I ordered two cherry companion trees and two pecan trees. The shipments were delayed in transit and the boxes arrived extremely damaged. Of the two cherry trees neither was tagged to differentiate from the other, so as one has continued to deteriorate I don't know which of the two species I need to try to replace. I'm saddened that one of these is not gonna thrive.
I was putting in new landscaping and was having trouble finding the desired plants in our local stores. FGT had what I was looking for and said delivery would be quick. Once ordered, the tracking was good but the plants, some from west coast and some from the east had a couple of delays in shipping and it took two extra days to arrive. With record heat in the region I was concerned how they would arrive. When they came they were packed really well and the root balls were still moist but very warm. The blooms that were on the plant when packaged were all dead, dried and spread in the box. After ordering, the nurseries here started to get new shipments of everything I was needing. The nurseries here have larger plants for the same price and most are in full bloom. The FGT plants have been in the ground for two weeks now and are starting to bloom and take off. In a few weeks, I think they will be where the plants are now in the stores that I can purchase for the same price.

The tree arrived in pretty good condition, i planted it right away in a very large redwood planter box in semi shaded area with a sun screen roof, i followed planting instructions, it perked up right away, for about the next 3 weeks it looked great, then all of sudden it started turning brown, i took a leaf sample to nursrey, he said it will come, needs more water, i was watering every other day, i was in fear of overwatering, now i am water twice daily, about 40% of brown is gone and green is coming back
Got 2 healthy trees. Had an unrelated issues and customer service rep. Was VERY responsive. Not something I experience very often!
The folks at FGT are wonderful to deal with. My cherry tree showed up in a reasonable amount of time, but due to the extreme heat we have been dealing with in Central Texas, the tree quickly lost its leaves. I have kept the root ball moist, but not drenched, and and in dappled sunlight in hopes it will bud out. Time will tell if it makes it. Packaging was top notch and well secured. I'll get back with you on results...
I picked up two different orange trees, a banana tree and the peach cobbler blueberry bush. Both of the orange trees arrived with some broken branches but at least 80% of them were fine. I wasn't going to even make a big deal about it but I got an email from the company asking how the experience was and I was honest with them.
They ended up crediting me to replace them or buy something else. I was shocked. I will definitely be a regular customer from now on.

I ordered two pluot trees and when one arrived i asked when was the other one arriving. Sad to say at first i was told it was on its way. To find out a few days later there was a problem with the quality of that specific tree. I recueved a refund but who knows when the tree will become available again
Everything went smoothly except shipping. This took an extra day longer than originally expected. This was in 95 degree heat which lead to some heat damage to the leaves. The plant is healthy now and has not lost any leaves however heat damage caused cracking and browning of sections of multiple leaves. Packaging was done very well.
I bought 4 bushes, Mach-Oranges, at almost $100 each. One never leafed out and is dead. I contacted Fast Growing Trees a month after receipt and told them that it was dead but they refused to send me a new one.

Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
