I want to love it... I really do. But there's such a limited number of meals that don't include either too much black pepper or chili powder or "cayenne sprinkles" or red pepper flakes... for those of us with an ulcer history and sensitive mouth those are all deal killers. I look at every single new release, hoping to see none of the above---and sometimes I do. I'm still a member this time around and have actually stockpiled the meals that I can eat in my freezer, so that when they are off the rotation, I'll still have meals to eat, even if I'm skipping weeks of deliveries. But please consider seasonings on the side... or just allowing folks to season their own meals more. I have thrown out way too many of your meals that had "no warning" before I learned to read every single ingredient VERY carefully... and just avoid a lot of meals that I'm sure would be really good without the red pepper flakes, lol. I appreciate your time in reading this.
Quite delicious and I enjoyed it very much. My carrots needed an extra short time in my Microwave. H

I hate to cook-love to eat. The meals are good and diverse but have one suggestion for now. I think we need more vegetables in some of the meals- There are a lot of things that can survive this kind of situation, broccoli, squashes, green beans and there are some mixes already being used. Also some meals are pretty high in starches-main dish and side Calories are important-too many, fattening

While it's not the cheapest out there, or the tastiest... they do a good job overall. It's possible to make food flavorful without tons of sodium, so in some ways they need to improve. Our deliveries have been stable even so far through the Covid-19 crisis. Customer service has been 99% on top of it. Friendly and no hassles when something is amiss they just refund you and that's it. It provides me with trust and the will to continue with their service. Although I experiences problems in the beginning about every other week or so, it's been solid for a while now. We recommend the service and have friends and family using it so it's better than average and we're thankful for it.

My husband and I love all the different meals, they are all delicious and so fresh! The portion sizes are perfect too.
Freshly has been great. The meals taste great and are super easy to store, travel with, and prepare. One suggestion would be to offer a larger variety of meals, but they do tend to add new meals every couple of weeks.

I have been eating 6 Freshly meals per week since the beginning of March. I absolutely love these meals. I save so much time in my day for exercising and working now that I don't have to cook and clean for hours. The meals are healthy and delicious. It is the perfect amount of food. I am satisfied, and not too full. I love the variety and diversity of the meals. I am eating and trying new things in healthy portions. I have even lost weight since starting Freshly. Yay! This meal service is definitely worth the price. I could rave about it for days. Thank you for continuing your service during the time of this pandemic. I feel safe and am so relieved I don't have to deal with the hassle and chaos of going to the grocery store.
My son loves his meals they are delicious and filling. They are great for lunches but not enough food for dinners.

My shipments have always arrived on time and Freshly has been great as far as letting me know the status of my shipment. Food is very good and portions are just right. Very convenient.

Arrives on the designated day without fail. All meals are delicious. I left off one star because the menu has shortened recently and now there are no fish options available. If these are remedied i will happily add the fifth star!

1. Variety:
There is SO much chicken on
Your menu! I would love to see
Some fish or vegetarian dishes.
While I do eat beef & pork, (BTW,
Your peppercorn steak is quite
Tasty!) the red meat selection
Seems so small in comparison
With the poultry dishes.
2. Texture:
I find many of the dishes to
Be diced & chopped to the
Point that the dish is more
Like toddler baby food.
Taste:
In general, the seasoning &
Sauces are done quite well.
I did, however, find the Laredo
Chicken not at all Southwestern
As the name would imply.

Meals are very tasty. The package is well wrapped and the ice packs work great. It is nice to have a variety meals ready to eat when I am. My only complaint is that they are pretty high in fat

I like that there meals come prepared, and all you have to do is heat them up. They have some really flavorful and great dishes, something for everyone. I've been using them for months and the meals have gotten better to the point that I've enjoyed them even more, I especially love the risotto meals as its one of my favorite dishes! There customer service team is responsive, and quick. Though they can often make you email things which makes it seem like your jumping through hoops sometimes for small things. But they have always left me happy with the outcome.

Need to add Seafood!
I have health issues so can't cook and Dietitian says no beef, pork... meat. Freshly is easy microwaveable.

I JUST GOT MY CREDIT CARD RENEWED AND SO THE OLD CARD WAS REFUSED. I WENT ONLINE AND GAVE YOU THE NEW EXPIRATION DATE BUT APPEARANTLY IT REVERTED BACK TO THE OLD ONE. SO I WENT BACK IN TO CHANGE IT BACK, THEY TOLD ME I WONT GET MY MEALS THIS WEEK! THE STORES DONT HAVE MUCH IN THEM AND I WILL HAVE TO EAT CEREAL FOR THE NEXT WEEK. I AM NOT HAPPY'. I decided to try Freshly after a coworker told me he was enjoying the meals, but I didn't have high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and portion sizes of the meals! Much fresher and more delicious than frozen meals from the grocery store. I find myself looking forward to lunch because I get to have a Freshly. Would recommend!

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
