While the food taste great there is not a lot of variety. I am bored of having to order the same things. I like the program and cost and again pleased with the taste but having a bigger selection would make me order more often.
I love freshly's selection and it's amazing overall. Would recommend their services to anyone who is busy and needs good, clean meals delivered to their doorstep

It's bad enough to be worried about the virus but guess what? You never have to worry about dinner now that Freshly Food Service is here. And just when you think you know your favorites they come out with a new selection to enjoy. Thank you Freshly for all your work to make life easier for me.

Tried Freshly meals by reference from a friend of mine at work. I was very surprised by how delicious these meals are. Definitely does not have a "tv dinner" taste and feel. Ingredients are obviously fresh. All of the choices are wonderful. I have not had a meal I did not enjoy. Super easy. Super tasty. Convenient as all get out.
The meals have shipped fast and arrived on time fresh and cold. Good selection to choose from. Very happy with service and food.

Freshly is very timely and the options are pretty good. However, I'd still like to see more options including ones with more than just 40ish grams of protein for workouts. Also, some of the options are very inconsistent such as the buffalo chicken where the mashed potatoes/bacon often stick to the tray and are pretty gross, and the inclusion of tasteless sides such as beans or potatoes when it's usually unclear from the meal title alone that that's what will be included. It would be nice to maybe customize the secondary item/vegetable if possible.

I've been a customer of Freshly for about 9 months; usually, I'm ordering 6 meals every other week. Since I don't eat animal meat, except the birds (chicken and turkey), I'm a little limited with my options. However, they have a good selection even for me and presentation is great. I really like Honey Mustard Chicken Bowl, Chicken and Spring Pea Risotto, also many others seasonal items; if possible please add more new items to choose from.

I decided to try Freshly after spending a year or two trying other food delivery/cook at home systems. They were much too time consuming and as a single person I had to eat every recipe two to three times. For roughly the same price per meal, I get a much more variety in my weekly meals and my time back! I would highly recommend Freshly to anyone!

Freshly has been a huge blessing, especially during the coronavirus. They stay almost a week in the fridge, are made of super tasty wholesome ingredients, and cook in 2-3 minutes. They really are fantastic. 5-stars.

Food arrives in a timely manner and most of the meals are quite good. I couldn't ask for a more convenient service. The food is so much better than just frozen entrees & have a reasonable calorie content and plenty of veges with each meal.

I started Freshly at a time I needed it most. Life seemed to be twice as busy as usual and it was helpful to have precooked meals ready to heat and serve. I like that I can freeze them and save them for a few extra days. There are a number of options and I found that the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Steak have the best flavors. After a few months, it could get tiresome to order the same meals, but I do appreciate that they're trying to add new dishes. The price point can be a challenge sometimes, but perhaps in the future there will a pricing structure for those that order frequently. I am concerned about the plastic in the packaging. It would be great to see more earth-friendly materials.

Most dinners that I had I enjoyed very much. I tend to like spicy food. My husband prefers food that are not very spicy.

I have been very satisfied with my meals. They are easy to heat up and they taste great.

I have three small kids and tend to eat later at night after they are down to bed. I found myself eating less healthy options at night due to being tired and fatigued. The ease of heating up these meals help me to eat better. I also have been taking them to work, to curb the cost of eating out without a lot of meal prep or grocery shopping. It has been a good option for me.

Answer: Hi Marc, Thanks for your inquiry! At this time we change one meal per week, typically. We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
