I've used FastGrowingTrees.com twice. Both times, I ordered the same thing - 20 Giant Thujas. The first time, the experience was great. The price was good, the trees were shipped in a very secure fashion, the root bulbs filled the pots. The second time, was not the same. The pricing was about the same, but the trees were not secured in their boxes, resulting in many of them being bent. Several of the root bulbs were comically small - less than 2" thick in the pot. What was the difference? I purchased the warranty with the first set of 20 trees. Things went so smoothly with that first purchase, that I did not see the reason for it the second time. And therein lies the problem. Apparently, if you do not purchase the warranty, they treat your purchase as garbage.

After some initial issues with my order customer service recognized and took it upon themselves to make it right, all *without* needing my involvement but presented the solution that I had requested and so deserve 5-stars for truly understanding what good customer service looks like.
I received the tree quickly however, the leaves were and still are spotted and brown.
One of the 3 trees I bought was dead on arrival. Customer Service required me to send them a pic. I understand -- but their technology seemed limited. We went back and forth several times because they couldn't view the pics I sent. Finally, they saw the pictures and sent me a GREAT replacement tree. Thank you!
I ordered a bird of paradise, medium size - I believe it was supposed to be 2-3' - it is closer to 1 1/2'. Sizes are no longer listed for this "tree" so I can't complain.
Apart from the disappointing size, the plant is beautiful, full and healthy.
When I received the tree every leaf and limb was broke on it and they told me to watch it for a month and see what it does and I figured that was an automated system so I wasn't expecting that much damage on the tree. However I am sure they'll stand by it if it dies.

Good experience. Had a couple issues with the trees but they replaced them at no cost. I just had to pay for the shipping.
I have planted day lilies, autumn joy sedum and crab apple trees. The shipping and packing were ok. However I just found the same plants at Walmart for 1/4 the price. My plants from Walmart also look great right now. Everything on the site seems very overpriced.

Customer service was good when ordering, trees arrived timely, but when opened boxes these 3 trees looked like tall sticks and the scarce small leaves were very dry. We tried to plant them anyway but I was just too disappointed in the look. I requested my money back and haven't gotten it yet.

Was worried that having a young tree shipped would not go well, but it arrived looking healthy with no damage. Excited to see it thru the seasons
The plants and trees at Fast Growing Trees are mostly healthy. The plants we received would have been nice if they had arrived whole, however, they were damaged in shipping and arrived with broken branches and leaves, one box stated, "this side up" and the plants inside were upside down. However, I have been caring for them daily and one is starting to bloom. The others are still healing. I did contact the help desk and was told that there has been a problem with the shipping company lately.
Leaves on hydrangea tree were all wilted on arrival, and within 3 days of arrival, all leaves fell off

I just had one complaint: I didn't hear from anyone for nearly a week after ordering.my tree.
Your ad says that orders will ship in 2 - 3 business days, but it took longer than that before I finally was contacted about my tree shipment. Then, it all sped up and was happy to see that long box with my crape myrtle at the door. Had to wait until the next day to plant it with the help of a family member.
It was really hot here in Texas with very little rain and strong gusty winds, but my little crape myrtle held on. Only one thing, we noticed a white web wrapping around a branch, couldn't see any insect, but sprayed it with insecticidal soap and it seemed to have subsided... The leaves look very healthy, I can't wait to see the first blooms
The shipping took longer than expected. The delivery was 4 days past the expected arrival date and the tree was in some distress. I'm hoping it makes it!
I have ordered from fast growing trees multiple times over the last few years. I'm always happy and actually impressed with the health and condition of the trees i've received.
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
