The company has garnered a mixed reputation, with some customers appreciating the affordability and variety of services available, as well as the potential for building long-term relationships with freelancers. However, significant concerns dominate the feedback, particularly regarding delayed payments, unresponsive customer support, and a perceived lack of accountability for both sellers and buyers. Many users express frustration over unresolved disputes and the platform's failure to ensure transparency and quality among its freelancers. This highlights a critical need for improved customer service and stricter oversight to enhance user trust and satisfaction.

I paid for a 2-page CV only to wait a week and not receive it. The cancel/refund process is a pain and is designed to waste your time so you don't get your money back.
Sorry my bad, I should have read the reviews before I dealt with this company. Customer service is non-existent. Let's hope by me writing and you reading this review, you take heed and save your money.
Several months ago I was looking for a memorial tattoo design - and chose someone on Fiverr based on reviews - I'll NEVER trust reviews again. I sent her a couple of artwork designs I found online to help her with what I wanted - very clearly stating they were ONLY to help her get an idea and that I wanted an original design. At first, she said her schedule was full, but then told me she could squeeze me in as a favor. I paid the $50 and eagerly awaited (I don't remember if I paid a deposit).
Well, days later I received the design. Imagine my disappointment when it was the designs I sent her, copied and pasted, and sloppily jammed together. The only difference was that the colors were changed based on my preferences. I Hate confrontations, and so I put off telling her my disappointment. I also did not realize I had a limited time to accept/decline, so the transaction was put thru as purchased. That was on me. I did message her and explain that altho the transaction went thru - I was not happy with the design - calling it for what it was: a copy and paste and basically the theft of someone else's artwork (and hard work). I also messaged Fiverr telling them what happened - and never got a reply at all. I had to just write it off. The photo is what she submitted as her original design - both elements - the swan and the phoenix - can easily be found online and are what I submitted to her to help her with the design.
I would not recommend Fiverr - be prepared for zero customer service and some lazy "artists". But, honestly, the price alone should have been a red flag for me. I now know that authentic artists do charge more. So, keep an eye on the prices.
**I paid Rs **₹8,186.97 for an order which was never executed. The refund I received is only Rs 5575. 68. What happened to Rs 2611. 29, almost USD 35? Is it the Fiverr fees through the seller for the cheating client?
Almost all the reviews of sellers are purchased systematically making reverse payments.
I did 2 jobs and they never paid me! They don't have a contact number and nobody responds to me they are very unprofessional and stole money from me and the people that paid for my services! They took money from their accounts and never paid me, in addition they blocked them from using the databases I created for them. Horrible horrible experience will never do work for them again.
Fiverr is unprofessional service provider, Fiverr is no reputation and dishonest company,!
Fiverr employee are uneducated, uncultured and uncivilised!
Fiverr is bad than rubbish and Fiverr employee are low quality level!
I think Fiverr need closed in the world
This is a scam... They send you templates and information from other companies, miss deadlines and give you useless data pulled out of the sky. I had top write the whole thing on my own, So unprofessional you cannot even speak to anyone. Do not use this company. I am asking for my money back.
Several years back I started using fiverr because I live in a rural area and finding local creative talent was difficult. This week I went online and ordered a service. I paid the asking price, they added a huge fee. $2.75 on a $50. Next came the absolute chaos. There is an inbox, a task box, a messenger box, and 27 other places where messages between buyers and sellers can go and NONE OF THEM ARE CONNECTED - NONE OF THEM. I almost lost my mind. Sometimes communication was in one place then another then on my phone but not on the site. My Doer did a great job so I tipped $10, another fee $2.55 - on a $10 charge is ridiculous. I won't be back fivver.
I paid over $3k for my project and have no project to account for. Fiverr will not even respond to my requests for help. They keep saying my case is "resolved" but I am out a lot of money and have nothing to show for it. I am disgusted. Do not use them, trust me.
Please be really careful using Fiverr. They are more supportive of the techs hired to do gigs or projects then the customer who pays.
I had a very expansive online website store for 5 years. It took me a year to build it. I hired a tech through Fiverr to clone the website and scrapp all the data. I had to transition away from the current website company because they were at the end of life and would be permanently shutting down.
