Food was overall decent. Some dishes were better quality of food and flavors than others. Not consistent either. Not much variety if you have other food restrictions besides gluten.
I have tried several other delivery companies. Freshly is the tastiest.

Been having Freshly for probably 6 months now. Both my husband and I love the different foods and freshly made. Changes with new meals that we mostly try. Previously had a few that were not the same amount in the meals as we order 2 of everything mostly but Freshly has made it right. Will continue with the convenience as long as they keep up the good work.

Most of the foods are great. Some I just don't care for but that is probably just personal taste. I wish you would offer breakfast options, especially breakfast with a focus on protein. I appreciate the weekly reminders to change or keep my menu. Delivery has been great except for that brief period when Freshly advised me they would no longer serve my zip code (after I enrolled...). I withdrew but after a few weeks inquired if you were serving my zip code again. You are so I re-enrolled.

Delivery is wonderful and always on time. Most meals are very good, but we seem to like the chicken meals the best. The peppercorn steak was very tough and difficult to cut. This is the only one we truly did not like.

I absolutely love their food... one of the best healthy foods I've ever tasted. Also love that each package includes the calories and also that you're able to order ther same food more than once in a week if you like one more than the other.

I like the take and go packaging and the nutritional information so that i know i am getting a balance meal!
I have been with freshly for a little over 1 month, and it has been a blessing to me in so many ways, it provides me with a healthy fresh lunch daily; and now that we are sequestered in our homes its one less meal I have to purchase or worry about. So far, excellent. Some meals have been less than ideal, but for the most part really enjoying my experience.
I am really enjoying it. In particular, the steak and whole chicken pieces have been remarkably goodI was surprised. And the convenience for an old lady who lives alone is absolutely terrific. A lot of your vegetables stay crispy too. Well done.
Almost every meal I've received has been great! Perfect for lunch or dinner and I'm not going to the grocery store nearly as much! I'm saving about 150 a month. No throw away, pans to wash, wasted leftovers.

I've received two deliveries so far 8 meals. I like two of the 8 and the balance were just med. Some of the many offerings I would like to try but can't get past the packaging. You do your best to make it "friendly" but there is just to much of it. I plan on cancelling soon.

Freshly is such a huge help to me! I adore being able to decide "it's dinner time!" and have it on a plate in less than 5 minutes, with a healthy combo of ingredients. I searched for a long time for the right delivery meals, and Freshly is the easiest, tastiest option! Their web site makes it simple and fast to choose plans and meals. I adore Freshly!

Since I've had freshly for about 6 to 7 months I have never had a problem with them. The food is usually great and having it delivered at my door is so nice. Plus it's healthy food, before that I was not eating too healthy. I would recommend this to anybody that's looking to eat healthier without all the "figuring out what to eat" part, plus it's gets delivered to your front door!
My order wasn't delivered. Reached out to cus supp twice that UPS tracking showed shipment ready but not received from shipper.
I would have preferred a re-shipment of a reduced
4-meal delivered tomorrow (Friday). And that would work in with my next delivery.
But refund works and thanks for discount.

I started using Freshly because I needed a break from meal prepping. I was excited by the fact that there are so many different options and new options roll out weekly. I would say 9/10 dishes I have had have been great but not all dishes are created equal. My biggest complaint is the film wrapping. It is so hard to get a grip to peel it off and it always tears unevenly. Everything else about the packaging is fantastic. I feel like there has got to be a thicker product that can hold up to a smooth tear.

Your meals are very tasty but I would like to see more pastas, with red sauce. I don't care for cauliflower or zucchini made as pasta. I know your into healthy but portions are also important. Those veggies are okay as a side but not as the main dish. Eggplant is good and healthy too.
We all aren't into eating healthy all the time.

I'm not sure that my motivation was typical, but I started Freshly to help me eat healthier and lose weight. I have tried more diets than I can remember and lost lots of weight with each, but then gained it all back and more. With Freshly, I am eating well and enjoying my meals. It is definitely not diet food and I look forward to dinner every night. The food is delicious and I don't feel deprived, so it has helped me watch my calories the rest of the day. And an extra benefit I have lost 21 pounds in 9 weeks.

Answer: Hi Marc, Thanks for your inquiry! At this time we change one meal per week, typically. We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
