The company's reputation is increasingly tarnished by customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived declines in programming quality and a lack of engaging content. Viewers express frustration over repetitive shows, perceived arrogance from hosts, and a shift away from the original cooking-centric focus. Additionally, customers report poor customer service, citing unresponsive support regarding issues such as lost recipes. While some fans still appreciate select shows, the overall sentiment indicates a longing for a return to the network's foundational values of culinary education and inspiration, suggesting a need for significant content and service improvements.

If you are a minority. Please boycott you're there for color everdently only the cocasion people have it there mind they only can cook. Minority unite get our cooking show#!
Content geared to idiots. A John Belushi "Animal House " type food fight might be refreshing. Giada's cleavage best looking dish on network and distracting enough to hide her innate lack of talent. Food Network has become the Barnum and Bailey of gastronomy.
The show has become boring. The host aren't even showing that they taste the food. The hosts are giving the contestants criticism when they need to listen to their own advice. I feel bad writing it but as a person who loves to watch Food Network when I do get spare time, I want to watch a great show. Bobby and Giada probably have done what they could do and now they need replaced with people who can boost up the show. I think when they first started off they did great and now they are going down hill. It's kind of depressing to watch when they look like they don't want to be there.
I love watching the Food Network shows but when it comes to minority Chefs on 'Chopped', walking away with the $10k unfortunately is NOT going to happen as long as Alex Guarnaschelli sits as a judge. You can actually hear the animosity in her voice and thats a shame. She needs to judge righteously or be 'Chopped ' as a judge.
I really enjoy The Kitchen recipes, tips and guests. I would enjoy it more if Katie worked on a less nasal voice and Sunny wasn't yelling out every single word, interrupting at every turn and grabbing every food item as if she hadn't eaten in weeks. Her lipstick and nail polish are distracting from the show content. She is a happy personality and has great recipes. Easy fix.
My husband and I enjoy watching the food network, but I don't appreciate the distraction of Giada's breast hanging out of her dress. Maybe she needs to find another network to flaunt her body on. The only breast I want to see on this network are chicken breast.
The kitchen is a great opportunity for people to learn great shirt cuts and tips, but, the chefs are so busy telling each other how great the are that a lot of time is wasted. They are CHEFS, RIGHT. They are supposed to be good. And Jeff is so immature and silly, he ruins his part. There is a difference in humor and childish behavior. And noe Marcella is trying to compete with Giada in the who can shoe the most cleavage contest. This is a cooking show, not a strip show. Grow up people!
What's up with Giada on network star with the blobs on display? This is a family show not Victoria Secret. She is so fake lately. Her smile is also fake. Get back to normal Giada.
Katie Lee... It's not funny to always act like you have a disability. Quit trying to act cute by making yourself sound like a handicapped mouse. I would take up something like working with special education students if I was you. You would be able to understand them because we can't understand you. Please remove yourself from this already awful show.
I used to watch "Food Network" religiously... back in the days of Emeril, Paula Dean, Barefoot Contessa, Trisha Yearwood ect... But Food Network can't hold our attention for even 15 seconds today. They have such an opportunity to grab some viewers these days and totally miss it with the ongoing boring "Drive ins Diners & Dives". Sorry Guy but you're a "has been". You should have done a "Jerry Sienfeld" and left when you were on top. I don't want to watch competition........ I want to watch cooking! HELP!
Judges are harder on female cooks especially Arum. This is mostly true on Chopped programming when there are both females and males competing.
I really don't know what Giada's low cut shirts or dresses have to do with cooking dose it really help network ratings to have her boobs in everyone face. It is disgusting that is the main reason I stopped watching her cooking shows it was all about her boobs. If she relied more on her cooking talents she would keep her boobs covered... Respectively this is a family show...
Food Network has really gone down the tubes. Don't get me wrong, I do watch some DDD but playing it for hours every day gets boring.
What's with all the competition shows? The only competition I loved was Iron Chef America. Halloween Wars is fun because it can only be done during October.
