STAY AWAY FROM FARFETCH AT ALL COSTS! Nightmare is how I describe my experience with them. I paid $1350 for a BRAND NEW Valentino Rockstud bag and receive a USED bag (clasp and plate completely covered in scratches from top to bottom, left to right as if someone opened the bag 1000 times, scratches in the leather, lint/glitter inside the bag and tags not attached.
Gente Roma offers me an insulting $66 off. They send me a $1350 used bag instead of a new one to a 1st time buyer and this is what you insult me with?

FARFETCH has done absolutely NOTHING to remedy the situation, other than contact Gente Roma and see if they insult me some more with probably $5 more off lol
It's been almost a week and no resotion at all. I have a feeling Farfetch is trying to run the clock on me, so if try to return the bag it in a few days, it will be too late.

After all the HORROR stories I've read about Farfetch (Google their reviews and you will see)
I'm glad I took a video of me opening the package, otherwise I'm sure they would refuse a refund because they would accuse me of using the bag and then returning it. If I'm lucky enough to get any of my money back, instead of being stuck with a used old bag, it will take ONE MONTH TO GET A REFUND from these blodsuckers!

I suggest if you're brave enough to still order from them, you cover your yourself and do the same. Take a video of opening the box. Not that that means anything anyways. They'll probably insult you with a mediocre discount at best.

LOSS OF ORDER..

I placed an order on a Tuesday which was due to be delivered to London from Italy within 5 working days. The next Tuesday came and it was out for delivery. I waited all day at home and then decided to check the UPS tracking system, which had said the item was delivered and signed for by someone i have never heard of. I contacted Farfetch and they said they will be in contact with UPS. It has been 2 weeks as of tomorrow and there is still no update. I am incredibly disappointed with the service as I needed the item as a gift and yet, am left with nothing. I would appreciate a refund as well as some form of compensation for this loss, as I am very upset and doubt I will order again.

Lost of package
April 24, 2015

I had a package which was misdelivered to somewhere else and signed by a person I do not know. I called DHL twice and they told me they will track it, and if it is indeed lost I should contact the seller. Actually I talked to your customer service, all he told me is that he cannot give any promise before the results came. All I want to know it that, if it is indeed lost, you will provide a replacement or refund! So, I am just curious how would they send my package that even does not live in our apartment and no one is going to take responsibility for it?! YOU CANNOT EVEN GIVE SUCH A PROMISE! Also, as I asked DHL they just told me that the package did NOT contain any insurance protection. Whom should I seek help from?

I was desperately searching high and low for a kenzo sweatshirt and moschino belt and after endless clicks, I found them on Farfetch! *happy dance* To my surprise, prices on the site are much lower compared to buying it from boutiques so lucidly I went on shopping spree mode and ended up buying much more than anticipated :( Shipping took a total of 4 days and that's pretty quick so 5 stars to Farfetch!

Terrible Service
April 20, 2015

Bought an iPhone case during the free shipping period, came in bent and unusable. Asked for an exchange and they said that they usually don't accept exchange but my case is an exception. Waited for 2 weeks without any information then asked again. The said that they will only give me a refund for the amount that I have paid for. Slow response during the live chat.

Horrible service.
I bought a pair of sunglasses and when they are importing, some information needed from the seller.
Contact farfetch more than 5 times for those information, they reassured me that they will deal with this. After almost two weeks, they still did not get those information and my package did not pass custom and got sent back to Italy.
If you do not want have the same trouble, just stay away from Farfetch

Fast and legit

I am from Australia. I have just purchased an item from them recently and this was my first purchase. I have read some negative reviews for them but I still placed my order as their price is AUD $300+ cheaper than other websites including shipping. I placed my order on 30/3 and received it on 7/4. I think it would be faster if it was not the Easter holiday. I saw there were complaints about scratches on items. But I do not have any on mine (maybe I am just lucky). FYI, I purchased from the Italian store Stefania Mode. I could not choose which store to buy from as my item was only available there. This is my fair view on Farfetch. I wish this is helpful for anyone who wants to buy from them.

Like other people who had to return an item that did fit not I had a bad experience. Got a shirt - it did not fit - returned it with all tags attached, followed all the return instructions and now the store in Rome Gente Roma claims I did not include the tags. Regret not taking a picture of my order! Not sure how this will be resolved. Learned my lesson - will read reviews first before shoping on any online store. Got used to great customer service on amazon, neimanmarcus, saks.

I am from the US and was looking around for Valentino Rockstuds. They are usually sold out in my area. I stumbled upon Farfetch through a google search. I was very skeptical of the cheap price and reviews I seen but I was willing to take the risk. I ordered a pair of the matte blush color, which I can't even find in the US. I got a free shipping promotion and my total price that included duty taxes was only $706! That's a couple hundred dollar discount, not including taxes I would have to pay. I received my package in 3 days from purchase, which is unbelievable! It came all the way from Paris, France from Biondini Boutique. Shoes were gorgeous, authentic and brand new! I am going to refer all my shoe lovers to Farfetch. It was such an easy, no headache transaction. It seems like a lot of the negative reviews has to do with customer service and I can't rate that because I didn't need to contact them. This review is solely on my purchase and item.

I was nervous about ordering from out of the country and after reading negative reviews, but I had a PERFECT transaction. I bought beautiful Jimmy Choo shoes and saved over $250 from US prices. They arrived within 3 days. The shipping company contacted me and I didn't have to give any other information. They sent me the tracking info and the shoes arrived faster than ordering from a nearby store. I highly recommend Farfetch and will definitely buy from them again!

