I wanted to get the verified badge on my profile and she conducted me to all the KYC and interview process. Process was SUPER FAST because she was super flexible and attend with me with all the time and dedication.
I really appreciate it Chelsea.
Chelsea did an amazing job with the verification process! Even though I couldn't see her, I felt her kindness through the screen. She was incredibly nice and made an intimidating process feel transparent and much less scary. I really hope we cross paths again!
Buena atención y resolución de dudas y consultas del soporte técnico.
Muchas opciones de trabajos en diferentes idiomas y niveles de experiencia.
Experience was excellent. The support staff was helpful, even though the mistake was my own, they were helpful and accommodating. Happy to have another chance to be working on Freelancer.com :)
Today, I had my freelancer verification interview by Chelsea. She made the whole experience smooth for, came on time, asked me some questions, and gave me the freelancer verified badge. I am also thankful Noah who pursued me in doing this and he contacted me twice with explanation, benefits, and preparations I need to do for the interview.
Thanks to freelancer verification staff Chelsea and Noah.
Fairness and speed of follow-up more than I expected. As much of them quick response and direct I feel they are work for them benefit/money to got from me. After a few days, it became clear to me that they had already fixed the problem before I asked them to help me. Big Thanks again
They are very helpful.
Nice to talk with chelsea.
She give me great suggestion for improve profile and get more project
I really appreciate talking with speaking with Mrs. Chelsea V. I clearly understood her even though English is not my native language, It was clear and understandable. Gave me permission to finish speaking before she continued even though she's older than me ( though I couldn't see her face, her voice does show it) and has more privilege than me. I really appreciated that. Sweet voice too... hahaha
I was very happy with the review process. Chelsea asked me a lot of detailed questions about my profile, my skills and work experience. I think this review process is very important as it establishes trust on the Freelancer platform. Thank you!
It was very good experience for me. As I was ready few minutes prior of decided time so she didn't mind to join the call early to save my time.
Chelsea was very kind to me in the interview, she explained everything related to the program, which made the meeting very bearable, was a excelent experience with freelancer. Thanks you
I had an excellent experience with Freelancer Support team as they issues all of the issues mentioned below:
- Whether sharing e-mail address is allowed or not.
- Whether one can communicate outside the Freelancer platform
- Whether one can use Google Meet or not.
Thank you freelancer for helping out with a dispute with my freelancer. Unfortunately the freelancer I chose took way too long to deliver. Freelancer came in and blocked his account so he was forced to complete my job before anything else was released. This is not an ideal working situation but sometimes its the only way so thank you
Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool! Cool!
Customer support helped me resolve a milestone-release issue I had. They were swift with their response.
I have good experiences and good qualification but I can't find client beacuse I don't have any reviews.
I don't know how can I solve this problem.
Maybe freelancer team could help people like me.
Resolving a dispute with one of the freelancers was fast and sufficient. Freelancer team replied immediately, when we ran it to issue, with on of the users.
Money was refund and dispute resolved.
Freelancer team did a great job.
The Freelancer staff was nice and interesting to talk with. All questions were informative. It was pleasure for me to talk with.
I found Chelsea and Avery to be very helpful in regards to the verification process.
I like that they co-ordinated and have helped me with the steps needed.
I think they're both doing a great job and I feel fortunate to have benefited from their support and going forward I'd like to consider them as my contacts if I need further help.
Thanks to Macall, I was able to achieve one of my most important goals since I started freelancing. Thanks for introducing me to the preferred program, it's a big update.
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
