I ordered a mango tree. A lychee tree and a mulberry tree. The lychee arrived in very poor condition and died with a few days. The mango was in a crushed pot but survived ok. A replacement lychee was finally sent after I was first told I could pay extra to " guarantee" my trees. The replacement arrived DEAD. I immediately called and eMailed dated time stamped pictures of the plant and packaging - to date - not a si hole reply or response. My final tree the mulberry arrived yesterday in a crushed container, wilted, dry and broken. Once again. No reply to email or phone messages left. Extremely upset and unhappy with over 300$ spent for so far one live tree. Spend your $$ elsewhere!
Sadly I lost my Avocado tree but my Banana tree is thriving very well. Packaged well, fast shipping.
100% of the time Fedex delivers my packages to the wrong home. I have complained numerous times. Their customer service is hideous, Moving around the packages like that is damaging your trees.
The original magnolia tree arrived dead, but they replaced it with another tree which was green and healthy. They were quick and efficient.
I've ordered several trees from Fast Growing Trees over the last year. I have 3 apple trees, a 5/1 plum, 2 cold hardy pomegranates, a vanilla plant, 2 cherries, and a nectarine. The Apple, plum, and pomegranate trees are doing fine, but things could change.
The vanilla, cherry, and nectarine are all struggling. I bought into Fast Growing Trees because of their 1 year warranty and their claim to have a better rootstock. My nectarine is dying even though I water and fertilize as directed, one of my cherry trees died, and every other plant was damaged upon delivery.
I've had decent luck with my trees from Fast Growing Trees and the problem trees have been covered and replaced with the warranty, but Fast Growing Trees does a real shoddy job of packaging their plants for shipment. Most trees that arrive have broken branches (bing cherry, Lapins cherry, black tartarian cherry, 5/1 plum, nectarine) and the latest tree, bing cherry, was snapped in half. Also, when my vanilla plant arrived it was completely unpotted, the roots were destroyed, and the plant was in multiple pieces.
I'd still recommend Fast Growing Trees but I'd make sure to inform who I'm telling that you should expect a less than ideal tree when it's delivered. The silver lining is that Fast Growing Trees will send you a new plant or will give you a store credit if their is a problem with your order, which has happened several times for me.
On the website, the size of the tree I ordered was listed at 1-2 gallons. It was more like a quart. I was pleased with the shape they were in - they were well packed. Just know that the trees will be much smaller, for $18.95, than you can get at Lowe's for $13.95.

WHEN I CALLED TO LET THEM KNOW THAT ONE TREE WAS BROKEN IN HALF THE LADY ON THE PHONE SAID SHE NEEDED A PIC OF IT. I HAD ALREADY THROWN THE BROKEN PIECE OUT. SO THAT MENT NO REFUND OR STORE CREDIT. THEY NEED TO MENTION IT ON THE COMMENTS SOMEWHERE.
I was very pleased with the kind of customer service I received. I am anxious to see how they all look next spring.
The avocado trees arrived on time. The cold hardy one experienced some shipping shock (the leaves were folded together) but it's getting much better. Following the instructions that came with the plants, I set them outside in the sun. Unfortunately it was over 100 and the Haas leaves burned. I later received an email that said not to set in the hot sun but unfortunately the damage was done.
I've called several times with various questions and everyone has been extremely patient and helpful. There is new growth now on both trees (3 weeks later) with the cold hardy definitely more. I will start the acclimation process of bringing them inside. I plan on babying these plants like no other because We are really looking forward to having fresh avocados.
Small, small elderberry got 2 different cuttings in one St jones and some other one. Disappointed
And the black berry triple crown was a total disappointment

I ordered a banana and key lime tree originally. I ordered the banana tree originally but when I saw that you charge $15 for shipping and offer free shipping for orders over a certain amount I ordered the key lime tree as well to qualify for free shipping. What I got was this very small banana tree which eventually became somewhat discolored no key lime tree and although I wasn't charged for the lime tree I was charged for shipping. When I received an email from fast growing trees about my purchase ilold them about all of this and sent them pictures of the banana tree. I never got a response. I planted the banana tree In an obscure part of my yard hoping that it will grow strong and healthy and Immediately went to Walmart to buy another banana tree That was cheaper than my purchase from fast growing trees ( including shipping) that was about 7 x as big And obviously much healthier and planted it where I was going to originally plant the tree from fast growing trees... near the waterfall if my pond. The Walmart has grown several leaves since then and is healthy looking. Regarding the "fast growing trees" tree... although it still looks alive and I water it every night it still doesn't look healthy and still hasn't grown any leaves. Needless to say I am dissapointed.
My trees shipped quickly and looked great upon arrival.

Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
