Sandra was very helpful: she quickly understood my issue and provided a clear, timely solution that resolved the problem. Great help!
I am working on freelancer from several years now! I tried other online platforms also but I guarantee freelancer is best to work online. Great policies and best client protection!
I love Freelancer <3
Charlotte B. Is an amazing and supportive person. She immediately responded and understood exactly what was happening. And after analyzing the issue she immediately took ownership to control the situation.
Thanks again Charlotte!
Freelancer is a great opportunity for making a decent living from the comfort of your home. For clients it is the easiest way to find the perfect candidate for your fantastic projects.
Lately, I had two projects where I sent the file that was asked from me and the client stopped responding. Milestones were created, so I know I can create a dispute and wait for resolution, but I wanted to know why is that happening to me. I was worried that it might have something to do with my account, I thought maybe something was wrong with my profile. Anastasia D. Was very helpful and explained that nothing was wrong and that she will send a notification to those employers and that I can file a dispute for both projects.
I was very pleased with information I got and I feel relieved that I have nothing to worry about. I will patiently wait for resolution, knowing that I finished both projects and delivered files that my clients asked from me.
Freelancer.com is providing excellent opportunity to freelancers while best human resources to the employers at the same time.
I'm very pleased with the site all the process of getting projects is easy enough. A thing I noticed is that every bit of effort to improve your profile pays off. When I became preferred freelancer it became even better with bigger projects and winning potential clients for the future. Although I work alone I became friends with other people on the site and we are helping each other, so all in all 5 stars.
Now I take little work from this website - but I get EXACTLY the kind of work i want. As someone who shifted from a job to a freelance writer, not knowing what would happen next - freelancer.com was the best choice. Sure, I started slow but when I proved my worth to my clients, I got paid more and more. Through this website, I learned that I could market myself and through a simple email marketing campaign, I started landing jobs. Though I dont take a lot of work from this site now - If I had to do it all over again, I would start again with freelancer.com
Really helpful in resolving my issue with client and easy to communicate with, understanding.

I've worked on several different freelancing platforms, of which I prefer Freelancer. It seems to have the most flexibility for both clients and freelancers, as well as the best range of available projects and freelancers. That said, as it continues to grow and expand, not all of the changes are always for the best. For that reason, some of the best freelancers have left the site (and may continue to do so), because sometimes regular work elsewhere (even if just for yourself, of your own site) is better than the hassles of freelance work, even on the best of platforms. In particular, finding good regular clients on the platform can be a struggle for many freelancers, and for employers, finding freelancers who actually hold the skill they say they do can also be difficult. That is likely the case on any platform - but if Freelancer wants to stay the best, they are issues the platform will need to do a better job of addressing.
I was nothing few years back. A ordinary salaried person. Freelancer recognized my talent and hard work. Now I have my own company with a great team. I will always be greatful to Freelancer for providing me safe working environment with great employers. If you are honest, hard working and have your work ethics, then Freelancer is the place you should be. If needed, I can write a complete directory praising Freelancer and it's team. A loyal and die hard fan of freelancer...
I have been working on Freelancer for five years. I have never regretted my decision to leave a full-time job and become a freelancer.
The thing I like the most about Freelancer is that it has been constantly changing, improving, and growing. We expect it any moment to become an official news.
Freelancer will hit 25M users any moment now! There are 25 Million reasons why Freelancer is the biggest platform for freelancers in the world.
I couldn't possibly recommend it more to both newbie and experienced freelancers.
Freelancer.com is a trustworthy earning platform. I am working here for last 6 years and didn't face any scam or inconvenience, neither with Staff nor with any employer/freelancer here. Payments are secured. They provide several opportunities to get yourself established on the site. I highly recommend this site as your full time earning source.
I have been working on freelancer for about 2 years and it has been an exciting journey. The staff tries to help in case of dispute but it is really hard to get a fair deal. I have been doing jobs of my interest and I have really learned a lot.
It's been more then a year. We guys are working here as an agency. Freelancer is the best platform for IT projects. Their support team will guide you each and every step till you are done.
Freelancer is good for getting clients when you don't have other projects on your desk.
Sometimes you have to weed through a lot of junk projects, and most employers want projects done for far below market value; however, sometimes you can find a diamond in the rough.
I loves to work on freelancer.com I m earning good $$$ monthly & increasing day by day on my earnings. Thanks
Simply they has gave us the chance to work using our skills for the entire world.
Being millions of active members each day, I have many chances to continue working with different employers, day by day.
No more routine acceding to lots of different projects and I'd like this... the routine bored me.
Thanks, with no doubt!
We're a small software dev company based out of Pakistan, and we have done all our business entirely through Freelancer. I'm incredibly grateful to Freelancer for providing us great opportunity to start our company. Freelancer support is incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend their platform.
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
