False advertisers, more expensive then direct airline prices and no customer service. I booked a ticket from Toronto to Las Vegas today based on their web site promotion of $20.00 off but once I put the credit card info in, it charged me full payment and no discount. Calling and waiting for half an hour to get the supervisor did not help. They simply don't listen.
Simultaneously I had checked the airline directly and their price was 10% lower then Flight Hub but Flight Hub does not care.
Yesterday i trully learned what kind of travel agent they are & how my circle of friends will get to know their true side.
Booked flights through them, arrived at Terminal at Pearson airport, was denied entry into US because a new law had been passed a few weeks earlier that dual citizenship need visa to enter US, customs had said the travel agent should refund you as this was out of my hands. I had passed the ESTA Program online and was clear to enter US, Customs told me the site hadn't been updated yet. Called Flighthub explained my situation & to cancel my reservation, and they told me to contact United Airlines.
I called UNITED AIRLINES & they were more than happy to give me full refund on the Tickets & were very apologetic that this had happened.
I contacted Flighthub again and they said that they can't accept United Airlines decision, instead i needed to pay $125 extra for each ticket and the tickets would be kept open for a year. The problem is, the person i was travelling with is terminally ill & this would have been her last trip to US, and the only way to re-use the tickets was for BOTH to travel again, not just one traveller but both. The time period we had actualy booked, there was an event going on in Miami. Now that event will not occur in the same city again as it would be somewhere else next year. I'm a very busy person & to take the time off was difficult already.
I will also letting my local MP know how this has happened & what kind of company Flighthub is.
Not once during this ordeal was Flighthub's customer service caring or apologetic, maybe they need their staff sent for training courses to retain customers.
Did a search and the amount of complaints towards FLIGHTHUB is unbelievable.
Long story short: booked my flights round trip. Needed to change my return date. All sales are final, they didn't do anything to help me get home sooner. Spent a 20 hour lay over in LAX with a frozen credit card.
I missed my flight which is a round trip ticket, and they cancelled my return ticket because the airline declared me for a no show! Wow! They don't even do anything! They're asking me to buy a new reservation! They don't know how to make their customer happy. Its my first time to ecnounter a round trip ticket and they cancelled also my return ticket! Worst of the worst!
The price of tickets are cheaper than anywhere and that is why I got it. But then I had to cancel and the drama began. I cancelled my flight on 28th November (## 002-636-482) and am still waiting for my money. They keep on delaying the payment and lying about it. I have talked to Jurene, Mels, Theo, Lyca and April (all Filipinos from Phillipines call center) and they just lie. No matter what you say in the first call will be forgotten in your next call. They even scammed a credit card number and charged me 150$ as cancellation fees without ever processing a refund..
Booked roundthe world flight. Quoted me a great price so I booked and they suggested I take out the $19.99 cancellation so I did for 2. Received the itinerary and the agent made an error and had me flying from Maui to Oakland California instead of to Auckland to Brisbane so I called back and told them of their error and they were not apologetic and they sad we will change it but it will now cost over $600 more. They would never admit to their error. That was out of my budget so immediately I cancelled. They told me they would refund me and I asked about the cancellation insurance and they at that time said that would also be
Refunded. Received the trip money but not cancellation money. They would not give me back the $39.98. They kept insisting I cancelled and it is against their policy to refund the cancellation. Asked to talk to manager, left on hold for several moments and then was told he was not available but would return my call. Needless to say have never heard from them.
I booked with them because it was recommended to me by my friends who also where going on the same holiday with us. They do not have the price change guarantee and when I called them to see if they can do anything for me to accommodate the price difference they had nothing to offer but penalties over penalties. Frustrated I called the airline directly just to find out they where going to charge me even more then Flighthub to make any changes. Not getting anywhere I took a deep breath and said OH WELL! But then I double checked my email confirmation and the penalties where different again. GET ON THE SAME PAGE PEOPLE!. One thousand dollars may not be a big deal for some people but for me is a lot and it hurts to see that companies like Flighthub simply have nothing to offer you for your hard worked money. I will never ever go to them.
I will NEVER book with flight hub again. I booked a flight with them and two days later the same flight from a different air line was $600 cheaper. I called them and they wanted to charge me $450 to cancel and rebook through them where if I went through a travel agent they would have done it for free which happened for my parents. Nor did they tell me that I would have to pay $400 to boo my seats with the airline. The reps are pushy and if you talk from agent to agent the prices and stories change. Save yourself the grief and pay a bit rxtra and go with a travel agent. They have ruined my trip even before it started. Thumbs down
Just do not. They are not worth the risk of interacting with their horrid customer service representatives' tactics and getting scammed out of your money. I bet they're fine as long as you don't try to cancel or change your ticket under any circumstances. Oh and being charged an extra couple hundred dollars and only telling you afterwards is also expected.
Willing to also bet that they write their own reviews to balance out all the real reviews. Nobody who talked to these guys on the phone would ever be raving about it enough to write any type of positive review, let alone a 5 star. Stay A-W-A-Y.
Thanks a lot Flighthub for charging me an extra $1,000 dollars for wanting to change my reservation to a week earlier. Not only does their customer service barely provide any helpful information, but they are absolutely rude at dealing with people. Why would I pay $822 CDN for a flight to Rio, and be told to pay $945 CDN dollars extra to change the flight to a week earlier, when your site is charging $797 CDN dollars leaving the week earlier and returning the same date I previously mentioned. You guys have got it all twisted. It is actually cheaper to buy another flight, than to actually change a reservation. What an absolute joke of an agency. Definitely the last time I ever use your website to book anything. I'd rather pay $2,000 dollars to another agency than to ever use your services ever again.
