I have placed two orders and received partial fulfillment on both. No communication has been shared w me as to when it even if the back order will be fulfilled, but my credit card was charged full amount.
Ordered trees and FedEx mishandled them horribly. They immediately replaced a McIntosh that was broken, even though it will most likely survive. A week later they replaced a Fuji that had gone through transportation trauma and all leaves shrivelled up.

Ordered a tree that was too big for the boxes they had, they just broke the top two feet off to fit it in the box. They then used my warranty to send me a smaller tree to fit the box then never refunded the difference until I initiated a charge back with my credit card. Used to love this site but must have finally won that race to the bottom because it's a clown show now. Will have to seriously reconsider before ever ordering again.
Fast shipping, decent price but there was basically no rootball on these hydrangeas so they're suffering immensely. They should be able to tolerate sun but they're all struggling and this is with root stimulator and appropriate watering. I was impressed overall until I pulled them out of containers to transfer to ground and really these at best have been in the pots for mere weeks probably from water rooting not long ago. The loose dirt just fell out of container because the barely there roots could not hold any chance of a root ball together.

Hey I love fast growing trees and their products. They are some of the healthiest plants I've seen. The downside, which is why I have it 4 stars, is you have to wait for them for a long period to ship and some of them do not arrive the healthiest. They are good about returning and replacing.
Waited for Fast Growing Trees to finally get the new redbud tree (Hearts Afire) in stock. I ordered a 2-3 foot tree. Upon receiving it, I found it to be 18 inches and severely wilted. Why is it that every time I order a tree from Fast Growing Trees, it is always the very bare minimum or less than what is listed in height? And no, it was not one of the last ones that you had in stock...I ordered it the first day they were available. You would think the first people to order would not get the smallest ones. If I had wanted one 1-2 feet, that is what i would have ordered. Isn't that why there is a different price for different heights? This has happened 2 or 3 times to me when I ordered from Fast Growing Trees but the first time I have emailed about it.
Shipping was fast. Plants are packed well. They are well rooted. Guarantee is included and shipping. Three trees and a bush are doing well even in 100 degree temps. I ordered 5-7 ft trees a 3 gal bush and a hydrangea.
I order a golden falls red bud, the tree arrived in a few days and was packaged good.
The tree itself is ok, had a fair amount off dying leaves that had holes eaten in them, if I have an issues it the trunk of the tree is bent right at the base( maybe this particular type of tree that is normal but I have seen them other places nice and straight) not sure how or if that will affect the health or how the tree grows, time will tell but if it's an issue I'm stuck with it now.
Good price but you can't see what your buying so probably use local nursery moving forward.
Called and ordered a tree on a Friday, call back Monday and changed tree size. Three days later a beautiful tree arrives. Three days after that it has new growth in five spots. Dumb
Ordered two different plants. One came
Out of the pot, soil everywhere and the pot was cracked. The other one had soil everywhere and looked very wilted. Had to buy new potting soil and repot both of them and hoping they survive.
Their trees and plants are wonderful! Even when they arrive in rough shape, trimming the dead pieces off and planting per instructions will generally ensure the plant survives.
My only complaint is that they use Fed Ex as a delivery service - every box that I've got from FedEx, including from Fast Growing Trees, is beat up at best and has been opened/run over at worst. With the plants, this last shipment has me worried that the plants I ordered won't survive. That said, there is a 1-year guarantee on the plants, which gives me peace of mind in case I can't save the plants.
I was cautious about ordering a plant online without seeing it first. I've ordered several plants now and all of them are doing great! I'm very satisfied and will be ordering again.
I ordered two trees and killed them. I contacted customer support got advice on how to take care of the trees. I got free replacements on trees and now they are thriving. I appreciate all the customer support I received. Thank you
John has taken care of me on several landscaping projects over the years. He has sold me perhaps as many as 150 trees and a lot of shrubs. They have all been delivered promptly and in excellent condition. The few trees that struggled the first year were cheerfully replaced with new trees. I cannot give John and FGT enough praise for a job well done! -Gary Cunningham
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
