In love with this site. Have been using this site as a freelancer as well as a client for more than 4 years now. I have come across so many awesome people around the world because of this website.
Through my long working career, either on online or any other place, I found out that Freelancer is the best and greatest place for work. Everything goes easily and smoothly.
Got good tech skill? Then earning online is not tough. Freelancer is the right choice. Appreciate support team and recruiters. Also the policies are framed with proper ethics. Overall great and reliable experience so far
I am working over Freelancer for the past 4 years. I must say its an excellent platform and now I am become preferred Freelancer and getting more project invites. Must say Thanks to Freelancer for providing us such a great platform to earn a easy money. Thanks
I am very happy to be part of freelancer.com. I always wanted to be very good freelancer and freelancer.com gave me all the oppertunity to do this. I am in the way to achieve more. Good luck.
Freelancer.com provides me opportunities to work, learn and earn globally. Thank you Freelancer.com..
Almost all issues are resolved. The things which is mentioned all are perfectly working now. This is best step from freelancer to get feedback from workers regsrding ios.
Actually, my freelancing career started through Freelancer only. I slowly built up and today I get many jobs here.
I find a very unique thing at freelancer. The quest for improvement. Its like its DNA. You notice an area of improvement, and after a while you will that change being implemented on the site. Not once, not twice, many a times.
Corporate account, chat feature, call feature, multiple language site, payment options, well list is really long. So many things added.
The aggression, the pace reflects.
Well, not everything is good. I encountered a few issues too. Comparing them with the benefits, they are not that important. Still.
And the one area perhaps needing focus is support. For standard issues, they are quick and easy to deal with. But the issues where decision making is required, they really are not good enough.
For example- I was awarded a project. Money sent to milestone system by employer. I delivered the job and when i saw the milestone, the money was not there. I came to know that money was funded thru fraud/wrong credit card. And thus milestone sent back. Well. Happens. But. But you deducted project fee on that case. That was doubling my trouble. I worked for a full day for no money, and thereafter i paid fee. And i was not at any fault. In such cases, forget legal aspects, be true and concerned. If so happens in future, I see this place leaping forward only.
Hope my review helps
I've been on Freelancer for just over seven years now and I have to say they are to thank for helping develop my graphic/web design path to where it is now. After I was awarded my first project, the jobs just kept rolling in to the point I was able to turn what was once something I did in my off-hours to a profitable full-time career, and it only developed further when I was invited into their Preferred Freelancer program.
Now I have access to high paying projects and clients from around the globe who have made me an integral part of their branding and communication operations. I cannot thank Freelancer.com enough for their support in getting me this far.
Happy with employers professionalism, work quality and also suitable in time zone, would like to work more adn more in this platform.
There was a problem about balance in my account, and the supporter solved it quick and professionally. Great job.

I love Freelance job. I work hard and ready to get milestone and good rating from freelancer.com so it's full career for everyone
Handled well in time and on purpose. Great initiative by freelancer having such a great staff. Lets make freelancer great :) Thanks, Brian, you doing great job :)
I am getting projects from freelancer since 2009, it's one of the best Marketplace ever as per my experience.
As a preferred provider, I receive many direct contacts from FL'er for specific project requests for which I am grateful. While many of the contacts I receive from FL recruiters are for relevant skills, more than a few are for skills completely unrelated to my profile and abilities.
I simply x out of the ones that are irrelevant and move on. But, it sure seems like a waste of time for the individual recruiters. Just sayin'...
FL is a good tool for finding new clients, connecting with repeat clients and for advancing my online work load.
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
