I have greatly enjoyed Freshly. The area of Nashville I work in does not offer great food choices, and I rarely get the opportunity to leave the office to grab lunch anyway. Having used Freshly for the last few months, I was able to have a great lunch, with incredible flavors, and healthier choices than the fast food surrounding my office.
I enjoy the meals and the convenience. Delivery has been spotty, however that is not the fault of Freshly, and refunds have always been swiftly applied.

Pros: On time, cost effective, healthy. Cons: the pictures better better than the meal arrives and is lacking in the tasty department. Not enough salt or pepper. The oversized box and wasteful packaging is overwhelming.
I'm old and single and don't eat two dinners a day, so I had to freeze them. They retain their flavor when microwaved but I have still got as much as I've eaten.

These meals are so delicious and they keep adding new meals. The food is so fresh. I highly recommend this meal service.
Freshly meals are good food made simple and easy to serve. Lots of variety for any person Great easy way to feel like you are out for dinner. Good quality ingredients!

No need to meal prep, shop, cook, clean; it's a working moms dream. My toddler loves to share the pasta dishes with me. My husband hates microwaved food and he loves Freshly. Their customer service is also really fast and easy to work with. I just wish they would bring back the almond ginger chicken bowl. And I'd like more vegetarian options. But the menu changes so it's fun to see what new things arrive!

I have been getting freshly meals delivered for a good couple of months now. Even when delivery was difficult during the holiday season, they did everything they could to get my food delivered. I have enjoyed every meal that I have tried. Every meal is the perfect portion, and is very filling. I recommend Freshly to everyone. Getting my meals delivered saves me so much time with not having to do meal prep every week.
I dig Freshly. Of the 5 services I have used, another 2 I keep in the wings, Freshly has been an overall favorite. I had to pause & remain so bc too many of the dishes have become chicken based. I am NOT a chicken person as oh so many are. For multiple reasons. Once there r more fish options, beef, even turkey if we r talking bird, I will be a regular again. For now, it shall remain now & again
My husband and I had been enjoying Freshly for quite sometime now and we really love it. The meals are all delicious, very good proportioned and it really helps us save time from our busy schedule. My husband actually lost weight for just sticking to Freshly everyday for dinner when we usually cooked/ordered something that was either unhealthy or we ended ate too much! The only thing I would request is maybe to have more food options and add fish back to it. :)

I've been using Freshly for a while now. My main reason for trying Freshly is that I was not eating healthy enough on my own, and I didn't have time to cook. The meals are delicious and I find them filling, and I enjoy the variety of options. I have had shipping issues a couple of times where I didn't receive my meals or received incorrect meals, and customer service was quick to refund and give a discount for the next week. My only complaint is that as not a huge meat eater, there are not many options of meals without any meat. There used to be the same dish in a meat and meatless option, which I enjoyed for variety, as I don't like eating animal protein everyday. I do hope they will bring vegetarian options back and possible just make every meal available with or without meat. That would be ideal. Overall I would recommend if you're looking for easy, tasty, and healthy meals delivered to your door.

I'm in healthcare and work long. Because of this I tend to eat a lot of fast food. Freshly meals have taken the place of fast food and I feel I'm eating healthier. I also like the fact that the meals are gluten free.

I really like having fresh meals, and I know it'd be impossible to change everything week to week, but I'd love to have fully vegetarian options as well.

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
