I love the portion sizes and the variety of different spices. I do wish there was fish and seafood meals.
I tried many of the Freshly Meals and now order the ones that I like the most. I am willing to try new ones. I tend to go for less carbs and more protein. I like that my Freshly Meals have been convenient and affordable.

Over all good but occasionally some meals are very small. Sometimes have to eat something else after finishing the Freshly meal.

I think its awesome because I am not a cook. These meals are usually amazing. Still trying new things outside my normal comfort zone. Love the fact its just heat and eat, no prep work. If I had to pick a negative, the only thing I can come up with is maybe the price. Not that its not a great overall product and experience, just that its more pricier than I am used to paying for a meal.
I have enjoyed the ease and convenience of weekly delivery. The meals are tasty and very convenient. There is a pretty good selection to not repeat weekly but I find myself really enjoying certain items and reordering. My only comment would be to have more green veggies with each meal. However I can add it myself so it isn't a deal breaker for me.

Very good meals, always reliable, excellent support services. Everyone, did you read that? Excellent customer service. I've been with a few other companies; not very good customer service. Very easy to maneuver site. I think very good value. They need more fish options, veggies that hold up to the microwave and don't become overcooked, but all in all, oh, yeah, it's Freshly for us!

A Texas food delivery was not delivered. We had a difficult time tracking it ourselves so did the live chat. Marc E answered all of our questions and we were pleased that Freshly was generous to refund our money for this week. Great Customer Service - and food!

The main reasons I used Freshly was to facilitate eating healthier meals along with knowing how many nutrients I was getting per meal, and to avoid the hassle of grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning during the week. Only recommendation is that the meals size is a little on the small side, although this might be a personal preference.

We decided to try Freshly so we could save time and money with our dinners. We would buy groceries but then run out of time to use them all, and on top of that, would spend money on eating out. This is helping us eat at home almost everyday and we have been enjoying the meals. We have been receiving our shipping on time as scheduled. There are a few things I would improve with some of the meals but any time I have contacted customer service, they have been amazing. It's also easy to skip a week if you want to take a break or won't be home so I think it is low risk to try it out if you're interested.

The first two weeks were exciting because the first week I had 6 different choices to try and then the second another set of 6 choices to try. Some choices throughout the first weeks were good, others felt like a heap of mushy food. I'm a teacher so coming home to a supposedly home cooked meal that I didn't cook was like a huge relief.
The portions are small, not that I need huge as I'm also a Weight Watchers Leader and appreciate portioning. But I was left feeling like I needed something more, a salad or fruit. Freshly is expensive enough then to feel like you still have to shop to add to a meal is crazy, especially now not wanting to go out and shop! I thought Freshly was my answer to guaranteed food and no shopping!
After a few weeks I noticed the same Ol choices - then as times got shakey with the COVID 19 virus, many choices were then discontinued. This was very understandable! Yet, With that said, leaving same ol, same Ol that already felt like blah.
I'm in great hopes your company can steer toward healthier choices - meats, gravies, over cooked veggies aren't exciting! I am more is a clean eater, veggies and healthy choices! The pictures look better than the tiny positions we get!
I've skipped this next week and hope your company can catch up and add more choices for a clean eater!

Our portions are single serving and meant to feed one person, but I understand that we are all different and we have our own individual dietary preferences or needs, and so I'll be sure to pass along your feedback. We do try to add 1-2 new meals each week, while keeping most of our customers' favorites on our menu. 65 yo single employed... Freshly is my main source of quality food. I'm eating better than I ever did... and the convienence is a bonus. My meals are delivered to my door for less than $9 a meal!
PS: in my last order, my favorite (chicken tikki masala) had literally only 2 pieces of chicken in it... was my first disappointing experience.

I'm grateful to have these meals during this stay at home time. I feel that they are average in taste flavor & consistency. Nothing stands out as wow that was really delicious. They tend to be bland and mushy. I'm sorry I can't be more positive. I don't have suggestions on how you can improve.

The dinners are ok. Nothing outstanding except that someone else cooked them with ingredients I would use. AND they are delivered AND a reasonable price. I find the website very difficult to understand and to track my orders and when I have to have my next order in. Twice we have missed the deadline and ate the same meals the next week. And we have to have our order in before we have had a chance to eat the meals that have just come.

Hi - We use the service for my Dad. He loves it as he does not cook. However, you need to keep the fish items on the menu. He likes the cod cakes, liked the mahi mahi but it's gone now. Also many of the other meals he liked are gone... Low Country Boil, Sliced Beef Rustic Potato and Korean Style Shrimp.
I understand that many of the meals are seasonal, however, keeping some traditional meals on the menu instead of the "bowls" would be good for the older folks!

We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
