This review is a formal request to promote Melody to CEO -- I have never written a review, probably because I've never been so compelled to until now. On top of that, it's been at least 7+ weeks since this experience and I'm still taking the time to do this because I still feel that I must. The gist of the story is that I live in CA and restrictions were preventing me from ordering an improved Meyer Lemon tree for my significant other for Christmas, however there were several additional hiccups on top of that as well. I called in as a last ditch effort with not much hope and was greeted by possibly the most charming and genuine character I've come across in years. Melody didn't treat me like I was asking too much or wasting her time -- after probably 15+ minutes she managed to find a way to make things work while still honoring the discount(s) that originally motivated me to shop with this company in the first place and she did it all with a truly refreshing candor. I could go on and on but the moral of the story is that I will literally call in and ask for Melody in the future and continue to be a customer as long as she is around, regardless of price; and if I ever start my own company and need to build out a customer support team I will do everything in my means to poach her from your company and employ her with mine. Please know it's nothing personal, thank you!
I ordered three plants, including an olive tree. About 12-18" of the olive tree snapped off in transit. I emailed customer service and have yet to receive a reply.

Both trees arrived dry and leafless. One tree recovered quickly. The other has yet to grow any leaf and has been two weeks. And it seems that tree was recently transplanted to a bigger pot before shipping.

I ordered a 3-4' Dynamite Crepe Myrtle. In both my conversations, I asked if it would be multiple trunks & was told yes. When I arrived in Rock Hill to plant it, it was a single trunk & 2-1/2' high. I could tell by the root ball that it had just been up-potted. My previous experience with them was very positive but this time I felt that it was a poor value & not as advertised. I didn't have time to try to correct the problem because my brother is disabled & I had limited time to help him.
We are so sorry that your tree was a single trunk! 9 times out of 10, these are multi trunks but there are some crape myrtles that are single. We have reached out privately to make this right!

One tree packed in a box with another suffered slight damage due to weight of the tree on top. Hopefully the one on the bottom will recover with minor kinks in leaves.
I have used Fast Growing Trees to find items not readily or seasonally available in my area. To date, all trees and plants have arrived in excellent condition. All have been planted immediately, and all continue to thrive.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Have been dealing with this company for going on 2 years. Placed my second large order of fruit trees and bushes recently. Fast delivery, well packed and always healthy plants!

I have been ordering plants online all the time so I think give this website a try after reading a glowing recommendation from Nextdoor APP (don't believe these!).
I ordered a Hass Avocado tree and a blackberry plant from them, both arrived mostly died - they have been sitting in super soggy soil for a week, and the plants protection was one of the worst I have experienced among online nurseries, as a result, they arriving both lost most of their leaves (not dormant, because their leaves are damaged/lost in the package box).
Emailed customer service right away, asking for a refund(I don't have the confidence in this website anymore) and haven't heard back for a few working days.
Never will buy from this website this again, will keep asking for my refund and posting update here.

Tree was very well packed for shipping. I was taken back that it too, several months to ship, as well as that it shipped in January, during a snow storm. I sent a message to CS asking what I should do since the weather was not conducive with planting, and never hear back, but have received several advertisement emails, and this survey.
Got a miracle fruit tree with mildew on the lower branches, in 2 weeks, all leaves are falling off. Wrote to customer care and no response so far.

The first Myers lemon tree that I sent as a gift was a twig with 7 leaves. So they replaced it after speaking with several agents. The second tree showed up in a broken box and had 5 leaves and was much smaller. Horrible experience. I wish I had something nice to say.

I was sent 2 ornamental grasses that were like bundles of straw not purple fountain grass like I had ordered. I sent them pictures as soon as I opened the box to show how they looked - they claimed the grasses were dormant - they were dead. They also stated that I should "expect" dormant plants this time of year - even though it's not stated on their site or in my order - instead they show beautiful pictures of healthy plants. At first they would only refund me 15%, then after a lot of back and forth they went to 40% refund. So after spending thousands of dollars with this company over the last year, with about half of the trees I bought dying within a couple months, they're willing to lose a customer over 2 plants that cost about $150. I will never buy a thing from them again and I would not recommend them to anyone else - very shady.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience. We realize this grass looks dead, but this is completely normal. We appreciate you giving them some time and assure you that we have the plants covered 100% if they do not green back up in Spring.

Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
