I'm facing hard issue that delay almost 5 days but I meet Sabrina G. And my issue is solved well. I recommend Sabrina G. Really 5+ support.
Freelancer will find any and every excuse not to pay the freelancer/contractor for their time. They will claim this is for security reasons and to avoid being involved in criminal schemes such as money laundering and terrorism. Yet, they take their commissions immediately when the client pays, then force you to wait. And wait. And wait some more. I made the mistake of bringing a client to Freelancer.com. I did all the work and can't get them to pay a simple $4000 withdrawal. They took almost $500 in commission though. And have complete control over my funds. I will be reporting them to the BBB and to anyone who might be able to find out if they're actively involved in fraud concerning their freelancers.
Hi there! I am a Professional Graphics & Logo designer with over 4 years industry experience in design industry. The design is a huge part of my life and I work hard to produce the highest quality, effective, innovative, timeless, designs that my clients will love and I would love to work with you...
Handled my issue very efficiently. Took care of a membership billing problem.
I can say with all simplicity that my doubt was resolved very quickly and I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the support.
Lauren D. Made me feel very comfortable in knowing that she would get the answer to any of my questions no matter how big or small.
Lauren D. Had been patiently awaiting my questions and answers. Also, very confident in what she does.
I truly appreciate the assistance given. Thank you very much
At 3:59pm today I submitted a tecket regarding an "unrecognized Charge Inquiry" and I was impressed to receive responses (and resolution) by e-Mail(s) at 5:46pm, 5:53pm and 5:55pm.
Since I joined freelance my experience has been good. I had not managed to succeed in winning a bid but the first one I got left me disappointed. I however appreciate and applaud the support team for their help. I have now regained my confidence in working as a freelance and I look forward to getting more bids.
I have also encountered dealing with fraudsters who pose as potential employers and ask for a fee before giving the job claiming that the fee is security fee. Does this really apply in freelance? They also insist that all communication should be on email which of course raises suspicion.
Thank you very much for your help and assisting in restoring my confidence in continuing to work as a freelancer.
I made a mistake by combining the request for a brand design (logo, colors, etc.) and creating the corresponding website in one single contest. Jethro M. Was very helpful and understanding and gave me a total refund and suggested to separate the two jobs into a contest (design) and the website (project).
Thanks a lot!
It really great experience with Jessica B. Mam, then answer of all my question and solved it my query.
I had a terrible experience upon getting hired. In fact I had even invested in getting the premium. But to add on with the bad hirers I encountered, i was even taken aback with the deposit that Freelancer took upon "accepting" the job.
My suggestion is not to take the deposit so soon. Give a buffer for the newbie to learn the system.
However after numerous customer service representatives i dealt with in getting back my refunds, i am pleased that i dont need to repeat my issue over and over again to every representative. So thank you for the smooth delivery in getting my refunds team. Well done.
Very professional.
Support Team is very responsive to my emails.
My account was disabled and I appealed. The support team was very responsive and gave me a fast solution within a day. Very thankful for their support.
Debra was super helpful, she offered 3 different ways for me to resolve my issue.

It was really good experience, and Josie G. Was so quick in resolving the issue for me
English: They took away the prize from the first contest I won on this platform, because I accepted another contest that was fraud and I decided to decline it.
It does not seem fair to me but at least I no longer have a negative balance. I'm at zero again.: /
Spanish: Me quitaron el premio del primer concurso que gano en esta plataforma, porque acepté otro concurso que era fraude y decidí declinarlo.
No me parece justo pero al menos ya no tengo saldo negativo. Ya estoy en ceros otra vez. :/
Friendly and helpful, god bless her.
He help me to get my problem resolved, excellent and very friendly service.
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