I miss "Good Eats", "30 Minute Meals" "Paula Deen", " The Pioneer Woman".
The Kitchen is good except for all the screaming. I like Sunny but she is so loud that when she starts, I mute it. Katie sometimes gets on my nerves but not much. Jeff can be loud and act like a kid too much. And, stop talking over people.
It also looks like Geoffrey Z is gritting his teeth and trying to tolerate it all.
GGG, Chopped, anything thing with kids or TV stars needs to go. You need to remove about 85% of your shows and replace them with cooks or chefs that have a passion for their craft that you can see that spark in their eyes when they cook.
Why do you still do "The Next Food Network Star"? The winners hardly ever have staying power.
I want cooking and good stories behind it. I don't need special effects and fancy lights. Just good, honest cooking.
Why get rid of Paula Deen? No one's perfect. But, Nancy Fuller is no Paula Deen and I feel that you're trying to convince us that she is the next Paula. She's not.
I used to have FN on my favorite channel list and had many shows on my DVR. No longer.
You're losing your fans. You better listen to them. Without all of us, you're going to go under.
FN, overhaul your channel.
We are hungry for something real.
Please have them
Go thru next food Network star before giving the Dunhams their own show!' They are terrible! How about some actual cooking on these shows?
Even the Kitchen is competitive especially with Jeff Mauro who is so annoying always needing the camera on him and yelling over the others!
Same shows running all the time. We want more shows like pioneer woman, contessa, 5 ingredient fix and even Giada (dressed modestly). Not the same show running continuously! One day, I hope you'll figure out how much we hate that. Stop all those competitions! You call yourself the Food Network! We want to learn more about cooking!
As many before me have stated, the programming has changed for the worst. The game shows and the competitions are TERRIBLE! The kids cooking/baking/grilling is by far the most annoying television I have ever had the pleasure of changing the channel on! Come on! Kids that age barely have a palate past box macaroni and cheese. And the annoying commentating by these kids, that is clearly and poorly scripted is enough to make me want to ruin my perfectly good television.
I want to watch the "Food Network" to learn about and appreciate new tastes, techniques and ideas. I want to watch the experts do what they do! No one needs to be judged, (And don't get me started on the smug, evil eyeing, rude judges that make the rounds on these desperate shows).
I love Bobby Flay, he is your keeper. He's real, inspirational, diverse and not putting on the airs, dressing up in the theme, or smiling with all 32 teeth in his face while pronouncing each noodle, cheese or herb with a fake accent.
Please have a BIG executive meeting about what you think is the best content for your network and then do NONE OF IT! Instead, listen to the people and give them what they want! It's that easy!
You can put differnt shows instead of showing chopped dinners drive in and dives all the time apersons can watch just so much of those shows i used too like too watch the food network but not anymore
I am so sick of Valerie and Trisha and the rest of them telling us how awesome they are at cooking. Seriously? Just show us how to cook recipes that you obviously believe will turn out well (or else you wouldn't be broadcasting them -- duh), and be pleasant without continually telling us how wonderful your cooking is. And stop already with the My My My. Yes, Valerie, we know it's YOUR garlic going into YOUR pan to brown with YOUR onion that was peeled by YOUR peeler and that will eventually be poured into a pot with YOUR diced tomatoes, etc. etc. Blech, blech. For cryin' out loud -- watch your show and LISTEN to how annoying you sound? And pull back YOUR long hair--you know, like a true, hygienic cook would do.
Answer: I agree! So boring. I used to try.to cook recipes but it's gotten truly silly.
Answer: Get rid of by the rude Overeating NO MANNER PIG SUNNY ANDERSON!
Answer: Well if you want to be taken seriously then learn how o spell that is first! What is "standers"? Do you mean "STANDARDS"? And it is NOT "lier" it is "liar".
Answer: She yells every time she opens her mouth. Says "know what I'm saying..." incessantly, purports crappy recipes, talks with her mouth full, and attacks every concoction like a starved dog. What's not to like?
