FoodNetwork Reviews Summary

The company's reputation is increasingly tarnished by customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived declines in programming quality and a lack of engaging content. Viewers express frustration over repetitive shows, perceived arrogance from hosts, and a shift away from the original cooking-centric focus. Additionally, customers report poor customer service, citing unresponsive support regarding issues such as lost recipes. While some fans still appreciate select shows, the overall sentiment indicates a longing for a return to the network's foundational values of culinary education and inspiration, suggesting a need for significant content and service improvements.

I have watch Food Network since it started in the 1990s and I still love to watch it because I can learn to cook new things but now it's nothing but game shows with the Barefoot Contessa still on and a few other Cooks occasionally but it's nothing about learning to cook anymore I know it's probably cheaper this way for the network but it's not even worth watching most the time anymore

My mom & I enjoy watching several of your shows. 'The Kitchen' is one of our favorites. However, I find Sonny & her comments to be nauseating! I don't remember this being called "Sonnys Kitchen." It would be nice to watch without her running her mouth all the time!

The only time I turn on food network is when the Pioneer Woman and Ina Garten are on. There's no one else left that shows you how to cook different dishes. Can't stand all of the reality cooking shows and there are many! Whatever happen to Sandra Lee. Use to watch all the time not anymore.

This is the worst cooking channel ever. I dont mind italian food, but all the cooks and shows are italian. Im sick of watching one chef after another teaching me how to make pasta with tomato sauce and basil five different ways. Im looking for variety and things to spice up my meals. Italian is super simple and requires little instruction. Most people can mix together a pot of ziti no problem, but i when i want to make pad thai, or peruvian where can i find that on tfn? Stop with the italian over kill and bring in more variety and culture. Bland bland bland!

Where are you Sandra? Melissa? Arti? Big Al? I can't stand the shows meant to entertain us. Food network has really disappointed me. I used to enjoy watching and learning how to make different foods. Now it's contest after contest. Bring back cooking! Thank goodness pioneer woman is still with us!

The Kitchen
October 25, 2016

I love The Kitchen on the FoodNetwork. The interaction between hosts is fun. However, can someone help with Sonny's makeup. She looks like she's dressed in costume for Halloween most every episode. From her lips (yikes), fingernails, hair to clothes - double yikes! Very hard to watch her. And, enough with all of the drinking. Stick to food.

I love to watch Chopped on the Food Network but immediately lose interest when the AG HAG- Alex Guarnaschelli - is a judge. What has she actually accomplished in her career (other than get lucky on Iron Chef) to qualify her for this task of judging ANYONE else's food? She is most critical of the talented female chefs who compete on Chopped because she is aware she cannot compete against them. She literally has nothing positive to say about anyone she is threatened by. Go home Alex and continue eating your weight in food every day and leave the real cooking to the gifted professionals.

DDD is really getting old as is ridiculous shows such as Cuttroat Kitchen. I like The Kitchen because they at least give you kitchen hints. Giada's cooking is beyond what most people can do or afford and who cares who beats Bobby Flay. Both Giada and Bobby appear arrogant and phony. Give us some real chefs like Arron Sanchez, Emeril, Ina Garten and good cooks like Ree Drummond.

FoodNetwork used to be worth watching with the variety of cooks they had daily. Now it is nothing but stupid cooking with obnoxious ingredients that you can only find if you are a dumpster diver. I never watch FoodNetwork or the Cooking channels any longer.

I loved watching the food network. I would be inspired to cook for my family. Kids do not inspire me to make dinner.
I would turn on food network and leave it on for hours, not anymore

You have lost touch.

Get rid of all the old show hosts who weren't any good as chefs. Get rid of the game shows. Get rid of the kids. Better yet get rid of the executives who are running this disaster of a network. I wish someone would start up a real food channel.

Chopped is the most racist show I have ever seen. Please do better. Pick the best cook not the skin color you feel is the best.

Watched numerous Chopped episodes. Appears as half and half bar cooks and few low end chefs are given ridiculous bizarre ingredients that Just DO NOT go together. When you place the misfit ingredient to the side you end up chopped out. Not Fair, and Not interesting. Very Poor plate review, sometimes the judges do not even provide consistent feedback on the chopped plate. Just watched the Italian older man loose first round, among the 3 other competitors even though the judges only said his dish was delicious.
Not Fair, total BS!

Change the name to the food reality and game show channel. Couldn't you at least have one of the channels for real cooking shows and 1 for fake reality and game shows

Wrong choice. It should have been Damino. A pastry chef would be great. Enough of Triple D. And cup cakes wars And repeats. Food Network has lost its way.

Literally if you scroll through the choices all thats playing that day is cupcake wars and different forms of chopped. I used to LOVE Food Network. They used to have a good mix of shows like Cake Wars, regular cooking shows, Unwrapped, BBQ cookoffs, and various other challenges. Now its only two/three shows they play over and over. Really disappointing I could almost cry.

Disappointed
July 12, 2016

I used to love putting on foodnetwork and start cooking. Now all I see is reruns upon reruns and during my preparation of dinner all the network is showing is cooking wars, did, cupcake wars - nothing interesting and those I just mentioned are super boring and the stars generally look very foolish. Bring back something new

The Network is on a downhill slide. Every time I turn around Guy Fieri has a new show! Why? He is not a good cook, I ate in his restaurant in NYC even BEFORE it got the horrible reviews. Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is on for 24 hours on the weekend. Who gave the Network the idea that this arrogant, condescending person is that popular?
I still enjoy The Barefoot Contessa and Valerie Bertinelli. I also kinda like The Pioneer Woman, even though the wannabee cowboys sitting around the dinner table in filthy cowboy hats is a definite turnoff. Also delivering food to the family on the range where they are handle cows and "cow patties" then grabbing food without the benefit of a hand sanitizer is a definite YUK! It's time for some new talent and less of Guy Fieri! PLEASE!
