Package well prepared and packed. Fast delivery as I was told.
Purchased about a dozen Thuga Baby Giants about 16 months ago. Planted immediately, took great care of them... yet they are pretty much unchanged to this day.
In fact, some died.
Luckily, I had purchased a warranty and it was properly honored... I received 3 replacements.
These are certainly NOT "fast growing trees"... my landscaper told me they are slow growers and this seems the case.
Oh well...
The "tree" I received was about as big around as a toothpick. The leaves started falling off as soon as the tree came out of the box. Particularly with delivery included, the price was FAR too high for what I received. I won't order here again; I'll stick to a local nursery or a reputable outfit like Monrovia.
I don't want to review my purchase, but since you won't leave me alone, here's 1 star.
We have ordered a number of trees. All have been healthy, larger than expected and fast growing! The trees we have gotten from big box stores cost about the same and they always struggle. We have a Star Fruit from local store that has been in the ground for 5 years and only produced 1 or 2 fruit per year, it has not grown in hieght at all. The Star Fruit tree from Fast Growing Trees has doubled in size, produced about 50 fruit this year and has been in the ground only 9 months!
2 of the bushes we bought we're out of their pots and dying Sent photos but never received a reply.
Almost everything I purchased died even though we did exactly what the directions say. If you buy the insurance, they only give you a credit for something else, that will probably die too! We've spoken with many at Fast Growing Trees and all they say is sorry, here's your credit.
Delivers on time, very easy, concerned a little about a couple of the trees making it they had little browning on the limbs, time wil tell.
The tree is not doing well at all. From the day I received it continues to struggle with dropping leaves daily and was missing a lot of leaves when delivered. For $150+ I would expect a healthy tree. I'm disappointed
Do not trust the beautiful pictures they are advertising!
The trees I received did not looked anything like it.
I could of find the same trees at Home Depot for a third of a price.
On the positive side, they did the right thing by refunding me.
Our tree came super fast and in great shape! It was ready to plant. We would definitely order again!
Our trees were delivered, and we planted them two days later. A few days later, one of them was looking very droopy. We contacted customer service, sent them a picture, and they immediately sent us another tree. Free, including shipping! Trees are looking good!
Tree was 4 to 5 feet tall. It has growth 18 inches up and then a bare spot the next 12 to 18 inches with no growth then small growth at top. I could have purchased a tree locally that was 10 feet tall and much better established for not much more. I would not buy again.
FGT sent, carefully packed a great seedling. It presently resides in a large pot on our deck
We received our tree in excellent condition and in the time specified. We were so pleased with the whole experience, that this site will now be our "go-to" site for future tree purchases.
Not only is fast growing trees generally more expensive than other nursery stock suppliers, they charge a ridiculous amount to ensure your purchases beyond the initial Few weeks guarantee. Be sure to compare prices as this is a rip off operation
My plants arrived in beautiful condition. Well packaged and quick shipping was highly appreciated.
Shipping was fast and the tree looks healthy. Looking forward to watching it grow.
Very good experience,
Why don't you let me summit my review without typing 50 letters?
I ordered two lignon berry bushes and a calamondin orange tree. The lignon berries, while in the appropriate sized container, were incredible small and not in great shape when they arrived; many leaves were bent, spotted, or damaged and the plant was far from verdant. I'm a total green thumb, but I'm not sure if they will ultimately make it as it's been just at a month and they're barely eeking along. The calamondin orange was in fine health, but the graft is very prominent and sloppy, creating a right angle at the base of the tree that will only become more prominent as the tree grows. It seemed like all of the plants I ordered were upotted before being sent to me, as the soil was mounded on the top and very loose, while the plants seemed unestablished in their pots. I ordered plants from another site at the same time at a similar price point and was underwhelmed by the plants from FGT. Although FGT has a wider selection, I don't think I'll order from them again.
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
