Thanks for your assist. He helped me much. I will ask more questions If I have.
Thank you!
It is literally amazing choice, especially when you have a passion for the skills you want to be paid for. It allows us to, enhance our skills with earning, it shape our work day as you see fit and work with some amazing clients on some fantastic and interested projects.
However, it is hard work, especially in the first few months and years but after that duration we got the relaxing work with freelancer.
I want to say thanks as i am 3 years old in freelancer and i got the project but i have to spend some more time with freelamcer.
Thanks you.
I had a good experience, finding solutions that would benefit me as a freelancer
It's review of freelancer customer service.
I like it.
But need to be improve this on customer service level and also need to do something on fake accounts.
The Freelancer representative was amazing and provided all the information in very detail and professionally.
I have been 4 years working at Freelancer Platform. I was able to select job or working that suit me. That gave me a freedom working vibe. On Freelancer, worker able to be a boss. Setting payment, timeline according to worker schedule. Have negotiation ability.
The support from the freelancing team is so good that you feel at home. They will ask questions and clear any doubts and even give you discounts on services. All you gotta do is ask. As a freelancer, I had my first career break in here so I am very grateful. Wish you the best of luck.
En 1 día atendieron mi inquietud y solicitud! Yo estoy muy agradecido de soporte!
Good. Response received reversal of charges didn't face any problems
Freelancer have very good customer service executive. They solved the problem within 24 hours. Helpful.
I had made 21 bids so far
Only 1 bid was awarded to me but did not pay me after the work since I refused to give him my credit card number.
Another communication was from 5 different people who asked me to pay a security fee before I can start any work.
Of course, I refused since I have been fooled before...
I really don't know what to say.
I think the atmosphere is full of thieves from all over the world who take advantage of naïve people.
Since I've been a member for few days I will wait till I finish 1 month and see how things go.
However; if I do not get actual bids, I really do not think I would continue after this free month is over.
Please be acknowledged.
Thank you for your cooperation
Mohammad
Very good customer support agent, answer my question clearly and help my with my problem
Kelvin was a really helpful assistant. Found a solution to my problem and made sure everything was ok. Also gave me some precious advice about the work ethic inside Freelancer and some details to be attentive about. I rate this assistance chat 5 stars. Thank you.
I just got my first project, but I was curious if its scam. So I discuss it first with freelancer customer service. He give me clear information and very helpfull
Karylle A. Of Freelancer support services (chat) was attentive and prompt in addressing my concerns/queries even though I met with a scammer online who purportedly granted me a project but then wanted a security deposit!
I'm new here at freelancing.com and was overwhelmed by a "too good to be true" offer. I've accepted the project thinking it was legit but when I've contacted them outside the platform, they are requesting me to deposit a security fund before I can start on to the project. They've said it's refundable. It's a clear SCAM. I needed the help from the customer service since I was already charged for the 10% commission but I had to cancel this scam project. Thankfully Jessica was the assigned CSR to me. A little chat and she knows already what help I needed. In a span of less than a minute to 1 or two. She already refunded the 10% tagged on my account and blocked the scammer.
Feedback was instant and very helpful by the support team. Raised my concern of how I was contacted by a scammer and how my membership was renewed without my knowledge
I asked "Due to some reason, A dispute placed by my buyer and the dispute resolved with my non response to the dispute. But Later, I did the work and buyer paid Pound 75 as we agreed. Is it possible to open the feedback option to mark the project as complete?"
I got Answer "Oh okay, yes that is possible, but you will need to inform the client to contact us and confirm that the project needs to be marked as completed."
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