The Fiverr tech and I agreed to a two week window to complete the project. He told me that he could definitely complete the project in two weeks. The two weeks was the time frame he requested to complete the project. He did not keep his commitment. He did not get the project accomplished. The website company closed down and I lost the whole website that I built, the files everything. The website was worth thousands of dollars.
I explained the situation to a manager at Fiverr and told her what predicament he left me in. I asked for accountability for what he did. I explained that I never want him to do to someone else what he did to me and suggested he be punished and removed as a tech. All I received was a refund ($300). They did not care about the condition he left me in.
Please be careful with the company Fiverr. They do not care about the customer.

I tried to sign up and low and behold can't add my phone number to get up and running, so I can't complete the sign up process. So sick of wasting my time on sites that are supposed to help people find work.
I have this problem with the scammers that run Fiverr DOT com and this is how I decided to deal with it: I filed a LEGAL COMPLAINT with the OFFICIAL AUTHORITIES in their country to put this illicit company out of business. By deleting user accounts they, in fact, prevent users from accessing their data, which is illegal in their country. Also, I have enough HARD-COPY documented material proof and evidence to bury these xewish scammers together with their YuckWee gods.
Yes, they do publish positive reviews about their own business and they do send THOUSANDS of spambombs a day.
I hired a Fiverr contractor to help me with my Amazon PPC campaigns. The person said she could help me reduce my ACOS. After 2 months of work my ACOS jumped to over 600%. I got rid of this person and wanted to leave a review on Fiverr, but couldn't. Fiverr gives you 10 days after you hire someone to do a review. I do not know how this person is going to perform until the end of the 60 days I hired them for. I contacted Fiverr and they said there is no way I can give a review after the 10 day period and they would consider my problem with their next upgrade. They were pretty rude and obviously did not care. Fiverr is horrible.
I worked with a developer there for 3 major website projects and he was really reliable with great experience.
You can negotiate with the people there and they are flexible.
When I first came upon the Fiverr ad online I thought to myself this is perfect just what I needed to help me get my business up and running. That was before reading the many horrendous negative reviews about Fiverr. There where like 947 almost a thousand negative reviews vs 152 positive. Don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out Fiverr isn't a good company to help my business if they don't
Even have their on business in order. Sorry Fiverr thanks but no thanks.
Lie in portfolio, difficult to leave an opion after cancelling the order, i can't see the difference between fiverr and pay random people for make the job on the street
It's been 10 days this Michael Payton is doing 1 business logo and he can't complete it and he won't give me bck my money. That is his name on fiverr and they are not responding to my refund request. The logo looks like a 3yr old made it and he's just sending me random colors after I request a white diamond he sent a purple one then a blue one I'm fed up from the 20th November he's making it today us the 30th Nov.
Very easy to use platform, however it has terrible security protocols. They closed my account due to there lapse in responding to support issues as a seller. Then told me I violated there terms because I found a solution to being paid outside of there platform
Blocked my site because they said my content was not original... yes it was I designed it myself... I don't know who they are telling me my stuff is NOT MINE. Now I can't even get on there to dispute it... AWFUL SITE!
Hired an inexperienced seller for a book formatting and illustration project. (Not Fiverr's fault.) Wasn't satisfied with the result and saw the seller wouldn't be able to deliver what I wanted after I got the delivery. Customer support then told me Fiverr has no way for me to pay the seller some amount for his time. Then they said I could ask the seller to cancel the contract and give me a lower cost offer. When I went back to find my last messages with the seller, discovered the messages were not all in one place... or even two places! Only given 3 days to pay or reject the delivery, but getting customer service took most of that. The final straw is that after all that, I discovered I'll never get my "partial refund" back. It will stay on Fiverr as a balance for future projects! That's not happening.
