I've never had such a reliable experience with even my favorite restaurants or my own cooking.

Food tastes great, super convenient. My only complaints are 1) there isn't enough variety, I feel like I'm eating the same meals each week 2) they use chicken broth in some of their beef dishes and I am allergic to poultry.

When it comes to be healthy, time and quality are equally important. I don't always have the to meal prep the yummiest healthy meals. Freshly has all the answers! They'll keep you on track and save you that time of meal prepping yourself. I get more variety this way and they taste so great.

I've been using freshly for 2 months and I really LOVE it. The meals are very tasty, nutritious and portions are good - not minuscule like some other places or frozen dinners. I get 12 per week so I have lunch and dinner ready to go and honestly, for a little over $100 a week, it's a bargain. Any meals I dont use I pop in the freezer. I share them w friends when they come over for dinner and it's worked out great. I know I'm eating less fast food and box food for sure. Thanks freshly!

I found freshly concept amazing. Also the food quality and taste is exceptional. They keep changing the menu too which I liked it but the quantity is little less. I feel hungry immediately after an hour

The meals are delicious and easy to make. Our schedules are crazy and the fact that we can just pop the meals in the microwave and in 3 minutes have a fantastic meal is wonderful! The portions are perfect!

I have had the service for just over a month and a held and I have only had 3 deliveries( I believe but might be slightly mistaken by one or two deliveries) but I know for sure that I have had two deliveries messed up by the curriers. So I had two weeks when I was supposed to have meals that I ended up having to do all my own cooking after the fact. The problem is if the delivery is messed up then you are SOL until the next week. So now the service that I am paying to be convenient is now an inconvenience. I use the 12 meals per week plan so that I don't have to meal prep. Every delivery missed means I now have to do all of that again but with no extra time. Because I haven't planned on my plan not following through. I do get reimbursed for the order but what about the time that I am now losing?

We like to use the Carbohydrate filter to choose our meals. They taste great!
We like that they are not Frozen and simple to heat up.
It's fun, also, to read the fun nutrition facts on the inside of the cover.

I love getting my weekly freshly meals. I'm a very busy single mom that works two jobs, homeschooling a teenager, and in school myself. I rely on freshly to provide for one meal a day for me and it has been a life saver. I have yet to have a meal that I didn't like.
Your food taste like I made it at home that day. It always tastes fresh and cooks to perfection. I feel a lot healthier eating Freshly as well. Thank you.

The food is great tasting and helps with portion control, the only problem I have with the 12 meal week is the dates are 2 days out of date by the end of my week.
Thank you for your review, Cassandra! I do appreciate your feedback regarding our use-by dates, and I apologize for any trouble caused. Since we don't use any artificial or chemical preservatives in our meals, typically the "use by" date on the meals is about 4-5 days from the ship date. You can certainly freeze them to make them last far longer, though! You'd simply need to add a couple of minutes to the heating time and reheat from frozen, without thawing. We recommend confirming that the food is reheated to 165 degrees, the same as reheating from fresh!

I have tried a few different food prep companies and this is by far my favorite. The food is amazing and you're given many different options to choose from based on your individual goals, the delivery is reliable and the customer service is on point. Week by week goes by and I can't imagine my life without it.

I would like to take back my comment about the delivery being reliable. My husband and I depend on these meals for lunch, they ship out on Sunday and usually arrive early afternoon on Monday. This week I got an email after 12 noon on Monday from freshly saying that the meals would be delayed, not arriving on Monday. It is now 2:20 on Tuesday and still no sign of them. So my husband and I had to unexpectedly scramble for 4 meals, costing us more money as eating out usually does, that they won't credit us for. The customer service says all the right thing but says that certain things are out of their control. How about you find a delivery company that you can count on? A few weeks ago, we got a box that wasn't packaged correctly so all the food was spoiled. Yes, they credited back the cost of that weeks food, but left us scrambling again for our lunches. The next "issue" will be 3 strikes and I will end up cancelling simply on account of the lack of dependability. Not having to worry about meals is the number one reason people get food prep... Now I have to worry every week if they will arrive on time, and if they do, will they be packaged properly. I would put money on the fact that when this food does arrive, it will be spoiled from sitting in a hot truck in San Diego for 2 days.

Most selections are delicious. Packaging of delivery box could be more sturdy. Prices should be less than $10 per meal.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.

Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
