All the food and service is top notch. I have been in email communication with your staff requesting consideration using meat substitute. After reviewing for the second time Cowspiracy the documentary about factory food farming and the killing and eating of animals like pigs, cows and chickens then the devastating damage this kind of food supply is to our environment.
I request that Freshly consider meat substitute when possible or offer the choice for it. Thank you, Jeff

I've been a Freshly customer for about half a year now if I'm counting correctly, and from the very first time I received my first Freshly meals to now, I still have the same consistent feeling - they have a lot to improve on.

First, shipping packaging, it's all neat and organized but I feel that for the amount of insulation included, the quality of it, and the 6 containers of meals I'm ordering, that two ice packs is too much. The ice packs themselves could also use a big improvement on being eco-friendly... currently they require you to cut them open, dump the -heavy and liquified- contents into your trash, and then sure the recycling pack skin/exterior can be recycled only. I'm sure there are more eco-friendly options out there.

Second, when it comes to the meal containers themselves, I don't know if the plastic coverings are supposed to be of good quality or of cheap quality... or if the adhesive is to blame. But, often times these meal containers are either a pain to open, or when they do open more often than not the material stretches and remains stuck to the containers without adding additional force. Again, this needs to be fixed, it adds frustration and concern both opening these containers and heating up the food if any material might fall into the food that gets stretched out and goes unnoticed before heating up.

Last, this is quick and easy - a lot of the food/meal options need big time improvement in the flavor department. A lot of contents or the meals -sound- good on paper and on the website but once you consume them they're boring and bland.

I am an RN, Nutritionist, Bodybuilder and Gourmet Cook. Yes, odd combo but I insist on "Clean" Healthy meals that actually taste good. I have tried many companies (even the ones who ship you the groceries to cook... why?) but Freshly meals are by far the best tasting and best value for your money. Granted you do need to read the macros of each dish if you really want to adhere (I like 40-30-30) to a specific regime. There are enough different varieties and taste to match most anyone. I really wish they had some Breakfast meals to complete my "good eating".

Flavor, flavor, flavor. I am a single person who lives alone (just me and the dog). Shopping, storing, and cooking meals can become ridiculously time consuming; not to mention the waste and often high prices to be paid for small amounts at the grocery. Freshly is perfect. The meals are portioned properly, take little space in the fridge, and are so easy to heat and eat. The flavor in each meal is fabulous! Spicy is spicy and tomato dishes taste like tomato and mushrooms like mushrooms and pork tastes like pork... I am very happy and satisfied with my decision to subscribe!

I tried Freshly about two months ago just to check it out. I work long hours during the week and don't have time to cook for just myself so wanted to try something different than my usual frozen dinners. I signed up for the 6 meal subscription for $60 so $10 per meal was more than my usual $3-4 frozen dinner, but I thought it was worth a try. I LOVE the food! The food doesn't even taste like reheated food! And I love that it is fresh and healthier than my frozen dinners! I don't order every week since it is a bit expensive, but I try to order every other week or once a month. I wish Freshly offered discounts from time to time or some type of star program like Starbucks where after a few orders a rebate of $10 or $20 off was available... I think if that was offered it would definitely encourage people to order more frequently and consistently as well as grow their customer base!

I love your food! It's as good as homemade. I love how easy it is to just heat up and eat after a long day.

Good food, tastes good. The plastic gets stuck to the container which can be annoying and the portions could be a tad bigger but good other than that.

Freshly has great food, they provide a great service and they always have an amazing customer service resource for their customers.
