Thank you for your interest in Footwear etc. Our headquarters is located in California, and we're now celebrating over 30 years of great customer service. We're a family run business, which started as one store, but has grown to 11 locations along with our online store. Simply stated, we're old fashioned when it comes to the way we treat our customers. We pride ourselves on making people happy.
Why should you shop with us? In addition to our great customer service, we carry what we feel are the best products in footwear today. If it's uncomfortable, we simply don't sell it. You'll also talk to real people when you call in. Each staff member is trained, friendly and solution-oriented. In addition to comfort, we focus on remedying common problems in the feet and legs. My husband had a very bad ankle injury. He had been laid up a long time and was wearing a "boot" but wanted to try walking without it. He had been wearing another shoe for some time, MBT's.
I had been wearing my 1540's for ankle problems and support so I suggested he go back to an old 1540 that he had.
He noticed relief and decided to use them for healing. He ordered a new pair: 1540 V 3 and is walking and still healing. He likes this shoe very much. I have a pair also. Would recommend to anyone that needs comfort and pronation support.
Do not like the 1540 V. 4 as it does not feel as supportive with the foam that has been added, similar to Hokas. Hope New Balance goes back to the same construction or better of the 1540 V. 3 in new productions.