September 10 - Booked flight to Thailand through FlightHub with January 15,2016 departure
November 11 - Logged into FlightHub account and saw alert that itinerary had changed (they did not notify me)
November 11 - January 3 (Today) - 24+ hours spent on phone with no resolution. Continual empty promises that ticket will be reissued pending waiver code from airline. Airline states no waiver code is required for schedule change. It would take 6-8 weeks for a refund,
The only thing I know for sure is that I will never book with FlightHub again.
Booked my flight through them, the agent made an error in my last name as she entered it as initials, question her procedure she said that's what they do, told her that I am gonna call the airline to confirm that, anyways my concerns were right contacted them to figure out a solution told me they are gonna give me a call after 4 hours, waited 14 hours and got nothing, came back with a solution today either I pay 100 dollars to change the name or they cancel the reservation and I pay the cancellation fee and both of them are not acceptable. Talked to a supervisor just kept saying it''s my fault mocked and made fun of me.
Terrible customer service. I needed to cancel my multicity ticket and they advised me it would be $450. I agreed to pay it and proceed. At the last moment, the agent checked something and told me my ticket was suddenly entirely non-refundable. Despite waiting over 30minutes to speak with his boss, I didn’t manage to cancel it. They don’t listen, provide confusing information and keep reading the same annoying scripts. Never again am I booking with them.
My partner and I went to Vancouver last March. We booked a flight with FlightHub and we never expected that everything would be so easy.
We did not have any issues with our tickets. We had no problems at the airport. Everything went according to plan. It is actually surprising why there were so many negative reviews against this agent.
Anyway, it could just be a stroke of luck. Then again, I wouldn't mind if we booked again with FlightHub in the future.
Cheap prices but worse service ever. I had to postpone my trip that i booked with them and was given wrong and different information everytime i called them. I asked their manager and even he gave me wrong information. I ended up cancelling it and took a big loss as i did not trust them with anything they said after. Worst experience i have ever had. I recommend not to ever use them.
Our family booked a flight through FlightHub for a quick holiday to Ottawa last February. One thing I can say about their service was that it really rocked!
Now, I know that there are some concerns about FlightHub that might raise eyebrows, but what we experienced from flight booking to the actual flight itself was the exact opposite of what they've been talking about on the Internet.
The service was fast and easy. Everything was laid out for us when we processed the payment. We didn't even have to call customer care because everything flowed smoothly.
We will definitely book again with FlightHub on our next holiday.
My husband and I finally decided to take a holiday outside of the country. We wanted a laid back weekend and decided to go to Saskatoon.
Then, we learned about FlightHub. We read it was a Canadian company and what better way to book a flight to The Great White North than to book with FlightHub.
So, we booked a flight for two last June and went to our quick weekend getaway.
It was really special. Things were even better since we never had any problems with our flight booking. We would definitely be booking with FlightHub more often in the future.
When my boss approved my short holiday last September, I was absolutely ecstatic that I wanted visit another country. So, I checked the web and searched for the best affordable flight for a very short holiday to Seattle.
Then, I found FlightHub. I read some bad feedback about the company, but since I really needed to book a flight, I took my chances.
When my quick holiday was over, I never really expected that everything would go smoothly. I went to Seattle and back to Montreal without even calling the FlightHub call center for assistance.
Plus, they really have good rates. So, thank you FlightHub!
I rarely go out of the country even though we're so near the US. There's just so many things to do. That's why when I had a chance to grab a quick holiday, I took it!
I booked a flight to New York last September and I was absolutely excited about it. I booked a flight on the web and found FlightHub. I asked around and read a few comments, they weren't all too good. Still, I went ahead, since I already found a flight that fit my schedule.
I was truly amazed at how easy it was to book a flight with them. I had no issues, every thing was laid out perfectly.
After my 4-day tour, I went back to Toronto without a scratch. I'm now a new fan of flight travel. Can't wait for the next adventure. I owe that to FlightHub.
My husband and I always wanted to go to Florida Keys. That's why when we had the opportunity to go there last October, we immediately booked a flight.
Since our holiday trip was in such short notice, we decided to check the Internet and book with one of the agents that could help us pick a flight ASAP. Luckily, there was FlightHub.
I've heard from a few friends that there were somethings amiss with that agent, but what the heck, we went on and booked our flight.
As our short holiday was completed, we did not encounter any problem with our flights or even at the airport. Everything went well. That's thanks to FlightHub.
Answer: Hi Kristina, We're sorry to hear that you are having issues with your booking. Could you please send us your 9-digit booking reference number by private message? Our Escalations Team will look into your case and contact you to help resolve the matter. Kind wishes
Answer: Terrible experience. I bought "extended cancellation insurance" which apparently expires the same day you buy it. I learned this when I tried to cancel my flight the next day. Why would anyone buy cancellation insurance that only lasts a few hours? They did refund my cancellation insurance but I was stuck with the flight. I would not have booked when I did if I understood the cancellation policy.
Answer: No comparison to this disaster. Very bad site. Will avoid.
Cheap Flights is what FlightHub.com is all about. Save big on airfare, airline tickets and hotels. A great way to get cheap deals.