THE WORST

Ordered a dress and a pair of shoes. At the end dress was not available and shoe were dirty and marked. Shoes were over 1000 usd and they were dirty and scuffed?!
Horrible customer service, I felt like i was talking to myself. E-mailed the customer service and did not get anywhere. I should not be charged for shipping customers and duties if the product was faulty.

I bought a sude jacket which cost around £1000 and shipped from US to UK. I am aware that there will be duty fee charges but I double-checked the item that it already has the import duty fee included. However, my item is still being held by DHL at the custom n asking me to pay an extra £230 for the custom duty free?!

I am glad that they have solved this problem as soon as possible and I do not get double-charged with the duty fee. Overall I am pleased with their quick response n therefore changed my bad review about this.

Stained Jacket

Do not order from this website. I ordered an expensive jacket but it came with a stain on it. Any other decent merchant would give a full refund (there is the only piece) and apologize. They insisted it's normal and asked me to take it back or kept my shipping fee. No way I would take a stained jacket so they kept my shipping fee. Never shop here again.

I placed my order on 10/16/2014, and received a dress that did not fit. Every store offer easy return process, thought Farfetch.com is the same, but I was dead wrong!
They received my return item on Oct 27 and was supposed to received a refund right away. As of today, 2/27/2015, I still have not received my money back? Which company takes 4 MONTHS to NOT ISSUE A REFUND FOR A RETURN ITEM? Please read other reviews on other websites, they make things up about the return being not in the same condition. In my case, the dress I return suddenly now has a stain? I tried the dress on for less than 30 seconds, then put it back in the box. They use this same tactic to refuse to refund and drag the process on and on until you never see your money again? Now they have the dress and my money, I filed a credit card dispute, and they responded to my credit card company that they have already issued the refund but to some credit card number that I do not own. I contacted their customer service and asked them where they got that credit card number that wasn't even mine. Then I was told in order to refund my money, I need to first close the dispute. I own a business and I know that even if there is a dispute, you can simply just issue a refund without any problem. I contacted my credit card company again and they let me know the same thing. Yes, they can issue a refund at anytime during a dispute. If Farfetch ask you to close any dispute before they can issue you the refund, please DO NOT trust them. Clearly that Farfetch is lying to my credit card company and I. At this point, I lost $1000 for nothing but frustration.
Please let the "World" know that this company constantly SCAMS their customers! That's how they earn their money. Stay Away from Farfetch please, don't become the next victim!

Avoid this shop!

My worst online shopping experience ever. Read through the posts here. Take heed. These guys do not know how to run an online shop. Mistakes from when I made a purchase, all the way to double-charging me with import duties, which took forever to refund. Customer service (if that name even does justice) are helpless, aloof and even arrogant. Worst experience ever. I would not even give this 1 star.

Worst

This site is one of the worst online shop ever.

I ordered few shoes from this store.

I asked customer representative about sizing shoes

And they said the link for shoe size chart

I was wearing size 10 us. and I ordered us 10 size shoes converted from EU.

I received the order and amazingly, shoe size is 10 but it looks like 12 or 13. Its whole lot of bigger than the size chat that they gave me.

I complained two manager and supervisor ** and **.

They talked to me that all the designers should have different size and customers can feel that size error? Like stupid sound.

They cant refund me shipping cost even though they gave me wrong information plus didnt even notify me about the size difference.

I lost nearly $80 for shipping cost which can buy few new clothings.

This is the losing game online shopping. If you buy and right size, then yours, even. If they sent the wrong size or different measurements, you totally lose the money. They do not care about customers. They only focusing on earning their moneys.

** and ** also talked about systematic message. They never thought in terms of customers.
I really regret that i spent 2-3k from this site

Worst Worst Worst. Better to look our other online shop.

Having read many reviews about this online shopping site i was very wary of buying anything. Having decided to take a chance & order ( having also used Paypal to purchase my itemincase of any required case) I can honestly say i hadno problems at allfrom minute i bought my item from a boutique in Italy to item arriving in my home in North East of Scotland, ( may i add delivery in less than 5 working days!). I was able to track item online through UPS allthe way. I would definitely recommend this site on my own personal experience.

Iorder shoes from sale +i had promo code 20%.
After two weeks waiting they send me@ with "tracking number". But this TN, not being able to located the package:)
As time went.
After 5 weeks from orders and dozens of phone calls to them, their crappy customer service without asking me
Refunded me the money to my account.
And now best!
That will be all right if they returned the full amount of money. But they stole £ 20!
Summarising the experience with Farfetch:
I do not have shoes
I lost over one month (Sale already finished) and promo code
I lost £ 20

Never ever!

I ordered from the FF website for the first time in December, but was told, after paying, that the shoes were unavailable in the size I ordered because the exact pair was simultaneously on display in a shop and must have been sold. I have never had this problem before in many years of online shopping. I returned the boots and received a refund, except for the shipping. The second purchase, pants, recently arrived in the wrong color and the customer service contact admitted that the color shown on the website was not what was shipped. I've been waiting for close to a week now to see if the pants I actually ordered are actually available and my patience is wearing thin. I don't want to report FF to a consumer protection bureau but will do so if the latest issue isn't resolved soon.
