FoodNetwork Reviews Summary

The company's reputation is increasingly tarnished by customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived declines in programming quality and a lack of engaging content. Viewers express frustration over repetitive shows, perceived arrogance from hosts, and a shift away from the original cooking-centric focus. Additionally, customers report poor customer service, citing unresponsive support regarding issues such as lost recipes. While some fans still appreciate select shows, the overall sentiment indicates a longing for a return to the network's foundational values of culinary education and inspiration, suggesting a need for significant content and service improvements.

As I watch marathon after marathon of chopped Canada and/or guy''s grocery games, I can't help but wonder who the hell is running this station? I have actually contacted them to tell them how bad their channel is and they asked me to hang in there because there is great, quality programming coming. Where? When? Although, I am enjoying *******@Bobby and the pioneer woman, we need more, man!

Chopped Kitchen - You say the basket ingredients are "Mandatory" twi e at beginig of every episode. Then you say it isn't if judges take a dislike to chef. How can you justify leting contestant that forgets or leaves out ingredient continue then eliminate another for forgetting one and say that is reason - two faced. Most of these chefs could make great dishes if you let them leave out a off rhe wall ingredient. The ultimate was watching a chef that left out ingredient in one round win the championship... then 10 minutes later watch you eliminate a chef tbat left out ingredient and move on one that no judge would even eat the dish in same round. Ingredients are optional or they are not.

No more how fast can you make chicken feet and duck tail into a dessert please. What happened to shows that teach you how to cook? Why are there nothing but reruns on Cooking Channel? How many Triple Ds would anyone watch in a row?

Cooking channel is very disappointing. Too many competition shows. And too many cooking with celebrities. I used to enjoy very much watching the kitchen but today is probably the last time I will watch it cannot stand sunny. She is loud takes over the whole show eats everything. I do believe if you stand still long enough she would eat you too. Turned in to be a very disappointing show

Cutting the cord, the food shows were the last I watched. Now it is just non-sense food or killer food like all the sugar shows. I have been a viewer since the beginning. The end is here.

Food channels for morons
February 20, 2017

I used to watch the stand and stir shows for inspiration - what to cook for dinner. The reality shows are boring and a waste of time. They must make the networks a ton of money. Bring back the cooking shows and start a different channel for the idiotic competitions.

We really enjoy watching the Kitchen but why is Sunny the main one to do most of the talking, tasting, interviewing guests, etc? Is she funding the shows now? She is so loud and rude talking over others. And please keep the camera off of her when she eats. She has to taste and stick her fingers in whatever is prepared on the show. No one is as smart as she is for she is always correcting people. Jeff is loud also but at least he has better manners. Please let the others on the show have equal time as Sunny.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!
February 18, 2017

So first of all, if you guys wanted to watch more cooking, stick to the cooking channel or YouTube! I love all the shows especially Beat Bobby Flay, The Kitchen, Cooks vs Cons, Triple D, Pioneer Woman, and of course Chopped! FN caters to all! Doesn't have to be just cooking! As long as food is involved! However, I don't like Ginormous with that clueless guy who doesn't even know how to flip a burger only in his mouth haha jk! Boy, bye! Besides that 9.9/10! Btw, if you guys need extra judges, I'm more than qualified, not iron chef qualified, but cooks vs cons qualified! True story! Cheers!

After reading so many reviews I am so happy that I am not the only person thinking that Foodnetwork has gone bust. After making many of the shows personalities HUGH STARS, we lost the main focus of this awesome channel. Even canceled subscription to magazine. Please bring back cooking shows. NO MORE WARS, COMPETITIONS, CELEBRITIES TURNING CHEFS. PLEASE

Poor Judges
February 10, 2017

I would like to know why Chopped has judges that cannot win chopped but can judge? Maneet, Amanda and Chris. How can they judge others when they cannot win chopped themselves? Scott won, Marcus won, Alex won and Aron won. Don't forget that Alex and Geoffrey are Iron chefs. Maybe chopped has to get new judges cause i don't believe that Maneet, Amanda, and Chris know what they are talking about!

Shame on you
February 9, 2017

After all the requests for donations for no kids hungry, you start a program called ginormous or something like that. What a sinful & disgusting waste of food. Someone should be fired! How many kids could have benefited from that glutinous waste?

Missing the cooking shows. I am a fan of the competition shows, however not when it is Chopped ALL day long followed by a marathon of yet another cooking competition. Cake Wars, Holiday Baking Championship, Beat Bobby Flay I do enjoy and REALLY miss the original cooks/chefs. Bring back Ina, Michael, Mario, Giada, Sandra Lee etc. Mix it up a bit. We have enough competitions in the world, why can't we keep true to our cooking?

I used to love watching the afternoon shows of Barefoot Contessa, pioneer Woman, etc now it's DDD for hours in a row! Too many completion shows and no cooking shows... not a great programming decision. Nobody likes watching Guy Fieri 8 hours a day.

Your Show Sucks Now!
January 11, 2017

You had me every Saturday night in watching Paula Deen's party. Emille, Deb and Gabrielle. Whatever happened to Ina Garten. I will never watch your whos on Sugar Showdown. What's wrong with you. You had winning formulas. You blew it BIG TIME!

Incredibly disappointing
December 31, 2016

I'm so disappointed in Food Network channel now. There's nothing on anymore besides competitions and Guy Fieri. What has happened to all the chef shows? You guys are losing huge numbers of viewers. Please review and make some changes. I used to watch your channel 24/7 and now I never turn it on. Very sad...

What happened to cooking
December 30, 2016

You've become like mtv. Too many stupid shows. Where are the chefs? I don't want to watch shows, about cupcakes, cooks and cons, diners drive-one and dives is on constantly. Where are the great cooking shows that used to be on. A healthy cooking show would be awesome. Low carb cooking is something alot of people would love since many people are trying to lose the sugar. But noooo. You slap on cupcake wars. Cannot stomach this channel anymore. Who is in charge here. Fire them.

The Food Network and Cooking Channel have left the building... simple as that. The completions are sophomoric, celeberty cooks are are merely assembling and pretending to entertain, which is just plain lame!
I want the likes of Ann Burrel, Alton Brown, Kelsey Nixon, Melissa D'Arabia back! And not in the form of some absurd competition, either! Or Tyler Florence, when health ally cooked... he was amazing. I do not wants see him "coach" food trucks! What's waste of talent. I can enjoy the Pioneer Woman, somewhat, but prefer Deb and Gabrielle's ExtraVirgin because their back story is more food oriented (as is Italy, which a food paradise!). These channels are becoming a waste of time. There is no set line up, just a hodgepodge of you get what get. DIsappointing! :(