Answer: I used Fiverr for my company logo. The guy lives in Vietnam and speak minimal English. I paid for an upgraded package with an unlimited amount of revisions, 3 original logos, stationary and Facebook as well as Twitter page covers. What does unlimited mean if a revision takes 24 hours and each revision is correcting spelling mistakes or telling him you don't want a green dog in your logo, I want a natural looking dog. His response is "you choose font and gives you a pale old lady stockings colour dog" instead of a white Dalmatian with black dots or a brown German Shepard. In the end I used an online translator to translate my requests from English to Vietnamese. He told me to sketch something and he'd make something. If I could sketch something then I would do my own logo. The one logo that I liked was the one I gave him all my ideas for. All he did was put it together in the right format. I was so frustrated with his other two attempts that I said ok give me the first logo with stationary and everything I've paid for. I got the most basic design, no stationary or headers. Did I go through customer service? OF COURSE! Throughout this whole ordeal. I described every little detail. Each time a different person would reply and say "I can understand your frustration and I will contact him". Only to have him return with the same dog in orange or turquoise and every time customer service would spit out the same line "I can understand your frustration and I will contact him. We see he is responding to you within 24 hours so for us that means you are trying to work things out. I want my money back! Sorry we can't give you your money back. The seller has received his money and its up to him to give you any money back if he so chooses. It was a dreadful experience. I ended up using an online logo maker and I loved it. PLUS it actually cost less. I'm now doing my own website. If you have the patience then try to do it yourself. Do NOT skimp on your website. The way the world is run today you want your website and all social media presence to correctly reflect your quality. If at the end I'm not happy with my website I will go to a professional and pay what it costs. Hope this helped and good luck
Answer: I know I have to wade through a lot of questionable sellers to get a good one. Happy hunting. There are good ones out there though.
Answer: All I can say id Fiverr is the BIGGEST SCAM going. Had to dispute the charges through my bank to get the money back
Answer: Stay far away from fiverr. I paid a guy to do some work and proved with third party techniques they used bots for fake views to my site. Yet this guy had many many great reviews. You cannot trust this site whatsoever. Stick with paypal as you most likely will get nowhere with fiverr.
Answer: If you want a site designed to steal credit card data from hard-working, civilized people, please use Fiverr. It is designed for one thing: to take your credit card data and leave you to deal with a mess. More details, reply or search for my previous posts.
Answer: I can only imagine you got swindled and feel bad about the fact you trusted someone. Don't feel bad, you did nothing wrong. There are sites who take the time to vet their sellers and then there are sites like Fiverr who let's anyone to join with zero check on their credentials. The entry into selling on Fiverr is so easy that it borders on ridiculousness. Anyone can lie about their location, experience, education, and just about any credentials. Some of them are really clever and mask their fake profile pictures and gig descriptions really well. Fiverr is so secretive about their vetting process, which I seriously doubt there is anything in writing, that you can't trust it. The seller's level is a joke - I've gotten cheated by ones with thousands of reviews. How they received literally a thousand or more review is mind boggling. Go back and check again, you'll notice like 99.9% of the million or so sellers all have 5 star reviews. All legitimate businesses have a combination of good and bad reviews, most average around 3/5 or if they are a really great business 4/5 but for a large company with like a million or so freelancers with zero credentials having 5/5 pretty much tells you there is something wrong. Like I said, you did nothing wrong. I hope you didn't lose too much money. Their philosophy is "We don't care how crappy the delivery was as long as the seller delivered you don't get your money back."
Answer: The answer is plain simple NO! You will get your followers, yes! But they are all bots, so you will lose 90% of the followers the same week, might as well throw this 5 bucks in the air.
Answer: There is very little in the world that is unique. You have to trust or spend a lot more $$$ or do it yourself
Answer: I would suggest having nothing whatsoever to do with Fiverr. When things go wrong - and that happens a LOT - there is no customer support line to call. They make it very difficult (in my own case, impossible) to resolve any problems. Read the evaluation reviews- they are extremely negative. My advice: find another site on which to offer your services. DG
Answer: I've had 28 orders and all but two were very satisfactory. Most were PDFform building or business card templates, but I had s few design logos for me then used the one I liked. Buyers: it's cheap. Remember that. When the service is good I tip generously then use the same person. I get great service, often in one day. When I order, I add express service and have yet to be disappointed. It's a business model without customer service. Face it. If you want customer service, go to Nordstroms or Nieman Marcus. Do a better job selecting your service provider; be clear in the order, and overpay.
