Benny S. Helped me with all my questions, also with a refund.
Keep up the good work.
Thank you very much.
I recently joined Freelancer.com, as a employee and those guys make a good job to clarify for me the fees and taxes and everything of that nature. Thank you Benny!
I wish I could rate them in negative. The freelancer.com team is pathetic, unprofessional and highly inefficient in every single way. Every time I create a support ticket, it literally takes several weeks to get the issue resolved. However, this time they tried my patience like anything. 9 weeks and every day I get the same 'Sorry, we know how frustrating it is' response from them alongwith a warning that this ticket will be closed in another 24 hours if I dont respond back to their totally useless messages and excuses. Every single day I am answering them just to keep the ticket open and despite of umpteen efforts, they are just not bothered to resolve the ticket. There are over 20 representatives on the ticket and everyone is just beating around the bush doing nothing and wasting my time every single day. I want to see to what extent they will go to test my patience and how much more time they will take to resolve the issue. Its a good marketplace to get new projects and beneficial for both the freelancers as well as freelancer.com as they charge a good amount of commissions for each project but their support team has tested my patience big time. Despite of premium membership, they don't bother to give a good service experience to their freelancers so that they may concentrate on bringing more projects on the table which is ultimately going to benefit them only.
Josie was very helpful in helping me deal with my membership. I really appreciated all her help and efforts,
Freelancer.com is full of fake jobs, one can hardly find an appropriate project! This is so frustrating. Further, I have never asked the support team any question via e-mail and gave me the final solution Their answers are always open, and they add nothing to me. The only thing they do is that they attach articles! Even though I at once asked a question and asked not to attach articles, since I read them but did not get it well, I found articles on their replies. It is actually not the perfect platform to work on, so bad experience.
Another thing is the ID verification, I added the required information many times and I am always rejected! How can I approve my ID! And, I asked the support team over chat and they make it even harder!
And there is no badge, only preferred freelancers, which is paid! And has tough conditions to have.
This is not everything, yet! I actually started to hate this platform! Too much
I recently joined Freelancer.com, which is a site to help employers and freelancers reach out thier goals. I would recommend using this site for all people who want to work or get work done. Recently, I had some problems with employers on Freelancer.com. I contacted the support and they were very helpful. Their assistance saved me from being rubbed! They were also fast. But I had a problem that I didn't receive notification for their response, or maybe I just didn't notice it, because I received a notification on my email for the second response. If you have any problems using Freelancer.com I recommend visiting Freelancer Support on this link https://www.freelancer.com/support/?ngsw-bypass=&w=f try searching your problem on the Help Center. If you didn't find the question or answer you want, you can scroll down to Cantact Us option, click on it and write your question(s). The Costumer Support Team will then respond to you.
Nice support man. Thank you very much. Appreciate it mason
Freelance support team response is so bad they are not understanding the conditions and not reviewed properly before replying any clauses.
Situation: As service organisation we ready to serve our clients but response is must. We bid and accept the work as per post. But after acceptance client was unresponsive. If client gave no response then we are not liable to pay any organisation. But the clause of to pay bidding amount to freelancer team whether client unresponsive and no authority to service organisation to cancel the project for unresponsive reason not think a good clause.
Raven B. Was really helpful in understanding my questions and giving me great answers. Thumbs up for Raven
Jessica B was very sympathetic
I hope there will be no more problems for me
If that happens then I'll definitely want Jessica B to help me again
He was very polite, enthusiastic and professional
She made me happy today.
I was having problem with one of my ex-employer (it turns out it's a scam project) and Robyn from the support team explains everything to me and giving me advice in taking Freelancers' projects. Thank you, it's been really helpful and I'm glad I asked.
I had an issue with the payments system, and Kelvin walked me through it, which was very helpful. He answered all my questions.
My issue was resolved nicely and he was extremely helpful.
I was having great difficulty because of my address and my joint bank account. At first i felt like i was going around in a circle but eventual members of the team were able to show why we will always need humans behind our machines. The matter was cleared up after i provided all the information that they requested and today i received my withdrawal. I thank them greatly for their patience, understanding and for following through to the end.
Awesome Support Experience with Robyn G. At Freelancer.com
Speedy in responding with attention to detail. Extremely satisfied. Keep up the good work Josie! Awesome support experience
I got an issue for one project and thought it was a scam but fortunately I got a quick response from general support through chat name Mr. Raven B. He gave me consistent feedback and guidance how to deal the project through the terms and condition since I am a newbie here. Kudos to your customer service Mr. Raven B.
I would like to thank you for your great support on solving my issues. Very fast and prompt solution I got from you.
A little bit late to connect to representative. But support is great.
Freelancer has a Monthly dormant account fee taken (USD) if you have a balance and don't sign in or something like that. I never received a email notice about this change -- they refunded my dormant fees -- so I can use that money in Freelancer again. Seriously... I was impressed - most companies would say "too bad, so sad"..
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
