My advice: don't go anywhere near this website. I ordered an Alexander Wang bag from them a few weeks ago. Unfortunately the stitching came undone after a few days, it clearly hadn't been finished properly at the factory. Assuming this was a rare occurrence, I contacted Farfetch and returned the bag for an exchange. This was refused, Farferch said it was a limitation of the designer and Alexander Wang don't provide exchanges, and a repair was the only option. I declined and requested a refund. This was also refused for the same reason, I was also told rather threateningly that if I did not agree to a repair, my return would be refused on arrival. I complained but Farfetch began ignoring my emails, when I rang they tell you they'll get back to you and don't. I looked on Alexander Wang's website which clearly states in the T&C's that on the rare occasion a product is defective they are happy to provide a refund. I've lost £622 of my money, and I'm seriously considering shopping this website to the media, people need to be warned about this website. I wish I'd read the reviews on here first, I'd never have ordered from them. If you're buying designer items and spending this kind of money, my advice would be to buy directly from the designer, or a well known store or site like Selfridges. Don't go anywhere near Farfetch..

Terrible customer service. I've never experienced anything like it. There is now plenty of choice on the internet so I would suggest you steer clear and find someone else. I'm sure there are plenty of other companies that would appreciate the business and treat you with a bit of respect too. Farfetch are very poor indeed.

I purchased a Moncler jacket from Farfetch for $730. The jacket arrived in a timely manner, and is an authentic Moncler, but the jacket pocket was torn and the tags had been removed by the vendor - a boutique in Naples Italy. I emailed Moncler to complain, they asked to me email them photos, which I did, and I just received an email saying there is nothing they can do. So, I sewed the pocket - fortunately it was a torn seam on teh inside lining of the pocket, and I will not be ordering againf rom Farfetch.

First time ordered from Farfetch. I was hesitated after reading some negative reviews but I took the chance since the price was cheaper than other stores. Got my item in 4 days. The charge was correct as it stated on the website. The amount on the invoice was different though, about $100 less, so I'm guessing I'm paying for import duty? Good experience so far, will order again

Yes, I received the item but my credit card was overcharged by farfetch.com. The contract of sale, as stated on the website, is directly between the buyer and the boutique. The charges on my cc have nothing to do with invoice that I got from the boutique. The card was charged by farfetch.com. They refuse to refund. The explanation provided is that the price should be the same as the price in EUR in Italy. This is wrong as the Italian price includes 22% VAT which doesn't apply to US consumers. The invoice from Italian boutique reflects correct price.

Please, be careful.

I purchased a pair of Dolce and Gabbana leggings from this site that were as far as I could tell, completely sold out in the USA in the size I needed. They arrived VERY quickly by DSL and I could not be happier. They came straight out of Italy from a boutique store and are the exact same ones that were at Neiman Marcus that were to big for me. I will defiantly use this site again to find things from across the world not available in the USA.

Price is a bit cheaper that other online shops probably bec they have many varieties (sizes and options bec. Of diff shops under them). To be honest, i was a bit worried after placing an order bec ive read a lot of negative reviews about them. But all went smoothly. Processed and shipped quickly 5 business days from the shop in Italy to Melb Aus. No nitty gritty custom stuff. I was happy with DHL too bec tracking system is real time. I plan to order again and hoping(and expecting) i get the same service. Thank you Farfetch.

The site and service is awful.

I ordered two items recently. A pair of earrings, which I was called about times because they sent a courier to my location. I was in meetings and couldn't answer. Then I went to return the earrings right after I bought them to only find out they don't accept returns for jewelry, which apparently they state in their T&C, which I never read since I only do business with websites I trust. I don't trust them and will never use them again.

Other issues -- horribly designed site, check-out process poor, shipping too expensive. When I tried to return, I couldn't log into the site (it appeared down) and I had to instant message for a long time with someone to 1) learn I couldn't return 2) cancel my second order because I don't want to do business with them anymore.

It's unfortunate because the concept of the site is great, but execution terrible. They sell very premium items at a high cost, but they are anything but premium.

I am a big online shopper and when I researched on FarFetch review, I see some negative reviews. I hesitant a bit but still decide to give it a try. Bought a pair of shoes and it came very quick via DHL. Later because I had to return the shoes, the return was quite easy, and the FarFetch was very prompt on refunding me the payment.

Unfortunately we live in a world where people would are first to complain rather than give praise. I have placed a few orders with Farfetch and never had any real issues.

I wanted a pair of jeans I saw at Saks, but unfortunately no longer stock my size. Found them on Farfetch for 30% less than Saks and they arrived within six days. Out of the few orders I have placed, this was the only one I called customer service for and had no wait time. I saw my card was charged, but never received tracking. Not blaming Farfetch. Maybe it was missed in my spam folder. Who knows. Any case the woman looked up my order, got my tracking and waited on the phone to insure I received the email with the info.

