My previous purchase was a nut tree and it got eaten alive this summer. I sent notification and got a "sorry" from your company. I made a recommendation that invoices carry links to sites that your company recommends as "good reads" for protecting a tree's life in the first couple of months. (mission critical upon receipt) I still look at that poor tree and shake my head. It was devastated and so was I. I am hoping that I don't have the same experience with my current purchase. You are asking for date... don't remember - date below is estimate.

Purchased multiple plants from Fast Growing Trees. Most have done well with a few failures that FGT readily takes care of.
Everything I've ordered has been healthy and received well. Customer service is very responsive.
Had a 1 year warranty and so they did replace the plants. Several still struggled thereafter. Though the fruit trees did better than the Thuja green giants.

Would get a 5 start if it wasn't for using FedEx. FedEx doesn't take care of the boxes or listen to delivery instructions. Luckily fast growing trees has great customer service and is willing to replace trees that come destroyed by FedEx handling.

Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
