I opened an account with them and tested small amounts in sending and receiving, it worked very well. As soon as I wanted to send a large amount, they blocked my account for verification and did not give a clear deadline.

I made video captures of the account in case everything disappears.

I was in a rush and needed a wallet so I googled free wallet. Well guess what, Google returned FreeWallet.org. I deposited about $387 and needed to send it out quick, but I chose the normal speed which costs $32. It would have been $22 if I waited a couple of hours and I don't care to know how much it would have cost to send quickly. Bitcoin is a ripoff anyway with transaction fees. So a $400 initial deposit became $350 in a matter of minutes because everyone now specializes in doing nothing for a profit.

They removed secondary confirmation without notifying the change!
My account got hacked and transferred to another internal account in freewallet system!
I lost over $3600 worth of assets

Don't bother, send cash in the mail instead this is so poor and the support is awful. Do not use, use crypto.com or anyone else. Freewallet isn't a scam its just really poor technically cant even deliver an email properly

Been using this wallet for years for mining. Only had one problem where they randomly changed my eth deposit address without warning or notification. Took a little back and forth, but they were able to recover the missing coins after I provided the block chain proof of the funds being transferred to the wallet.

I recently purchased a hardware wallet and tried to move my coins over to it. But, they froze my account and demanded some very invasive documents to prove my identity. Against my better judgment I provided the requested documents. Since then, I keep getting the response that it's being worked on, and to just wait. They can not tell me how long it's going to take or where I am in line. They can't even tell me how long it takes on average other than "it can take a couple days to several weeks!" Unacceptable. There are plenty of stories on the internet where it's taken months to get their rightfully owned coins back.

Not your keys, not your coins! Remember that and learn from my mistake.

Also very interesting that their app is removed from the Google play store... again...

What can I say, I was satisfied with the wallet, no matter how you look at it. Even though there were troubles, they were rather one-time phenomena than something permanent. The rest of the time, Freewallet was completely ready to use, and made transfers without any problems and difficulties. That is, it was fast, it was efficient and successful.
As for the safety of money, I can say unequivocally that everything is in order. I don't know how they do it, but more than a year has passed and I have no complaints about this.

This is a simple wallet with powerful functionality.
