I have been doing business with Fast Growing Trees for a couple of years and couldn't be happier. The quality and customer service is amazing.
Everything we purchased was delivered in great shape, and have thrived.
I got a Concord grape, avocado tree, lime tree and blueberry tree from them. The blueberry tree did do well from the beginning so they replaced it without any trouble. We got some Concord grapes so far. Will buy more :)
I planted the tree anyway after doing the scratch test. It's not doing well.
When we received our spartan the top of the plant was bent over. This was due to shipping. They need to secure the bottom better so the plant can not move around. Hopefully it will straighten out. The plant itself was very nice.
I purchased the Colorama Scarlet Crape Myrtle Tree. I can't wait to see her get taller and bloom. The tree arrived perfectly boxed and wrapped. No damage
I was very hesitant to order trees online. After planting (I am not exactly novice when it comes to plants and landscaping) I was disappointed that some of the trees browned quickly.
I assumed it was transplant shock combined with "shipping shock."
When I called customer service, I promptly received replacement tress, but also very helpful advice.
I am still not certain if 2-3 of the original trees will survive the year, but the replacements seem to be doing much better.
When I receive my cone flowers they are all dead wilted bent over packed that way.
When I called and asked for them to be replaced they just gave me a store credit
I didn't really know that shipping plants just like shipping shoes was a real thing. In a box? That's not how plants work. But while renovating the house and updating the landscape, after a lot of researce, I really wanted to plant some redbuds and JMaples. Not a lot of selection for those at the box store. I found FGT and started with one redbud. Then another. This is a slow moving project where I think about what plant whould fit there, and after a few months, I decide what plant I want. And then I just wait for it to go on sale. They have sales all the time. It's hard to pay $150 for a 1 gallion plant. But they have sales every day and you'll find what your looking for soon enough for a more reasonable price. As for the product...I have purchased 8 individual plants and all of them have arrive pretty pristine. A couple had the root ball slide out of the container, but the root ball mostly held together, plants seem fine. The eight plants I've purchaed only go back 6 months, so way too early to say how the take/thrive. But these plants are on a different level than the box stores.
Trash trash trash. The delivery sucked and my plants were dead once I opened the box
L was given a store credit because one of my trees from a previous purchase didnt survive. The lady taking my call was very helpful and professional and helped me arrange my order.
The tree was delivered very promptly.
Plants did not arrive on date promised, in fact they shipped 2 days after promised delivery date. Customer service contacted and they gave me the shipping date. Customer service(Adam) also told me he was giving me 25,% off because of the misinformation. I never received discount.
I bought a large bag of K31 grass seed. To avoid high shippping costs i chose to buy a rose plant.
The grass seed quickly sprouted but then just as quickly died. The rose plant needs a lot of TLC.
Both were very expensive. This is my second or third experience with this company and all experiences were bad really.
Shop at your own risk.
For what it is worth customer service is very polite, respectful and good.
Ordered an Emerald Flair Elm that was packaged well and arrived on time. The Tree however had some black spot fungus on many leaves. I sent an email with pics and FGT responded right away and told me how to treat the leaves to stop the fungus
So far the tree has shown some improvement
Like the quick response and advice.
The packing and delivery were fine. The plants arrived quickly and intact. The little Limelight was totally root bound and dried out. The upper leaves were pale green and the lower leaves must have been removed as it did not look natural. It is coming back out thankfully. I expected a better plant. The chocolate mimosa was in good shape but small.
Could not have been better. Knowledgeable sales person. Discounts.
The 2 gallon shrub rose came on time. It was well packaged. It had two little blossoms which was nice, but otherwise it was a scrawny little thing that reminded me of a newborn butterfly just emerging from its cocoon (cardboard box). I might have hoped for a more robust specimen, perhaps an unfair expectation for a mail order plant. However I am enjoying watching the little buds trying to develop. I look forward to nursing it to maturity and will enjoy reporting back to everyone in the future.
The website offers excellent information on various trees of interest and features a large selection, providing ideas and opportunities for current and future projects.
Ordered the 4- pack of Black Knight Butterfly bushes over the phone. Great experience with that. Package arrives via FedEx in a not so perfect condition. FedEx driver hands off the package and said he has no idea what happened. Upon opening the plants look pretty rough and distressed. I planted them anyway and within 4 days they were completely dead. Spoke to customer service and they apologized and offered to send full replacements. No problem. 3 days later while expecting delivery, I received an email from FedEx stating the package was damaged in transit and would not be delivered. Now I just want a refund abd will purchase plants locally. I don't believe it is the fault of FastGrowing Trees but the problem lies with shipping FedEx.
I have ordered several different fruit trees from this company and have always been quite pleased with the products received. The shipping is fast, the packaging is good and my trees always arrive in good condition.
Extremely satisfied with the process of getting 20 trees. They were boxed well only had one come damaged trying to get it to takeoff. If not, I'll reach out for the one year warranty. The damage is not caused by the packing is caused by the shipping FedEx destroyed two boxes
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
