After 3 weeks. Tasty meals. First week just didn't like having shipment arrive at 8:45 pm. All others have been by 5 which is great
I have been very impressed with the meals and service. Only thing I would wish for is a bit more variety and more fish/seafood meals.
My boyfriend and I joined freshly to accommodate with our Mon- Fri work schedule. It's so nice to come home and have dinner ready in 5 min or so (3 min to microwave, 2 min to sit). I rated this review 4/5 (more like. 4.5) because I would love to see more options. Our favorites are steak and peppercorn, chili and mac and cheese, buffalo chicken with cauliflower (mashed potatoes). I add a few things for flavoring but all in all, absolutely love and HIGHLY recommened. Oh, and the customer service is wonderful. Thank you Freshly Team!

Wonderful, staff extremely helpful.As soon as my 90 year old mother empties her fridge freezer I will introduce her to these low carb delicious meals!

Tried freshly because the meals are already cooked and you just heat them in the microwave. Every meal I have tried has such good flavor, the portion size is just right and I love the balance of protein and veggies
I have ordered from Freshly for about a year now. The food items are well prepared and tasty with a great combination of spices and vegetable aromas to please the palate.
Food has been phenomenal and truly life changing. Has forced me to eat healthy portions and to eat vegetables, which I normally neglected to eat. I am a law enforcement officer and my shifts make it hard to come home and cook this has been the answer. One thing I would suggest is to add cutouts to the side of boxes to make it easier to carry. I live in a walk up apartment and carrying a 12 meal box is not so much difficult as very awkward. Having cutouts for Handles would make this awkward size box more manageable.
Most Freshly meals taste great. (some I don't like). I have been ordering them every week for 9 months. I have no problems with the quality. The convenience is wonderful! My #1 complaint is the lack of a vegetarian and fish option. The meals arrive fresh and easy to micro 3 minutes to eat. Since coronavirus there's been less variety. I do freeze mine and have had no problems with freezing them. Portions are not huge. Its plenty of food for most females. Occasionally, I'll add my own salad or garlic bread with a meal. After 9 months I've found I like pretty much select the same 6 meals every week. If there was a vegetarian option then I'd order 9 meals/ week. Www. F

Freshly provides wonderful meals for a very reasonable price. The website is easy to use, and the selection of meals from which to choose is beautifully seasoned and varied. The whole system has been designed thoughtfully and with a good eye to fresh, healthy, tasty meals. Freshly is a treasure.
Amazing food at the right price! Very good overall food options. My only suggestion is to make everyone of the protein category plates higher than the carbs. For example the chicken tiki masala. 30 grams of protein but 45 grams of carbs?!

This started off a very skeptical oh how well the quality is that was 1 year ago extremely happy with this service very high quality food at a great price I'm single and work ill regular hours so this is perfect

Have had about 6 cycles of meals and for the most part the meals are very good. Ingredients are definitely fresh and of high quality, flavors are great. My compliments to the chef! The food is packaged well so that food remains attractive. Often the serving is so generous I can only eat half. There is so much variety I have only had 2 repeats ( my choice, of course). I have appreciated also that you can " pause" delivery if you are going to travel or have other plans. The meals freeze fine if you need to save them too. Reliable delivery even in these crazy days.
I hate coming so these prepared meals are great for me and they are delicious and filling.

Easy to order, make changes and get assistance for questions
I was able to go in and choose to skip the week or pick what meals I wanted! I love the flavors so far. I do wish there was a liitle more spice or cilantro foods!

I loved freshly when I first used it last fall. Then I got tired of the same choices of menus week after week. So i stopped, then with Covid 19 I thought i'd give it one more try. Guess what? Last week I had to throw out 1 of 4 meals i ordered because the pork tasted terrible and the side dish with it was watery and bland. And when i look at this weeks choices - it's the Same menus and there is No fish or seafood! So i've ordered for this week, and let's see how it goes. If it's another 75% week then this will be my last.

We have enjoyed all of our meals. The packaging of the meals is great and environmentally friendly. I enjoy having no messy clean-up after finishing a great meal.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
