He was very friendly and Helpful. I need him Again. He was awesome!
I have tried to work with Freelancer a couple of times but just to make me regret of wasting my time.
Never seen a place with so scams contracts and awful job propose.
Anyone can do an account there and post a job, so you can easily see where this goes...
Is not secure at all. I have some money stuck there that I cant withdraw.
Just a waste of time. Sadly.
Noelle was very professional and helpful. Hopefully the matter will be solved
Hello Team,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank "Ms. Marina B." for processing my refund. The customer service representative that I spoke with was both considerate and professional. The refund was processed very quickly. I do sincerely appreciate the effort. While I understand that most companies try to avoid chargebacks (reversal of funds transferred) at all costs, due to the fees involved and other negative results, I have not always had funds returned as quickly as I have with this effort. Thank you again Marina!!!
I hope her Manager will surely drop an appreciation email to her.
I had a great support from your team Mr. Hachiro, he helped to solve the issue in a quick time. He has very good knowledge in understanding the customer problems and addressing it politely.
Noelle is a person who are really helpful guy and I contact with him/her for Identity Verification. I got excellent experienced from him/her. Fast communicative person. Thanks!
Although it took some time that could be skipped easily and clearly, the executive supported well. He understood that situation and helped me out.
Thank you Kelvin R.
I was having trouble understanding how did the Finance board worked but i asked for assistance and it didn't took long to reply and they explained very clearly what i needed to know.
Their customer support is top-notch. Had an issue with withdrawing some of my funds and they were very helpful and responsive throughout the entire process
I am really satisfied with the service of the support team of Freelancer.com. Received response within a single day and solve the issue. Whenever any freelancer face issue contact with the freelancer support team. Thank you
The Aussi support team is very helpful but given how many freelancers are desperately seeking money, they often promise and then let you down. This can be tremendously disappointing.
Their algorithm also can cause issues (If I ran the company, I'd include unlimited server space and a Skype/Zoom interface to make it more efficient. Especially if native English isn't exactly native.).
I appreciate the need business-wise to eliminate offline dialogues (although roughly half of FL's try to trick the algo and use an alternate payment system. The other half bid $1 and then say - post acceptance of a project "so what's the budget like a child wanting his allowance"). The budget is your bid. No matter what. And you better have the qualifications to Do.Your.Job).
There are gems in the masses but sometimes you must hire 2-4 people to find 1 honorable person.
I believe in honesty, accountability and optimisation. I expect as much from Freelancers.
Good luck!
(for the record IDC about paying through the platform or not. I'm paying the same amount either way for the convenience. Many Freelancers get very upset. Not my problem)
Freelancer is very responsive to contact us, back when we were need their help.
Thank you to Eula R.
I had an unsolvable inability to re-set my e-mail address, and your Eula solved it instantly. Five stars.
I lost my money few days ago as a project fee from the account and freelancer team especially Ms. Emeline L help me to resolve my issue and refund my amount in a short time.
I really appreciate team for the support.
Excellent and quick turnaround time on Service Tickets created by client. Well Done Chelsea.
I mistakenly created a milestone (project) while trying to release funds held in escrow to pay the first installment. Josie G. Helped resolve the issue promptly. My issue was followed up, clarifies and I was advised how to resolve it.
Freelancer.com is an excellent site for online projects. I contacted support for an issue I was having and got the best virtual assistance I could imagine. I really feel calm working on this platform because there is an excellent team of professionals behind my screen.
I had an issue with some 'employer' she has been threating me. As soon as I get in contact with freelancer support team, they made me relieved and helped me out about the issue. That means a lot. I am and will be appreciated to the staff of freelancer. Thank you one more time!
I'm a frequent user of Freelancer.com. They have an honest and fair customer support that evaluates issues and helps reach reasonable solutions for everyone. When you have billing or financial issues, they respond within a few days and generally resolve all issues professionally. Fast growing website but still has the heart of a startup. Great work!
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
