I had to cancel my Freshly order for this week. Fritz jumped on the "Chat" and within a few minutes had resolved the issue. In addition to terrific meals, Freshly delivers 5-Stars in customer service
My meals did not arrive even though the shipping notice said they did. It was nice to get instant customer service from the live chat, even at 10:00 pm. Christopher, the customer service rep was apologetic and polite. Even though there was no way to replace our missing order he was able to credit us our next order. Overall, excellent customer service.

I forgot to skip my delivery for the week of Thanksgiving and figured I wouldn't have an option to cancel. After reaching out, I got connected to Leonah who was very professional and quick! I am very happy with my experience and will continue using the service (on weeks I am not going out of town :) )!

A delivery to my mother was a day late, my mother refused the delivery when it arrived the next day because she was concerned that it may not have stayed cold enough. I worked on this issue with Pheter and it was quickly resolved to my satisfaction.

I received my 11/20 delivery today and 3 of the 6 meals were wrong. I used the chat feature to contact Fest and Chelle was the Rep that responded to my chat. She quickly determined the wrong orders was dropped off and immediately refunded this weeks order and contacted the other person to let them know what happened. I just feel bad for the other person since, although we did have 3 meals in common! Thank you Chelle for the friendly & fast service!

I have recently become very frustrated with the new, all bad packaging change to the freshly meal deliveries. The older packaging was clean, simple, sturdy, and very recyclable. The paperboard was free of unnecessary bleach and had minimal ink printing, making it easy to shred and compost. The black plastic trays were sturdy and rigid and the lining never peeled off when the film was removed. The new packaging is inferior to all of those attributes, as if someone in the packaging dept was intentionally trying to make a worse product. The plastic and bleach and unnecessary images printed on the paperboard render it uncompostable, garish, and frankly it creates a disappointing disconnect between the picture perfect food on the label and the actual meal within the box. I just want freshly made prepackaged meals, not disappointment. On top of that, the new white plastic trays are extremely flimsy, and the plastic lining within the tray peels up every single time the film is removed. This creates quite a mess with more liquid meals involving gravy or green beans. The flimsy, messy trays have the audacity to have "go green" embossed on the bottom despite being a bleached version of the same polypropylene as the black trays. It is not "going green" to waste food from the tray collapsing in the hand almost every time. Please undo this terrible, terrible mistake and restore Freshly to its rightful state as a manufacturer and distributor of high quality, no frills prepared meals without excessive marketing nonsense on the package. We've already purchased the food, you delivered it to us, we don't need further enticement.

I'm disappointed that herb slathered pork chops are gone but Pheter told it like it is in a clear timely manner. I didn't have to put up with a canned answer that didn't relate to my question.
I'm saddened to hear your favorite meal already bid its farewell but no worries, our menu is customer-driven, this means we use customers' feedback to determine both which meals should be removed from our menu over time but also what types of meals customers are interested in ordering! Delicious meals. Decided to cancel my subscription for budget reasons. Accidentally cancelled specific meals instead of the whole plan and got charged a few weeks down the line. Went to chat with an agent and got a refund and cancellation confirmation within 30 seconds. No questions asked. THIS is how to do customer service.

Answer: Hi Marc, Thanks for your inquiry! At this time we change one meal per week, typically. We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!
Answer: Hi Steven, Thank you for your interest in Freshly! We are a weekly subscription service, so you would be charged for, and delivered meals on a weekly basis. However, you can select to skip weeks, or cancel your subscription at anytime! These changes would just need to be made prior to your weekly deadline, which is outlined in your Welcome Email, Reminder Emails, and in your Meal Planner. I hope this helps!
Answer: Our meals are prepared and shipped out from our kitchen in Phoenix.:-) For Arizona deliveries we use FedEx.
Answer: The delivery window they give us is between 9am and 9pm. We package the meals to be safe for 2 days transit time, plus safe to sit outside for up to 12 hours upon delivery.:-)
Answer: Hi Nancy! We do not cook meals based on other programs' guidelines at this time. We're not overly concerned with calorie counts, but more concerned with where calories come from. Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. First and foremost, I'd like to inform you that we're a weekly subscription service, which means you'll receive meals weekly, and get charged weekly as well. Here are the steps to follow while signing up: 1 - Add your email address and zip code in the sign-up box on our homepage. ( www.Freshly.com) 2 - Pick your meal plan. Just keep in mind that our meals have a shelf life of about 5 days unless frozen. 3 - Pick your delivery day from the available dates! The specific day of the week will be your weekly delivery day unless changed. 4 - Select your delicious meals from our 30+ selections. 5 - Add your contact info, payment details, and delivery address.

You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. You'll want to reheat the meal to an inner temperature of 165° F.)

We can deliver Tuesday-Saturday in Southern Illinois--deliveries can occur between 8am-9pm depending on the carriers route for the day. While carrier delays are out of the norm, weather-related issues, road closures, driver confusion, etc. can wreak havoc. We have a dedicated delivery team that works directly with our carriers to ensure successful deliveries, and we're always sure to compensate when delays arise. We certainly hope this helps! Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
