I would say they are the worst. I deposited the sum of $120,000 into my account, tried swapping it from Doge coin to Usdc and it was showing pending. This took weeks, I contacted their support but no definite response was given on what will happen to my money.

I was so furious and reported the case to FCA, them #c la imsat coin -diligence# who then stepped in and resolved it immediately.

I have closed my account with ~bybit~ and I would never use them again.

I'm done with Bybit. This platform is a total waste of time and feels straight-up dishonest. I'm a legitimate user from Sri Lanka (Negombo), which is not on their restricted countries list (US, China, Canada, etc. are blocked – Sri Lanka is fully allowed). No VPN, no multi-accounts, clean activity – I completed every single task in their promotion/rewards program in good faith.
Here's what happened step-by-step (all proof saved with screenshots):

Completed all required tasks waited for rewards to be credited.
Got an email: "Not eligible – violated Terms of Service."
Contacted support (live chat/ticket): Agent checked and said NO violation, escalated the case.
Later email: "Violation confirmed, no appeal allowed."
Saw Bybit reps on Trustpilot offering explanations went back to live chat with case ID #*******.
Agent again said NO violation, escalated AGAIN.
Today (January 18,2026), another email: "Violated terms – no rewards, final decision."

Weeks of back-and-forth with completely opposite answers from different agents. Zero specific details – no section of terms they claim I broke, no evidence, just vague "violation" nonsense. They waste your time with endless "escalations" that lead nowhere.
This is not isolated. Tons of similar complaints on Reddit (r/Bybit, r/CryptoCurrency) and Trustpilot: rewards denied for "violation" without proof, support flips between "no issue" and "banned forever," no real help.
Bybit, if you're reading this:

Explain exactly what term I violated (with proof) or credit my rewards immediately.
Stop the runaround – it's fraudulent behavior.

Avoid Bybit if you value your time, money, or sanity. They lure you in with promotions, make you complete tasks, then arbitrarily deny rewards with zero transparency. This is one of the worst exchanges I've dealt with – full of contradictions and poor support.

If not intervention of CipherTraces, I would have lost everything. So on the 21st of December 2025, I fell victim to a caller claiming to be an official representative from Metamask. They insisted that my wallet had been compromised and that I should move all my assets to another secure wallet until they rectify the issue. They took off 22k worth of USDT from my wallet. And after waiting two days of no communication with them, I had to call in CipherTraces to intervene with blockchain forensic analysis that retrieved all my usdt for good.

I deposited funds on 6th November, and the transaction was rejected due to Bybit's own reason, not mine. Since then, the refund process has been a nightmare.

Bybit repeatedly told me the refund would take 7–14 working days, yet even after the 14-day timeline passed, there was no refund, no update, and no accountability. Instead, they continued sending the same copy-paste template, ignoring every email and every detail I provided.

My case #******* has been open far longer than promised, and Bybit has failed to follow their own timeline. This is not just bad service — it shows a complete lack of responsibility when handling customer funds.

A financial exchange holding people's money should NOT:

Ignore customers,

Repeat automated replies,

Break their own deadlines,

And provide zero real action.

If Bybit cannot resolve a simple refund that THEY rejected, how can anyone trust them with anything larger?

Extremely disappointed and warning others to be very careful before depositing money with this platform.

Scary recent happenings find it crazy that people are still backing them and they keep pushing the complaint of stolen funds in the back of their minds it's high time we step up I did with my title recovered and happier for it today.

I used p2p, now 11 days after the "buyer aka scammer" paid and still nothing, bank transfers take 1-3days NEVER 11, yet, i had to provide them with proof after proof after proof, so far they have got the following out of me! 5 VIDEOS OF THINGS THEY ASK U TO DO LIKE LOGIN TO BANK APP ETC, 4 PICTURES OF EVERY PAYMENT THAT CAME IN/OUT, AND A WHOPPING 130PDF FILES FROM MY BANK OFFICIAL RECEIPTS THIS IS! AND STILL NOTHING STILL GETTING SCAMMED LOOKS TO ME LIKE BYBIT IS HELPING/AIDING THE SCAMMER MORE THAN ME! BYBIT FULL OF SCAMMERS, IF U GET SCAMMED NO HELP WILL COME U WILL LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY EVEN IF U DID NOT INVEST IT!

I transferred a large amount to Bybit on September 27,2025 and due to verification difficulties it said the credit would be credited within 7 days, but that has not happened today (February 12,2025) and I have not received a response to my emails to support. Kudos to the team of private investigators who were able to solve my case and get my money back. I will be happy to share more about my procedures to help any victim of this company. Sou trader e opero pela bybit faz algum tempo e nunca tive tais desçabores, mas hoje dia 03 de fevereiro vivi o pior cenário que se possa imaginar, tendo em conta que é uma exchange e ela trabalha com finanças, seriedade devia ser um cartão de visita quando se trata de preocupações como estas.
Eu estava operando em margem spot cruzada (10x), alguns minutos antes do evento adicionei mais capital para evitar qualquer risco de liquidação. Minha margem de manutenção estava em 65%, ou seja, não havia risco de fechamento.

De repente, minha posição SUMIU sem aviso, o criptoativo não sofreu uma volatilidade brusca, e o mais estranho, não há NENHUM registro no histórico de negociações ou ordens. O ilógico nesse caso? Ainda tenho $1000 de empréstimo ativo, o que não faz sentido se a posição foi fechada, minha conta teria sido completamente zerada já que fui liquidada.
Já entrei em contato com o suporte da Bybit, mas até agora sem resposta.
Isso parece um erro crítico da plataforma.

Bybit exchange attracts new customers by spreading deliberately false advertising. For example, I was offered a reward of 10 USDT for registration, passing KYC and making a deposit of $100. After I fulfilled these conditions and tried to collect 10 USDT, an error notification popped up, and then all mention of these unfortunate 10 USDT disappeared altogether. The support team first started lying that the task was allegedly not completed on time, to which they provided evidence of their lies. Then they came up with a new excuse, like the reward reserve was exhausted. But then in this case, why deceive the client by slipping him a dummy? After all, the task did not say anywhere that it was a lottery, but, on the contrary, it was clearly stated: top up the deposit from $100 - get 10 USDT. Below my review there will be a response from the absolutely useless Bybit support, about how sorry they are (they don't really care) with a suggestion to contact support to solve any problems (in fact it is absolutely useless, they are not able to solve any problems).

They wrongfully accused me of abnormal transactions and refused to let me appeal, effectively robbing me of $1,400. The lack of transparency and customer support is astounding. It's clear they don't care about their users, only about grabbing money under dubious pretenses. I strongly advise against using Bybit – it's a trap where you risk your assets with no recourse or fair treatment! Beware, they're nothing but thieves in a digital disguise.

They've told me my account is restricted, but they do not have to tell me why. The list goes on. DO NOT USE Bybit. There are other, far more trustworthy, responsive platforms out there. I wish I'd never heard of Bybit before, they have contributed to major financial hardship, and stress in my life. Ayrlp.