Any case they arrived today. Exactly as described, well professionally packed and once again a happy customer.
If it wasn't my impatience of wanting an item today. I would use Farfetch more often and save at the same time.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE... THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT HAVE THE ITEM YOU ORDERED! Absolutely insane when you are spending thousands of dollars on brands such as Armani, Versace, McQueen, Givenchy! I placed an order and farfetched.com debited my debit card before I could blink, literally seconds, then a few hours later I get an email saying the item "is no longer in stock". When I called customer service, their excuse is that they deal with boutiques and "this happens all the time and is really not our fault". I can't wait to see how long it takes for my account to be refunded. I should have read all of these negative reports before purchasing anything from this site. One this is for sure though, their site is quite appropriately named... Farfetched!

While we try our best to ensure our online stock is up to date all times, due to the nature of the business, although it is not often, occasionally items becomes sold out in the boutique while we receive our order online.
However we apologise that you were advised " this happens all the time and is really not our fault ". We can reassure you that it is not the way we approach this particular matter. We are working hard to ensure we decrease the chance of this happening and when it does, we notify the customer as soon as possible while offering a small compensation.
As for your debit card being charged straight away, this is something we cannot control as usually that is just the nature of debit card. Unlike credit cards, payments using a debit card are immediately transferred from the card holder's designated bank account, instead of money being paid at a later date. We hope this offers some explanation.

Once again, we sincerely apologise that your first order was sold out on this occasion.

I bought a pair of Bottega Veneta for $858.35
I returned the item as received. DHL came to pick up the item and they checked the item before taking it. As per Farfetch returns policy, the item was placed in the supplied Farfetch box in addition to another cardboard box surrounding it.
I received an email from Farfetch with images stating that the item was not sent in the Farfetch box and that the security tag was not attached to the item. The security tag is merely a plastic loop around one of the loafers, this can easily come off and be placed back onto the shoe. This is what I presume has occurred.
Farfetch procured DHL for handling and shipping of their goods. I have explicitly followed Farfetch's return instructions to the letter. Any alterations to the packaging or transport of the items are obviously beyond my control and are the sole responsibility of DHL and Farfech. I am extremely disappointed with how this matter has been handled and Farfetch's denial of any responsibility.

I have been browsing the site for a long time. The site is beautifully designed and I like the idea of being able to purchase from boutiques all over the world. I have made my first purchase two weeks ago. I bought 2 items from 2 boutiques. So, 2 parcels were sent to me. The shipping from Italy was every expensive. And I had to pay duties for both of them. One of the parcels was properly packed but the other one was all crumbled when it got to me. I guess the entire shopping experience also has a lot to do with which particular boutique that you bought the items from. Since the boutiques handle the fulfillment of the orders, there is pretty not much that farfetch could do about it.

I could not find a pair of sandals to wear for my wedding since it is already August and all the fall products are in. I went online for hours and finally found a beautiful pair on farfetch. I placed my order at 1 am on monday and they arrived in Los Angeles from Paris on Wednesday morning. I couldn't be happier. I knew the brand and my correct size in it, so I didn't have to worry about returns, which according to other reviews can be problematic.

Product came from italy to brooklyn via dhl. Ive made orders inside the states that didnt arrive as quick. Sorry for anyone who had a bad experience but I personally have nothing bad to say about farfetch.com and i will buy from them again in the future.

First order 6 days ago, fantastic price, service brilliant, goods came sooner than other orders placed within the UK. Pristine condition, I only wish I had discovered this online store years ago, would have saved a fortune on designer goods for family and friends. I ordered what I thought was a relatively low priced item (sub £100). However due to problems with my debit card they wanted me to send a copy of my passport and/or card that I ordered the product on to them.

I called, suggested I give them another card - however they said they had to get a copy of these documents and another card was no good. Turns out there is no problem with my card - they simply ask all new customers for these documents.

I work for a large data protection company and when speaking internally my colleagues are all flabbergasted that a retail company would ask for these details and I was advised in no way should you ever provide these documents unless by banks/government or at a stretch travel agents.

Unfortunately they already took payment even though they were never going to send the products without personal documents. From a user experience perspective this should be made apparent on the checkout page.

So now I am awaiting the refund of the amount. Terrible experience - from a marketing point of view if a company is providing a premium product/price range, the service needs to reflect the increased cost to the consumer. Otherwise there is no point in paying the premium as the value is not there for the end user.

In this case there is no added value of utilizing farfetch as far as I can see.

Shame, the site looks good
