Would not purchase again
June 2, 2021

I bought three stella cherry trees. One came within a few days, though small, seemed okay. Two more were delayed by the shipping carrier and came beat up, with broken branches and no leaves. I reported this and they sent two more, which were also delayed several days. They were not as broken and beat up, but were yellow for having been in the box so long. They probably should change shipping carriers. The trees were also smaller and more expensive than my local nursery.

Not Very Pleased
May 31, 2021

I ordered a 5 in 1 apple tree and I was very pleased with it. I also ordered two trees that were supposed to be 1-2 feet tall. They were 10" tall. I didn't receive a notice when they were shipped. I signed up for text service from FedEx and didn't receive any text. Luckily we saw our box with the trees in it on our porch when we drove into our garage.

Wouldn't buy a tree here again
May 31, 2021

This was a great lesson for me to go to the local nursery next time, yes I would have to pay more, but I would get a beautiful tree, instead of the one with broken branches that probably won't recover until next year, like I got from here

Waiting
June 2, 2021

Every plant I purchased is barely clinging to life. I'm going to give it another week or so before filing a claim.

One of three trees were dead
June 2, 2021

I ordered 3 trees: one Chicago Hardy Fig (3 gallons), one Hosui Asian Pear (5-6 feet), and one Shinseiki Asain Pear (5-6 feet). They arrived 5 days after I ordered which I was very happy. However, even though the the fig and Hosui looked great, the Shinseiki ha all leaves wilted. With my garden experience, the cause of wilted leaves are not from the those 5 shipping days but the tree must have been in a very bad condition long before shipping. I sent the tree condition with photo but have not got any replied yet. I put all 3 trees in ground immediately when I got them and have been watering them frequently as instructed. It has been almost a month, the 2 good ones have grown well but the one in the bad condition (Shinseiki Asain Pear) look completely dead now

Fruit trees
June 2, 2021

Ordering was quick, easy, and efficient. Delivery was a bit slower than I anticipated, however, due to Covid employee restrictions, I'm assuming this was probably the reason. I ordered a cherry tree, apricot tree, and wisteria vine. They all came packaged beautifuuly, however the fruit trees were in sad shape (not dead, but looking leaf stressed). The wisteria was in beautiful condition and transplanted very well. The fruit trees barely had a root system to speak of, although the packing soil was still moist enough. When I went to plant the apricot, the lack of a sufficient root system was very concerning. I planted both trees anyway. It has been 1 1/2 weeks and they continue to look like they are struggling to keep their few leaves alive. I really feel the cause is the length of time they were in transit. I live in Nevada, so coming from South Carolina to NV, and with employee shortages, it might have been too much plant stress. I'm hoping they will recover and make it.

Not so great
June 2, 2021

One of two bushes I ordered was in rough shape when I received it. I have been trying to revive it, but I doubt it will survive. Other shrub seems to be adapting well.

Windmill Palms
May 31, 2021

Trees were in pretty good condition for being shipped. I anticipated them to be a little taller, but other than that, I had noompalints with the trees. I was supposed to receive a free Hydrangea for spending over a certain amount of money, but it arrived dead. I didn't make an issue of it as it was a free gift, and would be too much of a hassle to deal with sending g it back, etc. Overall, seems like a good company and quality of the trees seems to be good.

Not a gallon size
June 2, 2021

The plants that arrived appear to be healthy but are not anything that could be described as a 1 gallon size. The pots that arrived were only about 4 inches deep and it looks like the plants were transplanted to them just before shipping, having been re potted from an even smaller container. All of the #1 size 1 gallon pots I have are about 7 inches deep.

The issue is that the plants had nearly no depth to their roots and it is already warm and dry as summer approaches. I had expected based on the claimed pot size that the plants would arrive with more than superficial surface level roots. I had to install a watering system to give them a chance of surviving.

I contacted the company through their website. The page actually has specific instructions if you received a size other then advertised. I guess this is common practice. Their response was thats just how it is, claiming that the tiny pot half the size of a #1 nursery pot was gallon size.

Be prepared for a smaller underdeveloped plant than what is advertised and what you are paying for.

It is a stick
June 2, 2021

Our landscaper and I opened the box, and it was a 4' stick with 3 leaves on it. We looked at the root ball, and the dirt was loose around the roots. It was very disturbing to pay so much for a tree, and it looked so pitiful. Our neighbors are laughing at it.

Good product, good instructions
May 30, 2021

I placed two orders totaling 56 dogwoods of two varieties, 3 - 4 feet tall. They came within two days each time in good packaging of two to a box. The root ball of all were in good shape and packaged. Well. They came with starter nutrients already in each root ball sack. Instructions for planting were clear and they are now all in the ground and appear to be doing well. I plan to order more.

I ordered two 5-6 ft Natchez Crape Myrtles and they arrived in battered condition. Ants had chewed much of the new and existing growth, spiders, crushed limbs, barely five feet tall, thin and spindly… sad. I took them to the patio to recharge for a couple days and separated them from other plants. Customer service asked for photos and were so kind, offering to send two shorter plants and refund $40 shipping on my $240 order. I got the two shorter plants and observed more ants and leaf curl. Lots of dead stems and mis-shapen plant growth. Who grew these? Who packed these? Now I have 4 sickly crape myrtles that need lots of care before I can commit to placing them in my front yard. Be careful with this company! I see healthy shrubs in my local nursery for a fraction of the cost.

Fast growing trees delivered
May 30, 2021

I ordered a Cara Cara orange tree which was very hard to find. Fast growing trees delivered it quickly and it was in excellent health. It is thriving in just the short time that I have had it and I am looking forward to many abundant harvests.
